Open Orders data in Sales Overview Cube

Hi All,
I am using Sales Overview cube to store all the Orders(inclucing Open orders), Deliveries and billing data. I am using seperate ODSs(for all the infosources) to store both the header and item level data for some reporting requirements.
But I am very confused how the cube gonna store the data of open orders i.e if we are loading data on monday and we got Order 100 as open order. But on tuesday the order was completley processed and it is no longer an open order. So what will happen when I load data on tuesday. How does the changes to Order 100 reflect in the cube?
Any help would be highly appreciated and rewarded!!!
Best Regards,
Nene.

hi Nene
All orders where delivery qty is less than Order qty are open orders
All the orders which appear in the transaction V.15 in R/3 are Backorders
Execute the transaction after giving sales order, dist chan and division
All orders with document type RE are returns
Suggestion :
1. Create a restriction in ur queries with document types = OR,,,, other order types( Not RE..see last )and and Order qty < dly qty for open orders
2. You can extract data from V.15 into a BW customised table and check the entries to identify the backorders
Routine in update rule may help to distinguish backorders
3. You can use filter to identify the items returned from the customers
    For document type = RE
Assign points if useful

  • Open Orders Data Sources & Cube

Hello Experts. I want to know if I can use business content data(2lis_11 /12/13 etc.) sources for cube 0SD_C03 for calculating open orders?
Also should I create a new cube or will I be able to get results from 0SD_C03?
For my open orders, I want to see:
1.sales orders or the deliveries, which are not billed
2.deliveries which are not goods issued
3.sales order which are confirmed, but not delivered
    4. Or any other type of open order.
    Thanks in advance.
Points will be rewarded for all helpful answers.

    Hello Janet,
just check this link, this SAP's BI content. You'll find here lots of SAP provided ready to use queries, some of them based on sales overview cube.

  • Open Order Reporting in Sales in BI70

    Hello,
Did anybody implement sales open orders quantity and value in BI 70.
I am trying to get open orders based on delivery status and delivery date.
I have to track partial open orders also. Currently I am using 2LIS_12_VCITM and 2LIS_11_VASCL to get the deliveries and schedule lines but I am not getting any sales orders into the DSO with 2LIS_11_VASCL as extractor.
Any help will be rewarded generously.
    Thanks

    Hi Arun,
I got this to work and I suppose you also got this to work as it's been a while Anyways, if you still need information on this let me know and I can send you a document on how I implemented it.
    Thanks,

  • Should Fiscal Year be derived from posting date for sales stat cube

    Greetings,
Is it common to derive FY from posting date of the invoice for the sales stat cube.  We have the standard SAP datasource 0UC_SALES_STATS_02 to extract billing information from ECC.  On the BI side, the FY is derived from posting date in the transformation before it reaches the target (i.e. cube).  Is this derivation common
Thank you in advance for your response.
    Behnaz

    Hi,
You can derive the Fiscal Year from the posting period and it not uncommon to see this.

  • Delta load error in quantity of sales overview cube 0sd_c03

    Hi All,
The quantity(0quant_b) is fetching properly for full upload. But when delta load is done 0quant_b is not fetching correctly.
    For example,
quantity was changed from 100 to 120 for an order. When delta is run, only 100 is uploaded instead of 120. In PSA it is showing 120. If a full upload is run it is fetching 120.
I was wondering what could be the reason for a mismatch. I would really appreciate for any clues provided.
    Thanks,
    Jerry

    Hi Jerry,
    Please understand the following:
If you have the initial quantity in the R/3 system as 100 and this is loaded to the BW system in the your model(PSA then Infocube) there is no mechanism in your model where in delta can be handled.
The quantity is now changed to 120 in R/3 side now you are expecting this to be captured into the InfoCube which in your model is not possible.
The reason is that in BW the delta handling will be as follows(taking your example):
100 is the initial quantity and this will be flown in to the target with no issues.
Now the quantity is changed to 120 in R/3 side, this will be flown till PSA as 120 itself.
But a field called ROCANCEL will be populated as New record.
This should be mapped to the field RECCORDMODE in DSO on which the delta will be captured.
where I mean to say DSO is mandatory in between. In DSO as I told in the previous post the delta handling will be done as the (new image - before image), in your case it is 120 -100 = 20.
As the property of the InfoCube is addition this 20 will get summed up in to the InfoCube making the quantity 120.
If there is no DSO in between this record will not be considered in the Infocube so you will be left with 100.
Hope this explains your query in detail.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Vishnu

  • Data reconciliation for Open Orders in SD

    Hi,
Can any one give me a step by step approach for doing the data reconciliation for open orders in the Sales Infocube.
    Regds
    tanu

