I'm using a plugin to do editing outside of LR. Is there a way to add a feature request that the Copy File Options would remember my settings? Every time I choose to edit I have to reset the options.
Save an external editing preset under a name, in the copy file Options dialog. This name appears in the Edit In.. menu and can be accessed directly from e.g. the Filmstrip by right-clicking on an image.
You can have many presets giving variations of bitdepth and colourspace, for different program executables.

  • 64 bit Third party imaging

We are needing to deploy Windows 7 64 bit and to do this we will need to use
    a 64 bit WinPE image.
We have setup Third party imaging and uploaded a 64 bit WinPE image and 64
bit imagex.exe. However when zenworktodo.exe is launched it errors because
it is a 32 bit application. (WOW64 does not exist in PE). This seems a
little odd. So my question: Does ZCM have a 64 bit zenworktodo.exe?
We are using ZCM 10.2.2 on OES2.

    Yesterday it worked.
    Today it is not working.
    Windows is like that.

Let me know how you get on.

According to the Microsoft documentation to install a 64 bit os you have to
    use a 64 bit WinPE:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...93(WS.10).aspx under
    Limitations.
I have not tested it was just following what I found. I guess it would be
possible to apply a 64 bit wim from a 32 bit PE. I will be testing that
shortly. As our current thought for a workaround is to create a hard drive
image with ZCM that has Winpe 64 booting. Once WinPE is loaded into memory
it will wipe the disk and install the OS across the network. This however
looks like it loses the ZCM image safe data, though we are still working on
    that.

    Hi Bryon,
We're pushing Novell for both x86/x64 native WinPE support with x64 versions
of ZENworkToDo. This is something they need to do.
In the meantime, provided you're only imaging using imagex to capture/apply
a Windows 7 x64 image, you should be able to do this with WinPE x86 which is
    compatible with ZENworkToDo.
Is there a specific reason why you need to boot WinPE x64?
    Regards,
    Heath.

  • Third Party ADF Application

    Hi,
I want to create third party ADF Application from Project server 2010 Database. I have Project Server 2010 as a SQL Server Database.
I want to create Timesheet Application in ADF and read and write data to Project server 2010 (SQL Server Database).
Anybody has any suggestion how I can achieve this?

You should be able to access SQL Server databases from ADF using regular ADF BC see:
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/jdev/multidatabaseapp-085183.html
Depending on what APIs and interfaces Project server 2010 exposes (things like web services etc) - there might be other ways.

  • DST changes impact on third party java applications

Currently we are running the following versions...
    O\S Windows Server 2003
    JRE 1.4.2_11
    JDK 1.4.2_11
Should the JRE \ JDK be patched with tzupdater utility in case of running the third party java application?

You don't have to apply tzupdater tool.
Already JDK1.4.2.11 have the updated DST Time Zone Entries.

  • Integrate SAP BI with third party Java application

I want to display reports from SAP BI to third party java application. I have found many javadocs, but have not found any document that helps with this problem.

    Not much information provided.
    BO Version?
    Reports in question?
There are different set of SDKs for different reports. Also there might be changes in the API's between different BO products.
As suggested by Jawahar, its better if you post your query to SDK forum for better response as it is the dedicated forum for BusinessObjects Java SDK queries.

  • Third party image viewer wanted

My company don't want to invest manpower in developing a good and stable image viewer. Can anyone suggest a good third party solution to present pictures (tiff, jpg etc...) and maybe other documents in a viewer component. I couldn't find a good comparsion of the available tools...
    Thanks in advance.

An Acrobat specific user forum may not be the optimal place to ask about the why-n-whatfore of a third party software.
Perhaps the application you are using has a vendor support site or user community?

  • Open hub Destinations - Third-Party Tools As Destinations

Dear all, below is the SAP Help process flow steps. I am quiet clear of all the steps except the APIs. Where do we define these APIs? When it says "You use API RSB_API_OHS_DEST_SETPARAMS to define the parameters for the third-party tool that are required for the extraction" where do I use it? Is it in the 3rd party tool? or is it in SAP BI.
If it is in 3rd party tool, where in 3rd party tool. Do I need to write as code ? or would I have an option in the 3rd party tool?
If someone can help me with Microsoft connector using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Integration Services packages to SAP BI that would be helpful.
Where in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Integration Services packages can I use/put this APIs? Any help Plzz
If it is in SAP BI where in SAP BI do I have to use these APIs? Any help is highly appreciated
    Regards,
    KK
    Process Flow:
Extraction to the third-party tool can be executed as follows:
           1.      You define an open hub destination with Third-Party Tool as the destination type.
           2.      You create an RFC destination for your third-party tool and enter it in the definition of the open hub destination.
           3.      You use API RSB_API_OHS_DEST_SETPARAMS to define the parameters for the third-party tool that are required for the extraction.
           4.      You either start extraction immediately or include it in a process chain. You can also start this process chain from the third-party tool using process chain API RSPC_API_CHAIN_START. The extraction process then writes the data to a database table in the BI system.
           5.      When the extraction process is finished, the system sends a notification to the third-party tool using API RSB_API_OHS_3RDPARTY_NOTIFY.
           6.      The extracted data is read by API RSB_API_OHS_DEST_READ_DATA.
           7.      The status of the extraction is transferred to the monitor by API RSB_API_OHS_REQUEST_SETSTATUS.

