Open items also show all cancelled documents

Hi Gurus,
When the business users review all open items, it also shows any associated cancelled documents (S1, S2). Is there a way to prevent cancelled documents from showing?

What do you mean by cancelled documents - closed items ???
If so, go to FBL1/3/5N and then click on Open Items instead of all items.
Or go to F-03 and clear the offsetting entries i,e if an account has 3 open line items and if 2 offset each other, you can clear the 2 items using F-03.

    Try to search with a Smart Album for photos and videos taken with an iPhone:
         File > New > Smart Album:
    Add an EXIF rule fro the "Add Rule" drop down menu: EXIF
    and set it to "Camera Model includes iPhone".
    Set the scope of the search to "Library"
    If there are any iPhone images or videos in your library at all, this search should find them.  Then ctrl-click any of the items and select "Show in Project" from the contextual menu.
    Generally, Aperture should be showing your last import in the "Last Import" smart album in the "recent" section". And the "projects" view can be sorted by date, so you should see your recent imports.
    You may want to check all search fields, if searches are active.

    The suggestion that you have provided to me, wasnt work in my current system.

    When you call clearing transactions (F-03, F-32, F-44) in Financial Accounting, the system displays fewer open items
    than when you call up the line item display (FBL3, FBL5, FBL1).
    Additional key words
    FIINCON, SAPMF05A, SAPMF05B, RFEPOS00, OI, REGUP, REGUS, FBL1, line items, F-53, F-58, FB05
    Cause and prerequisites
    Cause: Although the missing items are actually open, these are not taken into consideration in the clearing transaction
    due to other technical information in the R/3 System.
    Although it may seem so at the beginning, this is usually not about a data inconsistency (exception: BSEG-XOPVW <>
    X for open item account line items, see below).
    Solution
    Check some table fields in the missing documents using Transaction SE16. The following conditions must exist:
    BSIS-XOPVW = X (Indicator: Open item management, only for G/L accounts)
    BSEG-XOPVW = X (Indicator: Open item management)
    BSEG-AUGBL = space (clearing document number)
    BSEG-DISBN = space (discount document number)
    BKPF-BSTAT = space (document status)
    BKPF-XSTOV = space (indicator reversal flag)
    REGUS/REGUP -> see below
    Should one or more conditions not exist, please note the following information:
    1. BSEG-XOPVW <> X or BSIS-XOPVW <> X for G/L account line items:
    The line item presumably comes from a time before you activated the open item management of a G/L
    account. Documents before this master record change do not contain this technical information. Use report RFSEPA02
    if you want to bring the documents in line with the new master record. You must refer to the documentation of this
    report.
    Because there may be problems subsequently acivating open item management, RFSEPA02 was changed as
    of Release 4.5A so that it cannot be started without modifications. SAP wants to make sure you are familiar with the
    problems, which may result from activating open item management. You can however restart RFSEPA02 when you
    have deactivated the line:

    using Transaction FB02 (Change document).

    Look at table REGUS using Transaction SE16. Enter the account (KONKO) in the selection screen. If you
    selected an entry, use the information Run date (LAUFD) and Identification (LAUFI) in Transaction F110 (payment
    program). Check the status of the payment run. If only the proposal was carried out, the documents proposed for
    payment are blocked for other clearing transactions. It is only when you delete the proposal run that the items are
    taken into account again in the clearing transaction.

  • Possible to clear vendor open item against already posted payment document?

    Hi
    Can you advise if it is possible to clear an open item against already posted payment/clearing doc? Here is the background to the scenario:
    An invoice was posted with transaction FB60. This was subsequently picked up in the payment run F110 and cleared by payment document number 200005678. The item went to the bank on the paymnet file and was paid out to the vendor. The transaction reference, which appeared on the incoming bank statemnet was the payment document number 200005678.
    Subsequently it was discovered that the original invoice should have been posted with reference to a PO using MIRO. The requirement now is to reverse the paymnet documnet 200005678 in SAP, then reverse the document that was posted using FB60. After this the invoice will be posted using MIRO. This will create an open item on the vendor account.
    This item will not be piad out again. Therefore the requirement is to try clear that open item against the previously posted payment document 200005678.
    Is there any way to clear this vendor open item against the originally posted payment document 200005678?? Or any other advice on how this scenario can be handled in SAP?

    Hi,
    I tried that option in our test system. I ran FBRA and entered Paymnet Documnet Number (+Clearing Doc Number), Company Code, Fiscal Year.
    Then chose menu option Clearing -> Reset Cleared Items.
    The system pops up a window asking for a reversal reason and reversal date.  I use 01 and posting date of today.
    The system now posts another cleared document. That document places the invoice as an open item on the vendor account. It does not place the Payment Document as an open item on the account.
    When I go to F-44 only the open vendor invoice is showing there. There is no open paymnet document.
    Is there perhaps some configuration setting that stops the placement of the paymnet document as an open item when reset?

    You may need to configure AME and redefine the default approver rule. I believe the default rule 'out of the box' is approval up 10 levels of the supervisor hierarchy. If you change that action to the action that matches up to approval up 1 level of the supervisor hierarchy, I think you'll be where you want to be.

    That was very helpful, BUT:
    1. I still wish to view all open orders that have been partially invoiced
    2. I still wish to see all the Purchase Orders that have been partially invoiced and paid
    3. I finally want to see the balances for these Purchase Orders that have been partially invoiced.
    I don't seem to find the correct fields containing the information. So far all that I was able to establish is that OPOR.DocTotal is the total amount for the Purchase Order. However, OPOR.PaidToDate does not give an accurate value of what is invoiced or paid.
    I wish to add the following fields. A field showing the corresponding Invoice number for the partially invoiced order, the amount paid for that PO and the balance.