    Hi Tanu,
    Reconcilation:
Reconcilation is the process of comparing the data after it is transferred to the BW system with the source system. The procedure to do reconcilation is either you can check the data from the SE16 if the data is coming from a particular table only or if the datasource is any std datasource then the data is coming from the many tables in that scenario what I used to do ask the R/3 consultant to report on that particular selections and used to get the data in the excel sheet and then used to reconcile with the data in BW . If you are familiar with the reports of R/3 then you are good to go meaning you need not be dependant on the R/3 consultant ( its better to know which reports to run to check the data ).
I will give you a scenario to help you understand it better. Lets say BW extracts FI data from R/3. To make sure that all the records has been extracted from R/3 we can create a report in R/3 which will show the year-to-date balance of all the documents posted and we can create a BEx query on the BW cube which will also display the trial balnce. Any difference between the two balance will identify the records missing from R/3.
Similary you can model other scenarios as per your requirement. If you are extracting from 2 or more different sources from R/3 then create a multicube on top of the individual cube and produce the report. You need to also create a similar report in R/3 as well.
    check this How to Doc:

    Hope this helps.

  • Data reconciliation for Open Orders

    Hi,
Can any one give me the step by step approach for data reconciliation for open orders in Sales Infocube. I understand that the Open Orders which are dynamic Key figures and the data reconciliation in this case is not straight forward using "Generic View data sources"  and we need to program our own generic data source with a funciton module. I would like to know if any one has dealt with this specific case and give me the proceudure to do the same.

    Hi
    Refer this
    Data Reconciliation
You can compare periodic R/3 reports relevant to open orders with values in the cube and reports

  • How to get the open order quantity for a material

    Hi All,
We need to get the open order quantity for materials. At present we are using the following logic...
    SELECT VBAKVBELN VBAPPOSNR VBAP~KWMENG
        INTO TABLE IT_VBAP
      FROM VBAP
INNER JOIN VBAK ON VBAKVBELN   = VBAPVBELN
INNER JOIN VAPMA ON VAPMAVBELN = VBAPVBELN
                      AND VAPMAPOSNR = VBAPPOSNR
INNER JOIN VBUP ON VBUPVBELN = VBAPVBELN
                     AND VBUPPOSNR = VBAPPOSNR
    WHERE VAPMA~MATNR = IT_OUTPUT-MATNR
       AND VAPMA~WERKS = IT_OUTPUT-WERKS
        AND VBAK~AUART  IN S_AUART
         AND VBUP~GBSTA NE 'C'.
But the Query takes quite a long time as it does a full range scan on all the tables. Is there any way the query can be improved, may be by creating an index etc? Or is there anyother way by which i can get the required data?
    Any input is appreciated.
    Regards
    Brain.

  • Open Orders not being picked up

    Hi All,
I am implementing 2LIS_11_V_ITM to extract the open orders data into BW. I have implemented all the flow and trying to check the extraction using RSA3. I have deleted the setup tables using LBWG and filled them up using oLI7Bw. but when I run the RSA3 it is not returning any records. From which tables does the extractor picks the open orders data? How can I check if there are any open orders??
    Thanks,
    RPk.