It's been a along time since i worked with open hub, but here goes:
The Third Party tool needs parameters or switches to work correctly. Think of the old DOS commanda the  "/a" "/b" suffix.
The APIs are simply a way to pass these parameters from the BW source to the Third Party target.
If your tool does not need them, don't worry about them.

    dear all,
can any one guide me as to how data(master data in particular) from bw can be transferred to oracle data base using open hub destiantion.is rfc connection between bw and third part tool enough,do we have to maintain the same structure in third party tool before executing DTP and how can this be done??
i am now able to transfer data from bw into a flat file and also to data base (bw) and not aware of the this functionality-third party tool .any light thrown on this area is welcome and points will be awarded ,

  • Calling IPC from a third party web application

    ISA, IPC experts,
We have CRM 4.0 with IPC 4.0. We are developing an in house web application  in jsp/java for dealer orders. Our office staff uses CRM Online for Order Entry.
We want to use the existing pricing procedures in the IPC to derive the pricing for the web project so our user can see the price for a given product prior to placing the order in CRM.
How can we call IPC from a third party order software in java? prefereably without installing a standalone IPC (heard that IPC 5.0 may not support standalone mode)?
Can you help us with ways to call the IPC from our in house web application, or point us to some documentation about the ipc client layer?
Your help in this regard is highly appreciated.
    Yanhui Yu

    Hi Yanjui,
if you have a CRM installation, an IPC is part of that installation. Connect your web application to that IPC. The IPC comes with its own web applications, which base on a package com.sap.spc.remote.client.object. These are APIs that you might consider using in your web application. The package should be documented with the API docs that come with your web apps, but I'm not sure about how this is delivered (sorry).
Concerning upgradability to CRM 5.0: The IPC there does not come as its own server anymore, but offers ABAP RFC functions that are actually implemented in Java using new Netweaver technology. The 5.0 RFCs are similar, but not identical to the old IPC commands / RFCs, so an upgrade is no problem, but some changes are required. The same applies for com.sap.spc.remote.client.object, which has changed a bit as a result of the changes in the IPC APIs below.
Alternatively to using com.sap.spc.remote.client.object, you might also try to directly call the RFC functions of the IPC server. Finding out what the various parameters that you have to pass do is not too tricky:
    - in your IPC installation, a file <ipc>/lib/properties/servercommands.xml contains all RFCs that the IPC knows.
    - for the RFC you want to use check the respective javaname in that file.
    - for that javaname check class com.sap.spc.remote.server.command.<javaname> in the javadoc API Documentation that is part of your IPC installation. This will contain rather technical details on how to call the RFCs.
Please be aware that it's not an easy job providing all the data that IPC needs to do pricing.
I would recommend using the E-Commerce application which has done this job for you already.
    Best regards,
    Karlheinz

  • HOW COULD CONNECT FROM SAP SYSTEM TO THIRD PARTY JAVA APPLICATION

    HI expects,
HOW COULD CONNECT FROM SAP SYSTEM TO THIRD PARTY JAVA or . DET APPLICATION.please provide me some scenarios and documents.please help me.

    Hi,
In the sender side i.e. in SAP system you can use IDoc/RFC/Proxy to push the data to XI.
IDoc supports only Async communication and in Sync case performace is good using Proxy.
In the receiver side you can use Java Proxy to connect to the Java application or you can even bulid a webservice over the Java/.Net application and use SOAP adapter to post data to it.
    Thanks

  • Unable to open files from 3rd party websites/applications

    Hi all,
My new macbook arrived with QT 7.0.4, I used it perfectly for a week with no problem, but now after carrying out a 'software upgrade' via system preferences to QT 7.1.1 I now find that Quicktime will not open hardly anything!!!! Not bad considering Apples information at the download window states that 7.1.1 was implemented to fix bugs that prevented QT from opening files in 3rd party applications. Whats going on?.......
In the mean time I've had to carry out a system reboot to go back to QT 7.0.4 and now its back to how it should be. What version of Quicktime 7 am I going to have to wait for before this issue if rectified?
    Cheers

  • Firefox does not open links from third party applications correctly

    Hello,
I have problem with my Firefox Developer Edition. The browser does not open links correctly. If I click on some link e.g. in Thunderbird Firefox open only blank (default) window. No target of given link. Has anyone an idea how to solve this issue?
    Thank you

Have a look and see if SPDY is enabled. Enter about:config in the address window and spdy in the search window. If "network.http.spdy.enabled" is true, double click on the entry to disable it.

  • Third party imaging question

Is there a way to use the lite touch installations using the deploymentshare? I want to do this so that I can follow the MS deployment docs for adding drivers and using the unattended installs without having to rebuild images. Has anyone thought of or tried this?
    I found that I actually could do this by moving <deploymentshare>\ Boot\Lite_TouchPE_x86.wim to c:\program files\windows aik\tools\petools\x86\
Then upload Lite_Touch_x86.wim form that location so that the ZCM winpe.wim uploader can find the other files it wants.
Then rename Lite_Touch_x86.wim to win winpe.wim in %progfiles%\novell\zenworks\share\tftp\boot\
the only problem is that I cant set any zisdata like "justimaged=true"
anyone? I would really like to use the official MS deployment stuff the way it's meant to be used.

Ok, asked around a little. As my sources tell me Novell is looking at implementing this in the 11 series, but the actual when depends on which other requests are open and how they are prioritised. You can shoot in an enhancement request to add your prio to it. Don't expect to see an option for this before 11.1.
In the meantime there are ways to do this using ZCM with the deployment tools. There are slides that can be found, one source being here : (sorry, many of this is in Dutch - but the screenshots and English bits might give the needed details) : Windows 7 deployment with ZCM
There is also an updated presentation from BrainShare (Amsterdam) that I can send you along with some tools that enable you to deploy Windows 7 with ZCM using the Microsoft WIAK tools. If interested, PM me (it's a newer version than found on internet).
Don't know all the ins and outs of this just jet as I'll be digging into this the next month.. but from what I've seen, only using WIAK and ZCM + the guidelines in the docs how to use the add-on images correctly.. this gives a very solid way to deploy without the need for all kinds of extras or having to touch the base image with every change.
