When opening my Outlook 2010 with new added e-mail account with Exchange Server supplied by my employer, I have to click manually on my standard e-mail account for checking mail. Do I have to upgrade my Microsoft Office 2010 or how can I make my Outlook
2010 check all my four e-mail accounts without manually click on my accounts?
    Sincerely

    Hello Ketil,
    Good Day...
Seems to be the Issue is Syncing emails, now I would recommend you to Remove and Add the Account and try and check if the emails are getting synced automatically.
Hope this is with Single User. If it is with Multiple Users then we need to check the permissions assigned.

Cannot Start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook Window. The set fo folders cannot be opened. You must connect to Microsoft Exchange with the current profile before you can synchronize your folders with your Outlook data file (.ost)
OK. This is a new outlook setup on a laptop. The mail account is on a MS Exchange Server 2010. The user can log on to their laptop no problem with their AD login and password. To setup the outlook profile we have checked the name OK. When we click finish
and try to start outlook we get the above error message. It is driving me pots as I have tried also of things. I have tried to connect without catching the files. The error message then says that the Exchange Server is down, yet we checked the name OK and
I can log on to the MS Exchange server and see the setup.
What else is it that I need to look at as I have tried everything. I will add that they one service I see not running is the Exchange RPC service. If I try to start it, it fails saying Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services
    or programs.
    What can I do?

The major cause of this problem is a corrupted Navigation Pane settings file – profilename.xml, where “profilename” is the name of your Outlook profile. A good sign that the
file is corrupted is when the size of the file is shown 0 KB. No one knows the precise reason why this takes place, but all versions of Outlook from 2003 to 2013 may get affected.
Other causes may be when you run Outlook in the compatibility mode, or if you are using a profile generated in an older Outlook version, or if the Outlook data file (.pst or .ost)
was removed or damaged as the result of faulty uninstallation or reinstallation of MS Outlook.
Follow the steps given below to resolve this problem
    1. Recover Navigation Pane configuration file
    2. Repair your Outlook PST file using Inbox Repair tool
    3. Create a new Outlook profil and import data from the old PST file
    4. Turn off Compatibility Mode
    5. Start Outlook in Safe Mode

  • Event created for SharePoint Calendar opened in Outlook, not showing in SP

I have a SharePoint 2013 Enterprise calendar list that I have "open in outlook"
In Outlook 2013, in the opened SharePoint calendar, I create a few events.   None of them show up in the SharePoint list , they only remain visible in my Outlook Calendar. I had users report this problem to me when we were still using SharePoint
2007, I had hope this error had been fixed... but I shouldn't be surprised to see that it's still happening.
How can this be fixed? I have users who are depending upon this SharePoint calendar to be accurate. I have no way of knowing that evetns created in Outlook are failing to show in SharePoint.  Help please

    Hi Vince,
According to your description, my understanding is that the event made in Outlook don’t sync to SharePoint site’s calendar.
Please try to use the ScanPST program to repaire the SharePoint PST file, compare the result.
More information, please refer to the link:

    I hope this helps.

  • PDF documents not opening in Outlook 2010

I have a problem AFTER doing an update from ADOBE...I can't open a PDF that is attached to an e-mail. I can open it when OUTSIDE of Outlook. I have sent attachments to clients only to have them say there is NO attachment or they cannot open it. I have had a similar issue 6 months ago and had to revert back to the one that worked. I thought "OK" try again maybe in that 6 months they "FIXED" it...Nope! How do I fix this?????

    Hi Lisa ,
I would request you to have a look at the following document and see if that helps.

  • "Internal Error Occurred" appears when .pdf is opened from Outlook 2010 email

"Internal Error Occurred" appears when .pdf is opened from Outlook 2010 email
I am absolutely pulling out my hair over this one!!
    PC/Win 7 64bit/Adobe XI/Office 2010
I have tried Uninstalling and re-installing
I have tried using an adobe software removal tool
I have tried modifying the security settings in reader
I've tried running repair on MS Office
If you open the .pdf from an email directly, it opens Reader with the error "Internal Error Occurred"
If you drag and drop the .pdf onto the desktop, and then open it, it opens.
If you open Adobe Reader FIRST, then open the .pdf from the email, it opens fine.
ONLY when you open a .pdf from an email with Adobe Reader closed (so Outlook is asking AR to open first, and then present the .pdf) is it behaving this way.
Hypothesis: Outlook 2010 does not like to open Adobe Reader.
SO....tell me all of you brilliant geniuses? How do I solve this puzzle and become an end user's hero?
PS: WorkAround - the only work around I have found for this at present, is that the user first opens up Adobe Reader and lets it run in the background. I pinned the shortcut to his task bar to remind him.

