Open and Save screen show for just a second then disappear.

First time posting
I can't save or open projects on occation. The save window will show for a secound then dispear. same thing when I try to open a project. The window will pop up then disapear. I edit on my iMac and my macbook pro. this only happens when working on the iMac. The only way I can work in primier today is by opening a "recent project". No issues on the macbook. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums.
Please create new profile and check if you are able to launch the program in it. Please go to the link below and create a new profile. Reboot your machine one the profile has been created and then launch the program in it.

If you are able to launch the application and work on it then you might have to repair the permission on your old profile.

I've used Firefox for years with no problems. I've not installed any new extensions or programs between the time it worked great and when the problem began.
I click to start FF (shortcut, directly on program file, etc.) and I get an hourglass for a couple of seconds like it's starting, then nada. As mentioned, I see FF show up as a process in Task Manager for about 3 seconds, then disappear.
Solutions I've tried include: Uninstall/reinstall on the same drive and a separate drive, registry cleanup/optimization w/Norton Utilities, full scan for malware/viruses with Norton, stopping some autostartup programs that were installed and in use while FF was running fine.I've used Firefox for years with no problems. I just installed iCloud for Windows on my Windows 7 PC, running Outlook 2007 and IE9. I have been dealing with an annoying issue for years with my iOS 6 devices, where I enter a reminder (which is sync'd to my MS Exchange server), and the reminder doesn't show up in Outlook until the day after the due date. I thought installing the iCloud control panel might help this issue. Now the task shows up for a few seconds, then disappears (from Outlook Today screen). It shows up in the task list if I click it, but not in my Today view, which is what I use to track my tasks. Any ideas why this disappearance may be occurring?
I had this same thing happen to me. I was using my brand new iphone 5 (texting and listening to music through the speakers) when it flashed the apple logo, stopped my music and brought me to the lock screen.

ITouch shows up on iTunes for a few seconds, then disappears. (Wireless Sync)
When I try syncing my iTouch with iTunes with wireless, the iPod only shows up for a few seconds, than disappears.

HOW TO OPEN AND SAVE FILES TO/FOR MS-WORD 2007 .docx format
MS-Office 2007 will open .docx files as well as .doc files. Apple's Pages '08 can OPEN MS Word 2007 documents with the new file format ".docx". Pages '08 can not save as ".docx" files, just ".doc" files, but since MS Office 2007 can open these ".doc" without a problem, you should be covered.
Here is how.
To open: Just double click the file and Apple's Pages '08 will import the file and open it for you to use and modify.
To save and use at your work or school's Windows MS Word 2007: When you are done and ready to save the file, go to FILE in the menu bar in Pages '08 and select EXPORT. Then pick the icon DOC WORD and click NEXT. Then in the SAVE AS box, give it a name and tell where you want to save your file to. Click EXPORT. Export is like Save, as it will now save the file where you told it to save it to. Remember you can use the same name, or give it a new name. Thats it. EASY.
It will save the file in a Windows Word format of ".doc" that MS Word 2007 can open and use.

My IPad2 will not start after pushing the home button and the sleep button. The Apple logo is on for a short time then the screen goes black.
i just wanted to know what will happen to all of my pictures and videos if i restore my ipad, i dont want to lose that stuff, also i tried to update my ipad, it tells me to plug it in to the computer and when i do, it shows on itunes its extracting the data or something like that, but it does not began the update process, after awhile it just brings up ipad device not found, and then my ipad dies so i charge and let it charge all day till night time and all that pops up is the plug in to the itunes image on my screen, so i need to know what to do, please help me.

I did it and it works for me So, I think I should share this so people who have faced the same issue as I can give it a try.
Basically, Just uninstall the Photoshop and Creative Cloud, then rename the folder SLCache to SLCache_old. Restart your computer once and then re-install everything again. (CC and PS)
It should work.