    hey rajesh,
You have to fill the set-up tables before to check in RSA3.
Now you can use transaction OLIIBW to carry out a reconstruction for orders using different order categories or OLISBW to execute a reconstruction for service messages/requests (and to fill setup tables, where RSA3 takes data from).
    Pls go thru the steps:
    LO-EXTRACTION
    • T-Code: LBWE
    • First we need to check which data source suits the client's
    requirements in LBWE.
    • Check whether it is in Active version/Modified version. If it is
in M version go to RSA5 and select our data source and press on
Transfer. Then go to RSA6 and see whether the datsource is been
    transferred.
    • If the datasource is already in active version then we need to
check whether the datsource is already extracting data in to BW.
    • If the datasource is extracting the data then we need to check the
data existence in Setup tables (use SE11 to check the setup tables
data. For every extract structure one and only one setup table is
generated whose technical name is Extract structure name+ setup, for
eg. If extract structure name is MC11VAOHDR then set up tables name
is MC11VAOHDRSETUP) and Extraction Queue (LBWQ) and Update tables
(SM13) and Delta Queue (RSA7). If data exists in any of these T-
codes we need to decide whether we need the data in BW or not. If we
need the extract it as we do in LO-Extraction below. I f we don't
    need delete the data.
The dataflow from R/3 into BW:
    • We nee to generate the extract structure by selecting the fields
from the communication structure in LBWE.
    • Generate the datasource and select the selection fields,
cancellation fields, hide fields that we want.
    • Replicate it into BW. Then we need to attach Info source(Transfer
rules/communication structure) to the datasource. We got 3 methods
    to attach the infosource..
    1) Business content:: Business content automatically proposes the
transfer rules and communication structure, we don't have to do
    anything manually.
    2) Application proposal: Here too proposal is done but some objects
will be missing which we need to assign in the transfer rules.
    3) Others: here we need to create the transfer structure, rules,
    comm. Strct from the scratch.
    • Modeling like infocube, Infosurce attachment,….
    • Then activate the extract structure.
    • We need to fill the setup tables for the first time loading. In
filling the setup tables we can select between Full load and delta
    initialization loads.
    Filling Set up table:
    T Code : SBIW
    Settings for Application-Specific DataSources (PI)->Logistics--
    >Managing Extract Structures>Initialization>Filling in the Setup
Table -->Application-Specific Setup of Statistical Data --> in that
Youcan perform the Setup (Example : SD-Sales Orders - Perform Setup)
and execute .. or else direct T Code : OLIBW ( means based on your
application like sales order/billing/ purchase etc)• For setup
tables T-Code is OLI*BW where * equals to application number like 02
    fro purchasing,08 for shipment…..
    • First we need to decide whether we want delta loads to be
performed in the future. If we want to do delta loads, then we need
to go for Delta Initialization process or else do full load.
    • When we perform setup tables extraction, since setup tables are
cluster tables, we can't see the data in the setup tables. So we go
for Extractor checker (RSA3) just to see the setup tables data
    (full/delta initialization).
    • Then create infopackage and select Full or Delta initialization in
    Update tab and schedule it.
    • Delete the setup tables data by using LBWG.
    • Now we need to do delta loads.
    • Delta load data flow differs with various delta update methods. We
got 3 delta update methods as u know.
    • If we select "Queued Delta"update method then the data moves to
Extraction queue(LBWQ). Then run Collective update to move the data
from LBWQ into Delta Queue (RSA7). Then schedule the data using the
infopackage by selecting Delta Load in the update tab.
    • If we select "Direct delta" then the delta data moves into RSA7
    directly.
    • If we select "Unserialized V3" method then the data goes
into "Update tables(SM13)", then run Collective update to move the
data from SM13 into RSA7. Schedule the data using infopackage.
    • If we click on Maintenance, we can generate the extract structure.
    • If we click on 2LIS_02_CGR button, then we we can generate data
    source
    • Inactive under Update column: we can make a extract structure as
    active or inactive.
    • If we click on Job control button the we can maintain the
collective update parameters like, start time, and is it hourly once
    or dialy once ……
    • If we click on Queued delta button under Update mode then we can
select among 3 delta update methods.
Only Full/Delta initialization data loads only moves into setup
tables. Delta load data doesn't move into setup tables.
**RSA3 contains only setup table's data
Only Delta update data moves into RSA7/LBWQ/SM13 no full/delta
    initialization loads data.
$$ Assign points dude if if really helps you $$
    Hope it helps!

  • 0SD_C03 Sales Overview and Vendor Information

    Hello,
I am using BI 2004s with Business Content 3.5.  I would like to create a sales report such as sales by vendor.  I am using the Sales Overview cube 0SD_C03 and tried to use the vendor information as an attribute from the material characteristic in this cube but the vendor information is empty.  I am told by our consultant that this is because it is not part of standard business content.
My question is: Is there any other way to get Sales (billings) by vendor?  What have other people used to get Sales by vendor.  Have they just made a change to standard business content to include Vendor information?
    Thanks.

    Hi
The best option in this case in enhancing the business content by adding the required field Vendor and populating the related values
Before that you can check in R/3 whether any standard reports are there which lists of Sales by vendor. If such a report exists, you can just replicate the report to complete your task
    One suggestion
Please check the following report in R/3 ..S_ALR_87014367. whether is fit for your requirement or search some other reports
    Assign points if useful

  • MMBE - Open order quatity

on the stock overview report, i want to know what the column open order quantity represents...

    Hello,
Open order qty in stock overview displays the total qty of that order which has been ordered in purchase orders(s) and not yet delivered.
Suppose we order have 3 purchase orders for 200, 300 & 500 qty of a particular material and we have received 150, 200 & 480 qty for each POs respectively.
So when we execute MMBE, it will show 170 qty [(200-150)(300-200)(500-480)] as open order qty.
You can see the open purchase orders by selecting, a particular line (plant or storage location) and go to extras - open purchase orders (Shift + F2) or you can use t.code ME2M with selection parameter as WE101.
To remove a particular purchase order qty from open order qy, or open PO list, you can tick the 'delivery completed' indicator in PO-Item details - delivery tab.

  • Open Sales order data

    Hi,
Can any one please help on identifying the table used for retrieving Open sales order data for a particular period, My requirement is to take the Volume of open sales order for Data migration volume assessment

    hello, friend.
a standard transaction is VA05 or VA05n to check on open orders.
if you need to check the database tables, you can check sales order status/header thru table VBUK.  for item level, use VBUP.  you will find fields such as reference status, delivery status, etc.
    regards.

  • Credit card Open sales order data migration

    Hi All,
My query for today is to know your experiences as to how to handle legacy data migration to SAP for Open transactions having credit card information. I mean in legacy we have Open orders with credit card information and some of them are approved, or rejected or in a yet to receive a response stage. What is the best practice to migrate these open orders. Should we reauthorize these orders? Similarly, if you can tell me about Open Invoices and Open A/ru2019s.
    Thanks