I have uninstalled Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and installed Adobe Reader XI and everything works fine. This will be our current fix until a solution is found for the above error

  • Acrobat Connect Pro 7.5 will not open MS Outlook 2010

I have recently updated my OS to Windows 7. Acrobat Connect Pro 7.5 will not open MS Outlook 2010 with the preformatted email message after submitting via the Email Invitations button. MS Internet Explorer 8.0 goes to a blank page. Is there a compatibility issue with Acrobat Connect Pro 7.5, MS Outlook 2010, and/or Windows 7?

its been running for months, with no problem what so ever
You were running a non-Intel version on an Intel Mac. You might not have run into problems before but it was only a matter of time. You cannot run an old version and then install brand new versions of ProKit and QuickTime - it will just break.
So you can either reinstall everything from scratch and then just keep it as it is without ever installing software updates, or you can upgrade to FCP 7. I recommend the latter.

Outlook acts as if I am pressing a dummy button.

    Hi friends,
    I have the same problem.
    Mountain Lion + Office 2011 + Safari 6.1.2 (8537.74.9)
It is not clear to me what is the relation between Safari and this problem.
I have Chrome installed as well and it is set as default browser. Is this involved?
If yes how can I solve the problem?
    Please let me know.
    Many thanks.

wat should be done to resolve it?

    Hi,
Can you download the attachment to local and open it? Does other types of attachment have this issue?
    Please check the following settings:
Go to File -> Options -> Trust Center -> Trust Center Settings -> Attachment Handling -> Make sure "Turn off attachment Preview" is not selected -> Click "Attachment and Document Previewers" button -> Make sure "Microsoft
Excel previewer" is selected -> OK -> OK -> OK.

It's recommended to download and install
Configuration Analyzer Tool (OffCAT), which is developed by Microsoft Support teams. Once the tool is installed, you can run it at any time to scan for hundreds of known issues in Office

  • Voice mail will open in Outlook 2010. The form region "UmOutllokAddinRA" cannot be opened.

I'm running Exchange Server 2007, Outlook 2010 and Lync 2010.
Unified Messaging is enabled. When a voice mail is left, the voice mail is delivered to my Inbox, but the message will not open. I get the error "The form region "UmOutllokAddinRA" cannot be opened. Outlook will use the default form instead."
If I have the Conversation History Add-in for Microsoft Lync 2010 enabled, I also get the error "The form region "IPM.Note.Microsoft.Missed.Voice.Region" cannot be opened. Outlook will use the default form instead." Disabling the
    add-in clears the error.
Uninstalling Lync did not help so I'm not sure if that is the issue or not. I've tried reinstalling Outlook and Lync to no success.
    Any thoughts?

I  am getting the same thing with Exchange Server 2010, Outlook 2010, and Lync 2010.
It appears to be a client side error.
Anyone have any ideas on this?

  • Mailto links are not working. How do I set mailto: links to open in Outlook?

mailto: links used to open in Outlook. Then they began opening Gmail, so I uninstalled the Google Toolbar. Now mailto: links do nothing when I click on them. I've tried deleting the mimeTypes.rdf as recommended by [http://kb.mozillazine.org/File_types_and_download_actions#Resetting_download_actions File types and download actions]. I also see that my mailto: is set to Outlook as shown by my [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Changing%20the%20e-mail%20program%20used%20by%20Firefox#w_setting-firefoxs-mail-client Applications setting], but the links are still not working, even though they work in IE. Ideas?

''I found entries having to do with the Google Toolbar which I no longer have. I guess the entries are left even after the Toolbar is uninstalled?''
'''Will_T''', You are correct. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Changing_the_mail_program_used_in_Firefox#Extension_issues
The [http://www.google.com/tools/firefox/toolbar/ Google Toolbar for Firefox] includes a [http://www.google.com/support/toolbar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=34800 "Send with Gmail" feature] that changes the mail program used in Firefox to Gmail, regardless of what is set in Firefox options or your system default mail program. It is recommended that you do not select the "Send with Gmail" option in the Google Toolbar. Firefox already has a "Use Gmail" option available by default in the Applications listing for mailto actions. More importantly, uninstalling the Google Toolbar extension with the "Send with Gmail" feature enabled may leave you with Firefox opening nothing at all for mailto links. You can resolve this issue by resetting the Firefox user preference '''network.protocol-handler.external.mailto''' to the default "true" value in [[about:config]]. See [[Resetting preferences]] for details. <br>'''Note: the Google Toolbar is no longer supported by Google''' for Firefox 5 and up.
