OPen Enrollments Quetions

As I am a brand new to Open Enrollments, I have a case where I need to end date options in a plan as of 31-DEC-2012 and Activate new options as of 01-Jan-2013.
As these are mostly name changes for the options and only one option is getting distributed into 2 options from 01-Jan-2013. Apart from distributing current option into 2 options, I am contemplating to just simply rename the current options to new name from 01-Jan-2013 or Just go on and create new options with new names and make current options ineligible from 01-JAN-2013???.
My question is there a Oracle provided program that helps in mass moving of employees into new options as of 01-Jan-2013 so that if some employees have no changes to the current coverage they can continue without any benefit changes during open enrollments. Only new thing they will see is new option name.
Or the approach is to force all employees to go through Open Enrollments and enroll in correct plans?

I just finished testing out Configuration Workbench ADIs to Load Elections. What a pain!!
It will be interesting to know how can I use a rule to accomplish the task of assigning selected group of employees from an OldOption to a NewOption. As far I understand that a rule is based on a fast formula. Where does this formula goes? on a plan or program or some other way to move a group of employees on a NewOption of a Plan?
For other scenario, I changed the name of an OldOption to a NewOption as of 01-Jan-2013 but our Open Enrollments start in Nov-2012 and while in OE, it still displays the OldOption name. From 01-Jan-2013 it shows the correct name... Is this correct functionality?
Please share your thoughts.

Can't open a class with enrollments more than 140 learners

Hi Gurus,
Could anyone please help me find the correct patch for this error?
Class can't open and comes up with error when enrollments reach more than 140 learners. I examined the code being called and it shows that a function called ota_utility.get_learners_email_addresses is concatenating email address of all the learners enrolled in that class but the variable holding this value is declared as VARCHAR2(4000) which is not enough.
The error message i'm getting is:
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small
ORA-06512: at "APPS.OTA_UTILITY", line 3570
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Open button does not open image in photoshop?

Am I doing something wrong?
If I edit a CR2 file in Camera Raw 5.1, and the select the open button it does not open the image in Photoshop CS4. Is it not suppose too?

I saved the old version, just in case I had problems. So I removed the original version, and replaced it with v5.1
I did not try to open the file with Photoshop.
1. Opened bridge and viewed photos
2. Right click in bridge, and selected open with ACR
3. When Camera Raw opened, I edited photo and selected "open"
4. Photoshop opens, but with NO edited photo.
Now I have made a association in the download folder to open with Photoshop, which opens ACR first, then after editing it now works when I select open it opens in Photoshop.
If you read my last post, my quetion is "why does it not open from my method I used originally in Bridge?
I hope this is clear enough.

you can check elections made date for the life event in ben_elig_per_elctbl_chc_popl for the per_in_ler_id of open. This will tell you that the person has made explicit elections and not defaulted. and then, as you rightly said, you can check ben_prtt_Enrt_rslt_f to see the enrollments.

I also have another issue came up during trials.
I copied sub Areas, services, service group, resources, and assigned them accordingly to areas and group pages. and made changes respectively in the PCD location (application parameters: sap.xss.menuargrp etc..).
I removed the Sub Area from the Area Page. Still I am seeing some links like "Open Enrollement", "Adjustment Reason Enrollments" etc. which just refer the above Resource Keys. Where are the default values coming from? Like mentioned in one of the threads, are they coming from Client "000".

EXTRACT <fg>.

subsequent EXTRACT statement, the new extract record is added to the
dataset
EXTRACT HEADER.
When you extract the data, the record is filled with the current values of
the corresponding fields.
As soon as the system has processed the first EXTRACT statement for a
field group <fg>, the structure of the corresponding extract record in the
extract dataset is fixed. You can no longer insert new fields into the
field groups <fg> and HEADER. If you try to modify one of the field groups

I have this issue also. What I am doing is going to mailbox and to "get mail". Then it appears in the inbox. But there has to be a better way! I just posted my quetion, also.

OPENING PROBLEM

I bought today, (30/06/2015) my new phone, whose model is MLSiQTalk Crystal. I downloaded the Skype in it from the Google Play Store, but when I try to open it, it doen't react. Why is it happening?

my quetion is if i add opening 5000Dr for vendor as 5000 through opening document then in journal entry it shows:
5000 in debit side of vendor and 5000 credit in offset side
and balance in control account shows 5000
but when i add Manual JE for same vendor 5000 in debit side of vendor and 5000 in credit side of offset account its show balnace -5000 in control account

