Open PO (field EKPO-ELIKZ)

Hi all.. this is my first post threat trying to "see the light"...
Imagine this scenario, please...
PO with 10 units
GR with 7 units
Then, this position in the PO, the Deliv.completed flag is marked... Right here, all ok.. But, if I'm making again a new GR regarding this PO position, system lets me make it !!!! but the PO was completed, wasn't it? so.. field EKPO-ELIKZ doesn't work in order to know if you can post new GR for the same PO positions.. the way to ensure this, is to block the PO position... right or not?
I have to make a report to inform about completed positions not matching quantities, but I realized that with field EKPO-ELIKZ = 'X' system is able to make new GR...

Welcome to SDN forum.
That's why we calculate the actual qty's of all GR's from MSEG table(for All PO items) and equate the EKPO Qty (PO item qty's) and see whether the PO is open or not without considering the field ELIKZ.
So if POqty = GR QTy then only it is closed.

Hello Gurus,

I have a problem wherein i have to set the delivery completion in Delivery tab of item details for a list of purchase orders with specific error message.
I can acheive the above using a BDC but beforehand i want to know is there any function module or BAPI to set the delivery completion indicator(EKPO-ELIKZ)?

You can use the t-code Mass and sel;ect the object as BUS2012,in that object select the field EKPO--ELIKZ

Problem In Enhacing field EKPO - BRTWR and EKPO-MWSKZ

I want to enhace two fields ekpo-brtwr and ekpo-mwskz for Purchasing data source 2lis_02_itm .BUt Datasource dosnt contain field value not even as hidden filed.
I tried to direct entry by structure maintain for that two fields but its not allowing me ...
give any solution to Enhace these fields .

It will not allow to enter this fields directly
Do following steps
double click the data source in Rsa6
double click the extractstructure name
this will open Extractstructure in Data Dictionary
Click on append structure button
Give a name to append structure
This will create a new struture
Enter the New fields u want to Append
like ZZBRTWR give reference of ZZWAERS in currency/quantity fields tab
ZZWAERS
ZZMWSKZ
Now you need to Code in exit to populate fields using CMOD or BADI

Open Qty Field in Outbound Delivery

Hi All,
I would appreciate any assistance that you could offer on this issue.
It is concerning the little known 'Open Qty' field in the outbound delivery.
The business process here is to create outbound deliveries, which are then continually added to as and when stock becomes available.
The Open Qty field should display the open qty from the sales order line, which includes the qty just delivered.
So for example, a user attempts to add several lines to an existing outbound delivery (ie outbound delivery > deliver sales order).
The user would then compare the qty delivered against the Open Qty - if they match then ok. If the qty delivered is less than the open qty, then the user would delete this line as they are only interested in delivering the full qty.
However the 'Open Qty' is not working as expected. Eg if open qty on sales order is 2000. But qty delivered is only 1500, the open qty would = 1500. This is incorrect. After the user saves the deliver and then re-checks he would see qty delivered = 1500 and Open Qty = 2000, so then he would know that the full qty was not delivered.
This business has just migrated from 4.6c (where this field behaved correctly) to ECC 6.0.

use this way.
Delivery qty - LIPS-LFIMG.
order qty - VBAP-KWMENG.
open qty = delivery qty - order qty.

Open the field purchase document number in vendor invoice

Hi,
I've to open the purchase document number field in the vendor invoice transaction (FB60) for the reconciliation vendor account?
I've done these operations in customizing:
- set the field purchase order in the Field status group like optional
- set the tield purchase order in the posting key control (31 and 21)
Could you suggest me how to open the field?

Can you please provide me the solution for this as I too am facing a similar problem. While posting an entry using FB01/F-43, for posting key 31(Vendor Invoice), despite making Purchasing Document field optional in field status group of the posting key as well as Reconciliation (GL) Account, the Purchasing Document field is not appearing.

I.M NOW USING THE BAPI "BAPI_PO_CHANGE" TO REALIZE CHANGING PO order batchly,when the user modifies the EKPO-MENGE AND LET IT EQUAL TO THE SUM OF EKET-WEMNG,THE PROGRAME WILL SET 'EKPO-ELIKZ' = 'X'.
BUT WHEN IT DOES,THE SYSTEM GIVES THE FOLLOWING ERROR MESSAGES: THE ITEM 0010 STILL HAS A WRONG SCHEDULE LINE AND THE ITEM 0010 ORDER 5800012450 HAS BEEN FINISHED.

