Open outlook with new message containing attachment

Hey!
I using forms 6 and try to build a proc for the task of openning an outlook + a message (for 1 or more receivers) , including an attachment file.
note: it should be sent manualy by the user. the task is only to produce a new message + attachment.
i've try to do it with WIN_API_ENVIRONMENT.Read_Registry, for openning the outlook and win_api_shell.winexec, for the message + attachment.
now , the message oppening task is done propperly , but yet , without the attachment.
(it dident work when i try to attach it localy , or through network)
i'm working on 9i , windows xp.

One further question, if I may: in Panther (which is where I've aggregated nearly 7 years of mail), if you copy more than one file in the Finder, switch to Mail, and paste the files into a new message, only the file names paste in. If you copy one file and paste it into a Mail message, you get the file, not just the name. Is that still true, or has that (IMHO) bug been fixed since 10.3.9?

Problems with new message alert on home screen (No...

Not sure if this problem is specific to the Nokia X6 but this is really annoying me! I have contacted Nokia through their form as well as speaking to an advisor...
Basically, when your phone has been auto-locked, is there a way other than the ridiculous little light flashing once to alert you to a new message? I often have my phone on silent during the day and can’t see this little white light (notification light/menu button). On my previous phone, the whole main screen used to light up when I received a text but I can't find a way to do that on the X6....
I thought I had found a quick fix as it seems to do it if the screen is unlocked then the backlight will go off, however, then the auto-lock kicks in and I’m back to square one again!! Please can anyone advise me on either:
1) If there is a way for the main screen to light up when you receive a message if your phone has been locked (i.e. black screen)
2) Or if not, a way to turn off the auto keyguard lock?
It’s gonna drive me completely round the twist if I can’t find a solution!

In answer to the original question, you can change the settings for the noification light under Menu>Settings>Notification light, but there is no way to make the screen light up when locked - the phone is behaving as it is designed to behave.
In answer to the second issue with the incoming notification stopping altogether, if the factory settings reset has not solved the issue then you can try reformatting the device using the code *#7370#, make a backup with Ovi Suite before doing so but leave out 'Settings' from the backup.
If the phone contains thousands of SMS messages, this could cause or at least contribute to issues in some phones.
Please note: Users of Symbian^3 devices should not use device reformatting as a general troubleshooting method, but in older S60 devices like the X6 described here you should not experience any issues as a result.

Issue with new Message Editor

I have come across some awkward behavior with new Discussion Forums message editor.
Previously, if you wanted to add a smiley, or a link or image, when you clicked the button aboved the edit window, those features behaved more like a menu drop down or had a dialog box. With the new editor, those features come up in a separate window. Using IE6.0 at work, the new behavior is pretty similar to the way it worked before. However, using IE7.0 at home, these come up as separate tabs within IE. So instead of getting a small menu dropdown or dialog box to select a smiley, a new IE tab gets created that is mostly blank except for the smileys. Insert an image, a whole new IE tab comes up where you fill in the lines such as the URL to the image.
I like the older method of it behaving like a menu drop down or dialog box, it is awkward how in IE7, these come up as separate tabs in IExplorer.

Block - in the sense 1) Mark like item with deletion so that further documents cannot be created.
2) PR item not yet released.
Blocking also be considered marking item as Closed [MEREQ3321-EBAKZ].
Your requirement differs the selection of table to be selected get data. Please check.

HT5395 iMessage will only open by clicking "New Message"

The app works fine. I am able to send and receive messages through iMessage. Before, I was able to click on my iMessage icon and it would open the app, and I would be able to see unread or even read messages. Now, I have to click on "New Message" for it to open the application.
I am running Mavericks 10.9.2. is there any troubleshooting available?

There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
You may have installed the "Genieo" or "InstallMac" ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it.
Back up all data before making any changes.
Besides the files listed in the linked support article, you may also need to remove this file in the same way:
~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.genieo.completer.ltvbit.plist
If there are other items with a name that includes "Genieo" or "genieo" alongside any of those you find, remove them as well.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, then you may have one of the other kinds of adware covered by the support article. Follow the rest of the instructions in the article.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. Chances are you got it from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad would probably have included a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. The button is designed to confuse people who intend to download something else on the same page. If you ever download a file that isn't obviously what you expected, delete it immediately.
In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
Still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
Install system data files and security updates
if it's not already checked.

Upon opening Outlook 2003 get message "Not closed properly. File is being checked for erros."

You need to figure out why Outlook is not closing property. The usual culprits are addins that access Outlook data.
Are you closing outlook before shutting down windows? If you let windows shut it down, you can corrupt the pst.
Does it work better in Safe mode? To open Outlook in Safe mode: Close Outlook then hold Ctrl as you click on the Outlook icon. You'll get a message asking if you want to start in Safe mode. Click Ok.

Open JApplet with new java plugin ??

how do i make them work in different jvm

Entourage default opening at compose new message

It seems since upgrading to Mavericks that when I open the Entourage mail application, the program seems to always default to Compose a new message window. This is not how it used to be. I could simply open Entourage and view my folders and main window panel. If I selected new mesage, only then would the compose email panel appear.
I have looked through the entourage preferences and cannot identify which option is causing this occur and then how I can turn it off.
I am using Entourage for Mac 2008.
Any ideas?

