Open next page to continue content of expanding textbox

Hi All.
In my form I have table where one of cell has Subform1 that include flowed Subform2 with Textbox1. I would like when content of textbox comletelly full in one page automatically will open next page to continue content of that textbox. But now when I fill Textbox1 on first page I didn't see second page to continue type text.I checked for Subform2 and Textbox1 Allow Page Breaks within Content and also Textbox1 checked Allow Multiple Lines and for height Expand to fit. How to fix that problem?

I switched to the latest Yahoo! mail, so I don't know whether we have the same setup. However, it seems to work normally for me. This is what happens:
I click a message in the Inbox, and it opens in the same Firefox tab with an in-page "tab" appearing to the right of the Contacts button. When I start selecting from the top of the message down, holding the left mouse button down and dragging past the bottom of the page, it scrolls all the way to the bottom normally.
Can you describe what's happening for you in a little more detail? Is the problem that when you drag down to the bottom of the part of the page you can see, the page doesn't scroll up automatically the way mine does? Do you have this problem on other long pages, or only in Yahoo mail?
Also, could you test this workaround (it works for me). Select to the end using the 3-step approach: 
(1) select the ''beginning'' of the text/pictures in the usual way, 
(2) use the mouse wheel or scroll bar to scroll down and end of the text you want to select (don't click anywhere in the page while you do this), 
(3) hold down the Shift key and click where you want to end the selection, and Firefox should extend your existing the selection to that point.

How to get header row to flow to next page with table content?

I am setting up a dynamic form with a series of question/answer tables.
Example:
Header (Text): List your accomplishments for the year.
Row 1 (Text Field): Associate types their response to the question above.
If I type enough text in the response that it flows down to a second page, both the header AND the response box drop down to the second page....ultimately leaving a big white space on Page 1. I would like for the header to flow to the next page, but only with the 'extra' text that didn't fit on page 1...not ALL of the text.
Is this possible?

I am doing exactly that. My issues is that, VO attribute is passed correct for the table rows which are fetched from the database. For the table rows which got created through 'Add Another button', the VO attribute passed through URI as {@FdTaskId} is returning null. The VO attribute sets only when a form submit happens. For example, after adding a row through 'Add another row' button, click the same button again to add one more row and now go back to previously added row and now you can see that its VO attribute is set ({@FdTaskId} carries value )

N8 - When trying to open web page I get content.bi...

All of a sudden, when I open the browser and try to open a web page - any web page - I get a message "content.bin, file saved". Then I get content(1).bin, content(2).bin and so on. What is this? Tried a restart, didn't help.

RDLC - Group Header Continued on next page...

I have a requirment in RDLC, if the group rows exceeds more than one page, I need to add a content at the bottom of page and next page first row, like below

Hi Nava,
In your case, I think that we can try to implement another solution to deal with this issue. For example, we can reset the page number based on group and add some information on the page header.

How to print second page as continuation of First Page.

Hello,
I am printing a script. I want to print next page as continuation of first page.
I am printing some contents. It is overflowing the first page, But remaining contents are not appearing at
Next page.
How to print that.

Hi,
If the text doesn't fit in page, the it will be printed in the next page.
If it is one line or two line by increasing the length of the window, you can accomodate.But if it more than than then its not possible to print in the same page.
If you dont want to get the text truncated then just use PROTECT and ENDPROTECT command in order to protect the text.
Then the whole text will be printed either in First Page or Second page depending on the amout of text.

SmartForms: Trigger NEXT page in a loop Not in MAIN Window?

Thanks for all of your responses. I know understand that my list I am creating in my loop does not trigger to NEXT page because it is not in my MAIN Window.
I am a little leary of moving this non MAIN window logic into my MAIN window, because I finally got everything looking pretty good, except for this issue. So, does anybody know of a way to trigger NEXT page to continue writing in a NON-MAIN window to a NEXT page?
As I am writing this I am thinking that I may be able to put a command inside the non MAIN window to go to NEXT page? Any suggestions, it must be possible somehow.

The page to which you want to branch must exist. you can branch to a new page only as long as you are still displaying the contents of a main window.

Make Textfield Flow To Next Page

Hello,
I am new to Adobe LiveCycle and my new form is coming along well but one big spot I am lost and confused on is allowing the textfield that contains alot of text force things to drop down to the next page and continue to show. Right now after it goes over to many words, the box cuts off and doesn't show full text. Everything is pushing down and flowing perfect except to next page functionality.