Screen flickers for a few seconds then goes blank
I have been reading these threads trying to find someone having my problem, but the popular issue seems to be with lines on the screen. Mine just goes completely blank a few seconds after start up. Any words of wisdom?
Unfortunately, the internal power supply within the AirPort Express has likely failed.
As a last resort, try a Factory Default Reset as follows:
Power off the AirPort Expess for a few minutes
Hold in the reset button, and keep holding for an additional 9-10 seconds while you simultaneously plug the Express back into power
Release the reset button and allow a full minute for the Express to restart
At this point, if the Express is operational, it will display a slow, blinking amber light.
If it doesn't....then it is time to replace the AirPort Express. -
Ipod touch will no longer sync my songs, they show up for a few seconds then disappear help

If you haven't tried it yet, I'd eliminate memory issues first. Close all of the apps with the double tap on the home button method

In app store i click on buy. The loading symbols come up for a few swconds, then nothing happens. I can get in to ibooks but can,t get any new books to display as choices,
I guess, putting it in recovery mode and restoring it "as new phone" is your only chance if you can make it. Restoring from a backup may copy corrupt files back to your phone, causing this problem.

Email showing Phone Numbers and Address for a Split Second then Disappears
Hello - I have the I-Phone 4 and am having difficulty with receiving all parts of emails for my business. On incoming emails I am able to see the numbers for only a split second before they disappear. However, if I click on where the number should be (as the screen is white in that area), it will ask if I would like to call the number.
Any ideas for fixing this issue?

My daughter was standing in a chair at the table and dropped one of her toys onto the bottom of the phone and cracked it right by the home button. (Nowhere near the LCD/digitizer flex cables, connections, or logic board components) then a few months later my phone had died, I plugged it in, it showed it was charging, then Apple logo disappeared and screen didn't work. AFTER contacting Apple about the issue and them telling me that it "is a result of the very minimal crack to the sheet of glass that has no relation to the LCD or Digitizer and that the warranty does not cover it I had taken it upon myself to change the LCD/digitizer to no avail, as well as backlight ic and backlight coil to no avail. But how do I go about letting Apple know that it is in fact NOT due to the cracked screen nor is it due to the flex cable connections? I can't. So the lady that works the call center phones trying to "convince" me that she knows what she is talking about and "convince" me that it is from the cracked screen I have to take her word because I can't show Apple that its not because of that without paying them $199 to fix the screen in which case they will just send me a new phone rather than fix the faulty hardware under warranty.

I tried replacing the screen with no luck. The same thing happened with the new screen. I replaced the backlight coil and the backlight ic and still have the issue. I don't know what else could be the problem. If the battery is completely dead and I plug it in the "charging battery" symbol shows just fine during the entire time it is charging, but as soon as it starts to boot up the apple logo shows for a split second then the screen goes black. The rest of the phone still boots up just fine. I can use SIRI, press the lock button like I'm about to use my phone and slide my thumb across where the "slide to unlock" would normally be and it will make the unlock noise just no picture display. I am pretty tech savvy when it comes to repairs and all of the connections look fine, replaced backlight coil and ic, replaced LCD/digitizer, tried a restore, tried a DFU restore, multiple hard resets, but I am at a loss as to where to go from here. I had dropped the phone and put a minor crack in the screen but the phone worked just fine for a couple months after before this started to happen. The phone is still under apple warranty but apple won't cover it because Apple is stating that it is "caused by the crack in the screen." But being a repair technician I know that is not the case... Good one apple. So I took it upon myself to try to determine the REAL problem. Anyone with a little more knowledge have any ideas? Any suggestions are appreciated!!

IPhone 3G displays apple logo for a few seconds then reboots (continuously)
Hi all,
So far my iPhone has gone from not turning at all to booting with the apple logo for a few seconds, then disappearing. My device will do this over and over again until the battery is dead. When I plug it into my computer, it works completely fine, syncs, restores, etc. The phone will remain powered on after unplugging from my computer, but my screen is unresponsive to touch and occasionally the lcd will become very dark (dimmed)
My assumption as of right now is that it is a hardware issue, any suggestions or pointers for my next steps? I'm running out of ideas before I give it up and send it to appleHello xtn,
As paulcb mentioned, try resetting the iPhone. The behavior you've mentioned would be consistent with a stuck Sleep/Power button. However, it is odd that it mounts and works OK with your computer. A physically stuck button would tend to cause the iPhone to repeatedly mount and dismount from iTunes as well.
One last thing you can try is to restore the iPhone and set it up as a new phone.