  • "Open With" menu showing all applications twice...

    When I right-click an item in Finder and choose "Open With..." from the content menu, each application is listed twice in the menu (Preview, Preview, iPhoto, iPhoto etc). It's all very neat and tidy, and choosing either works, but it's pretty annoying. Screenshot attached:
    Setup: Brand-new Retina MacBook Pro, with from-the-factory install of Mountain Lion, latest updates. No migration of content from old OS X install (I manually copied my documents to leave behind 5 years of "cruft" from earlier OS X versions). I have NO "tweaky" utilities (launchers etc.), just a clean ML install with a bunch of pretty stable apps. The only thing I *do* have that might be contributing to this is Parallels with a WIndows XP virtual machine, but even here i've been very careful to keep all the "integration" modes switched off, I run the VM isolated in it's own window with no sharing of resources etc.
    Any ideas what's causing this? Anyone know of a fix or work-around? As I said, it's cosmetic, but it's annoying and considering I worked very hard to keep a clean, lean install I'm disappointed this kind of thing has happened already

    Rebuild LaunchServices Database
    Open the Terminal application in your Utilities folder.  At the prompt paste in the following command in its entirety:
    find /System/Library/Frameworks -type f -name "lsregister" -exec {} -kill -seed -r \;
    Press RETURN.  Wait for the Terminal prompt to return after which you can quit the Terminal.

  • Open File Dialog shows all files

    I have searched the discussion boards and not found any solution to this problem. When I go to the File->Open dialog in Word, Matlab, etc, I see all files, even the hidden files. This is when "Enable" is set to filter on a certain file type. The files not matching the "Enable" filter are grayed out, but this still causes the list of files to be very long, even when only 1 or 2 files are of the right file type. Is there anyway to hide the files instead of just graying them out?

    I'm still having the same problem with 10.5.4. It is annoying to have to sort through many, many files that are grayed out just to find the one or two that a given app can actually open in the folder.

  • Open Items Count not matching in FBL3N

    Hi All,
    Kindly help with below urgent issue:
    My client is using the Bank Reconciliation process (Manual). They have done the reconciliation for the SBI bank till 10th April 2014. They are using only three accounts : Main bank, Payment  and Receipt Account.
    Now want a clarification in in the FBL3N report, when they see the Payment account.
    The issue is as follows:
    1. When the user sees the Open Items as on 10.04.2014, he can see 17 items.
    2. But when he sees All Items Posted till 10.04.2014, he can see 16 open items. Once Items less that got cleared on 24th April.
    So if it got cleared on 24th April, it should show in the Open Items also when the users tries to see All Items posted till 10th April 2014.
    I have attached all the necessary screenshots.
    Below is the user comment  " In FBL3N, If you see the GL 2000151052, in open item dated 10.04.2014, it shows 17 items. But with all item from 01.04.2014 to 10.0402014, it shows 16 items."

    Yes. You are right. All items would show all the documents that have posting date in the given range.
    Even if you create a document today with pas posting date, it would come in all items list.
    If a document is cleared on a particular day, it would come in cleared list as on that date. If you give one day before, it would show as open item.
    Technically, an item is open and cleared on clearing date.
    EG: At 10 am, item is open. You clear the item after 10 am, status would be cleared after 10. Since SAP dont track clearing time, item would be shown as cleared as on clearing date.
    Note: All items option will always show current status of the item. If you want the status as on particular date, please try open items at key date/cleared items at key date options.
    Post a doc on 15.04.14 with posting date 01.04.14, clear it on 16.04
    Open items option as on 01.04 or 15.04-Shown open
    Cleared item option as on 01.04 or 15.04- No result, as on 16.04, cleared
    All items as on 01.4 to 15.04 (Run on 15.04) -Shows Open, Run on 16.04 with same dates-Shows cleared (Current status)
    You can try posting one document and run with different options to understand better.

    In the Open dialog selecting Show all - will inconsistently open some doc's but not others. If I specify the format ( example= RTF or Word Mac 98 ) most times it will open it. All these documents work fine with every other application. What gives?

  • Pages App, is showing the titles of all my documents but icons are a black and white pages icons and the files won't open, what can I do?

    I recently updated iTunes and had several crashes on the next sync with my ipad2. Now when I open the Pages App, all my documents are shown with a black and white Pages icon, the title and date created is there but I cannot open any of the documents I created with this app, I have about 2 months of work I need to be able to open!

    It sounds like you are seeing what you should see when you are in the thumbnail view of all of the documents. If none of the files will open when you tap on them, try quitting Pages completely and then restart the iPad and try again.
    Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button

    Hi Raghuvir,
    There were critical reasons why the split of the open line items of prior years has not provided within the standard migration scenarios.
    The structure and the account assignment information of the already posted documents from the prior years is probably does not satisfy the new document splitting. Therefore it is not possible to split the documents form phase 0 (migration cockpit) based on the new the splitting rules set in the customizing.
    It is also too critical to allow a customer based split in the BAdI since it cannot be garanteed if the sum of split amounts in all the
    currencies still equal the old amount. Furthermore it cannot be traced any more where the split amounts are coming from which would lead to a problems regarding the auditability of the new g/l migration.
    The only possiblity that SAP can offer to the customers is to take over the split amounts from the already existing SL ledgers which have been used before the migration to new g/l.
    I believe that this answer your inquiry. I am sorry that I cannot give you a more positive answer regarding your issue.