I recently upgraded to Mavericks and I am using Entourage for Mac 2008 as well. The exact same thing is happening to me. Extremely annoying. Upon opening Entourage it goes straight to opening compose new mail message window. Searched through preferences for an option to turn this off and there is nothing referring to this.
What to do. Hopefully microsoft will identify this glitch and send out an update to fix.
In the mean time it looks like we will just have to close this annoying window each time you want to simply read your emails.........

Problem with new message after creating a note

Has anyone else had this behavior in Mail 3? It happens to me quite frequently- the problem goes like this:
Create a new note
Hit done on the new note to save it
Then, when trying to create a new message, nothing happens. I can hit the button all day and nothing happens.
Next, upon quitting mail, I see all of these drafts show up and when I restart Mail, there are as many blank drafts as times I tried to create a new message.
I've sent a bug report. It doesn't happen all the time but it has happened a lot to me.

I have this same problem. I had not bothered to track down its root cause, but I do (rarely) use the Notes feature in Mail, so that may well be what triggers this annoying behavior.

Help setting up Open DNS with new airport extreme

I cant seem to get Open DNS to work with a new airport extreme. The status says I am not using Open DNS and its not filtering anything. I have followed the exact steps for set up listed on their website, checked the dns settings, cleared both caches and restarted the computer, modem and router with no success. I set the airport up in bridged mode, although I tried the other option under setup, but not sure what I was doing? I picked up this router because I wanted easy set up and the apple store assured me it would work with Open DNS. Oh, and I also downloaded the latest firmware update on the router. Can anyone help me with the settings or what else I need to check?

I found that your device is mentioned as follows in the intro under Section 1 of this document:
The BellSouth supplied Westell 2100, 2200 and 6100 models (Models A90-210030-04, B90-220030-04, and B90-610030-06/C90-610030-06, respectively) share many features and functions.
Next, I am referring to the information under Section 2, under the heading of Standard Default Mode Connection (separate hub or switch present). Unless you have changed the configuration on the Westell, this is how your device is operating. In this mode, the Westell device is acting both as a modem and router in one unit.
So, an attached router (AirPort Extreme) must be configured as a switch to work correctly. That is what Bridge Mode is....the AirPort Extreme is operating as a switch when it is in Bridge Mode (which would be the correct setting to use when the Westell is set to its Standard Default Mode).
Any changes that you want to make regarding DNS settings would need to be made on the Westell device, since it is acting as the main router on your network.
In Bridge Mode, the AirPort Extreme simply passes that information through to its connected devices. You will not be able to make any DNS related changes on the AirPort Extreme since it receives that info from the Westel device. Some service providers force you to use their DNS servers, so you might want to check with Bell South or AT&T for more information in this regard.
If you want to be able to configure the AirPort Extreme as the main router on your network, and instruct it to use the DNS information that you want, you will need to refer to the section under the heading of Bridged Ethernet Mode ( separate router present).
Please note that the first item under this heading specifies that "This is the preferred configuration when using a separate external router..." (which would be the AirPort Extreme in your case)
So, it appears to me that this would be the way that you must reconfigure the Westell device to allow the AirPort Extreme to function as the "main" router on your network. In this type of setup, you will be able to enter the DNS information that you want to use under the setup for the AirPort Extreme and it will act as you instruct.
The AirPort Extreme would not be configured in Bridge Mode for this....it would be configured to "Share a public IP address".
The next item in the article specifies that you "Must use a PPPoE client on the Router." This means that the AirPort Extreme would be configured to Connect Using = PPPoE as follows:

Click the Internet icon
Click the Internet Connection tab
Connect Using = PPPoE
You would enter your user name (probably your email address), password, etc in this area. Leave the Service Area box completely blank. Set Connection to Always On, and Disconnect if Idle to Never
Click Update to save the new settings. Power off the Westell device after this and then restart it so that it will pick up the new information that you have programmed into the AirPort Extreme.
I want to stress that this is how I would try to configure the Westell and AirPort Extreme. But, as I said, have not used a Westell device, so I cannot say that this will work correctly for you.
It might be an excellent idea to contact Bell South or AT&T Support to ask for their opinion on this before you decide to change the configuration of the Westel device and the AirPort Extreme.
This type of thing can be intimidating for users, so you might elect to use the services of someone like the Geek Squad at Best Buy, or a similar service from a local computer firm. Perhaps the Apple store could help as well.
If it is not critical that you use Open DNS, you might want to simply leave things "as is", with the AirPort Extreme in Bridge Mode.

Can't Open Files with new version 7.55.90.70

Just updated old Quicktime version 5 to 7.55.90.70. Now I get an error message when I try to open my Encyclopedia Britannica program that says "Quicktime is missing or incorrectly installed". It tells me to reinstall Quicktime from the Britannica installation CD. When I tried that, a message appears that a newer version of Quicktime has been installed and the CD can't reinstall version 5. So, it appears that the new version won't let me open the program unless I uninstall the new version and go back to the old version. That doesn't make sense. The new version 7.55.90.70 ought to support programs that used the old version. I have tried the fixes offered to repair the installed Quicktime with no positive result. Can someone provide advice? Thanks.