Destiny finally releases on 9/9/14 and select Best Buy stores will be opening at 12:01 a.m. that night to let you be the first to play. To help answer any questions you may have about the midnight opening process and the release in general, we’ve put together this FAQ.
Midnight Opening Questions
Q: How do I know if my local store is participating in the midnight openings for Destiny?
A: You can visit BestBuy.com/GamingEvents to find all participating locations for the Destiny release. Once you’re there, select your state to view a list of participating locations in the selected state.
Q: If I pre-ordered Destiny either in-store or for Store Pickup can I go to any Best Buy that is having a midnight opening to pick up my reserved game?
A: If you pre-ordered on BestBuy.com and your order is to be picked up at a Best Buy store it must be picked up from the location that you selected when you placed your pre-order. If you pre-ordered in-store, you will need to go to the location where your order was placed to pick up your game.
Q: Do I need to be at the midnight opening event at my location to pick up my pre-ordered copy of Destiny?
A: All pre-orders will be held for a specified number of days after launch so you do not need to attend the midnight opening. For BestBuy.com Store Pickup pre-orders, your items will be held for 8 days. For pre-orders placed in-store, your items will be held for 5 days. After those timeframes, any orders that have not been picked up will be made available for purchase to others.
Q: If I’m attending a midnight opening to pick up a pre-order, what do I need to bring with me?
A: If you placed your pre-order on BestBuy.com for Store Pickup, please bring the following:
Your government-issued photo ID
The credit or debit card used for the purchase (if a credit card was used)

Q: I didn’t pre-order a copy of Destiny. Will I be able to show up at a midnight opening and purchase one?
A: Pre-ordered copies of the game will be held and processed first during the midnight opening. Any copies still available after all pre-orders are accounted for will be made available for purchase.
Q: Will I be able to get the advertised Destiny T-Shirt if I attend a midnight opening?
A: Our midnight opening stores will have a limited number of Destiny T-Shirts for those in attendance. These will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and will only be available while supplies last. Stores will have sizes ranging from small to extra large of the shirt, but again, they are limited quantity and only available while supplies last.
General Release Questions
Q: I pre-ordered Destiny for Store Pickup. Will I receive an email when it is ready?
A: You should receive an email the day before release indicating your order is ready, but you will still need to wait until the release date of 9/9/14 to actually pick up the game.
Q: I pre-ordered the Digital Guardian Edition of Destiny. When will I receive my download?
A: The codes for the Digital Guardian Edition will begin to go out shortly after midnight CST on 9/9/14.
Q: How will I receive the Vanguard Armory pre-order bonus if I pre-ordered Destiny?
A: The codes for the Vanguard Armory pre-order bonus will be included in the packaging of the game.
Q: I am a My Best Buy member and should receive $10 in reward certificates for pre-ordering and purchasing Destiny. When should I receive this?
A: The 500 point bonus equal to $10 in reward certificates will post to your My Best Buy account within 15-20 days of the pre-order being fulfilled.
Q: There is an offer this week to get a free Gamers Club Unlocked Membership with the purchase of an Xbox One or PS4 console. Can I get this offer if I pre-ordered the Destiny PS4 Bundle?
A: If you pre-ordered this bundle and would like the free Unlocked membership, there are a couple ways to go about doing so.
If you placed your pre-order in-store with a deposit, the store should be able to add the membership to the pre-order redemption transaction.
If you pre-ordered for shipping or Store Pickup, your best option will be to fulfill your pre-order and then return and re-purchase it in-store with the Unlocked membership. This is to ensure that you still receive your $10 in reward certificates from our “Get $10” offer, provided you are a My Best Buy member, and because we are currently only able to process Unlocked membership enrollments in-store. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we aren't able to change the name associated with any pre-order. Friends and Family pickup options can also only be added to BestBuy.com orders at the time of checkout, and cannot be added once the order has been placed. You may, however, want to speak with a manager on duty at the store if you haven't already done so. While I cannot make any guarantees, they may be able to help you find an alternative solution.

Open and cancelled Quote Report

Hi,
Can anyone give me the information for getting open and cancelled Quote Report?

I hope you are using reason for rejection for cancelling quotations. If that is the case, you can use transaction VA25 to view the list of quotations. Here you can filter on two columns status and reason for rejection to view the report as per your requirement.

Find open and close smart quotes

Dear scripter,
Here I am trying find whether all the open double smart quotes(") are closed with close double smart quotes("). Here is my small work to find how many open and close quotes.

It works well, the script just alert if I have 25 open quotes and 23 close quotes

Now I want to find the quote set where the 24,25th set close quotes are missing?
Is there any way to find the misisng quotes

You'd have to look for unmatched quotes, in this case two cases of two open quotes without an intervening closed quote. This is difficult to script in CS2 because it doesn't have GREP natively and because of footnote problems. In CS3/4 it should be possible. But even then it will work only if you don't have quotes within quotes.