Maybe you should check the data.
To allow the PO to be set Delivery Completed, certain condition must be met.
However, in your case, I assume this condition does not met so it will cause error.
If you set EKPO-ELIKZ to 'X', that means you set the PO status to delivery completed.

Negative amount in the open deliveries field

Hi All
Iu2019ve also come across a negative amount in the open deliveries field on the business partners master data screen but there are no open deliveries no orange arrow to click on and it's grayed out for this selected business partner could anybody help with how to fix this issue.

How to open hidden field in PO

Hi,
How to open hidden field info record as edit mode and delete. initially we used info records now we are not using info records, some of the po's already captured info record numbers now when we try to close this PO its hitting error message info record doent exist. when i see in table i can find record number but actually this record was deleted now how to put back hidden field to edit mode and delete this info record.

Hi,
If the PO was created against that Info record you cannot just open up the field and delete the Info record reference. There is integration between the two records and if you look at the previous POs on a non-deleted info record you will see the link that way too.
So you cannot break the link like this.
Surely you didn't physically delete the info records? They should have been flagged as deleted and if that was not enough then they should have been archived (in which case you shouldn't be getting this mnessage).
Have you tried changing the message from an error to a warning (or nothing)? I doubt if this will work for the same reasons as above but it would be worth trying first.

Next. The error indicates that the report is created off of TTX files. If the SP above does to help, please specify the type of connection used in the report. Also, the OS and is it 32 or 64 bit OS?

Open location field has disappeared

The open location field in the Safari browser has disappeared. The open location command is not available (grey). Can anyone tell me what to do. I have already downloaded and reinstalled Safari. Thanks.

I have the requirement to open the field: EXBWR (External amount in local currency) in MIGO when we post GR from production order. I try to check in standard configuration but I did not see that filed for movement type 101.
Optional requirement is open the field: hard currency ( We already activate material ledger). We would like to enter hard currency too if it can be done by standard system.

I am sorry, but I am afraid I must confirm that the 'influencing fields'
functionality is not available for transaction MIGO.
Please, kindly refer to the attached note:
329334 - MIGO field selection: not all settings possible,
which, in its last paragraph states the following:
"The option for defining dependencies of the field selection is not
   supported by Transaction MIGO."

Opening the "Field Explorer"

Dear All,
This may be a silly question, but still I am caught in this.
While the report file (.rpt) is open, I use F5 to run the VB dot Net program. That time, the Field Explorer opens up. Other times, it is not visible. I like to open the "Field Explorer" for making the changes in the Layout of the Report.
I searched all the menus, still I could not get the same open. Is there any shortcut key for it?

Hello Naren,
You didn't post which version of Visual Studios you are using. In VS2003 the Field Explorer can be enabled by going to View > Other Windows > Document Outline. I don't remember if this the same in newer versions but it's probably similar.

BAPI for PURCHASE ORDER with OPEN QUANTITY field

Hi All,
I wanted to use the BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL to get the Purchase Order details upon triggering from Warehouse management system,
But the details required contains a field called OPEN QUANTITY...which is not used in this BAPI.
I request to let me know if any BAPI exits for PO details having the structure for this field:Open Quantity.
Am using SAP version 4.0B.
If not exists please advise how to customize the existing BAPI to meet the requirement.

Hi,
Open quantity is a calculated field. I guess the BAPI gives the details of the delivery, so take the ordered qty and substract the delivered qty from that.
Delivery data is EKET table.

   could any one let me know if there is any table and field that stores teh value of the open quantity in deliery.suppose say for a partcular sales order there were N number of delivery made and when N+1 th delivery is done i want to make validation say want to compare teh delivery quantity entered with the open item(the items tht are pending to be delivered as per the sales order).For this i want to know the field and the table in which the open item(the pending delivery item for the sales order ) is stored.

If partial delievry is allowed in the system, then multiple deliveries may exist for each sales order.
Using the sales order and item number as the key, you can get the delivery quiantities for each of those partial deliveries.