Smartforms text doesnt appear next page

hi all,
I have an text which flows from the main window to subsequent pages. but while i execute on the print preview it shows 5 pages. but i am unable to scroll nor look for the next pages on the print preview.
I have even used shift + f11 to go to the next page. but the contents are not displayed. How to look for the contents in the next page in the print preview?

in print preview you just have to use the "Page Next" button.

Pages 5 Document Endnotes doesn't allow text continuation onto next page?

For large blocks of endnote citations, Pages 5 doesn't all the text to flow down to the end of the page before going to the next. Rather it treats the endnote text area as its own section, thereby moving the entire text box to the next page. This is problematic from a formatting standpoint because it wastes page space, does anyone have a workaround or suggestions?
Example:
Citation 5 is long but I would like to keep it on the same page as Citation 4 and just let the text continue onto the next page. However Pages 5 doesn't allow me to adjust the endnote text box and just jumps to the next page. Rarely do you see endnotes arranged in this manner in high-level research reports and we can't have this.

I exported a PDF from Pages v5.2.2. This uses Apple's Quartz PDFContext, not Quark.
In Windows 7, I opened this PDF with Adobe Acrobat Reader v11.0.09. I then copied/pasted a paragraph of this PDF content into LibreOffice Writer (v4.3.2.2). Since there was Baskerville in Windows 7, this comment pasted correctly including font-size. I did not have to make any adjustments to LO to accept this text.
On Ubuntu Linux 14.04, with the latest updates, I opened the same PDF in Evince, the default PDF viewer. Adobe does not offer an Acrobat Reader download for Linux. Again, I copied and pasted a paragraph of content from the PDF viewer into LibreOffice Writer. As there was no Baskerville installed, Writer defaulted to the Liberation font, at the correct point size.
In either of these platform scenarios, there were no anomalies with sentence/paragraph newlines .vs. carriage return issues from the PDF document during copy/paste operations. These were default control-v pastes that did not use the Paste Special menu item in LibreOffice.

How to have a text box expand to next page

I already got the text field to expand after i am able to type but when I go to preview the field does not flow to the next page. It hides behind the content I have on page two. How do I get the text field to push the content below it when it expands?

The main content area needs to be set to flowed.
If you want your content to push down as you enter text it needs to be a subform

Repeating frame(s) not continuing to next page

Here is what I have:
grp 1 r-frame 1
grp2 r-frame 2
grp3 r-frame 3
grp4 r-frame 4
r-frame 5
r-frame 6
r-frame 7
grp1 r-frame 1 will not continue to the next page when I have multiple grp3
r-frame3 records (there will be 1 record for 1 of the frames under that, the others are suppressed). grp 4 has page protect and contract, grp3, grp2 and grp1 has page protect and variable. I am trying everything to get it to continue to the next page and it won't. The example is it will produce only 12 of the grp3 and underlying records when there are 36 grp3 records. Is it something really stupid that I am missing or can I get a couple of hints as to why?

Hi,
I tried to understand your question and you want to continue grp-3 to next page, and you are expecting to print one grp-4 on each page along with 1,2 and 3.
The way you set the properties look fine. but what I can suggest is:
Please set all frames properties to "Vertical Elasticity to Expand" and "Page Protect to NO".
Now start setting the two properties as you like from child (most detailed) frame to top most parent frame and keep checking output for every change.

What to do when report content span to the next page?

Hi gurus,
I have a report with its content extending to the next page. If
i expand my main frame to the next page, the upper half of the
second page is empty. Only the lower half is filled. I tried
changing the "Verical Elasticity" from Variable to Expand. But
gives an error "FRM-1814 Report cannot be formatted.
Object 'vertically' can never fit within 'R_INVOLVED'". The
report does not have any object with name 'vertically'
and 'R_INVOLVED' is a frame within the basic main frame

But R_INVOLVED frame is already set with 'Expand' Vertical
property.
Initially R_INVOLVED also had the same problem when its property
was set to 'Variable'. It was okay when i changed it
to 'Expand'. But i couldn't do the same to the main Frame.

Expandable field pushes bottom subform to next page

I setup my dynamic pdf like the example given: ExpandableCommentSection.pdf
but the middlesubform which is my expandable comment section..pushes the bottomsubform to the next page...instead of bottomsubform appearing right under middlesubform without a large space!
Help, what could be wrong?

The field should be in a position subform that's wrapped in a flowed subform and make sure the Allow page breaks within content is selected
