how can I take this details. what and all tables I need to look to conver order unit to base unit of measurement .

I am having a requirement wherein i have to insert multiple line items in purchase order idoc based on quatity .Eg if the line item qty is 3 then the same line item has to be repated for 3 times and purchase order idoc has to created with 3 line items.I am trying to do this User exit EXIT_SAPLEINM_002 which is used Customer Enhancements to Data Segments: Purchasing Document (Outbound ).Can anybody tell me how can i go ahead inserting multiple lineitems in purchase order idoc based on the qty.So, Can anybody know how to handle this scenario? Also, can you please let me know whether is there any standard procedure for handling this scenario

1. How can i know the particular PO i relevent to GR or not.
2. If it is relevent to GR then how do i know GR done/created or not.
3. At the same time Invoice receipt also.

To prepare the Open PO report:
Take all the purchase order details from EKKO and EKPO tables by writing a JOIN based on the selection screen paramters:(into ITAB)
Then fetch the related GR and GI data from the table MSEG for each PO Item (using for all entries of ITAB passing EBELn and EBELP to MSEG).
Here based on the movement type you have to consider the GR or GI.
generally for 101 movement types it is fresh GR(goods receipt).
so in this table MSEG you have many entries with different movement types for each PO items, so summing up the correct quanitities(ERFMG) for GR and other s is importants.So from ITAB you know the PO qty for a particular PO and from MSEG you know the qty received(GR QTY), if the both qty's are equal then that order is closed, if bothe qty's are not equal then that order is OPEN.
Fetch the invoice related data from EKBE or RSEG tablse passing EBELN and EBELP fields for them.
GR dat is in MSEG
and Invoice data is in EKBE or RSEG.

Open Purchase Orders at Retail Value
Hi
I need to show Open Purchase Orders at Retail Value in one of my reports and I am using the key figure - "Open Purchase Orders (Retail Price) - 0RTOPDVSV".
I am using this KF in the cube ZRT_STWK which is part of a multiprovider. Data to this cube is being pulled from 2LIS_03_BF. I couldn't find a probable field in ECC to which I can map the field 0RTOPDVSV in the cube.
Any idea what the likely field could be in ECC which I can map to the key figure 0RTOPDVSV?

PURCHASE ORDER HAS BEEN PREPARED IN JANUARY, DOWN PAYMENT IS MADE IN THE MONTH OF MARCH, MATERIAL IS RECEIVED (GRN MADE) IN AUGUST
IN ABOVE CASE WHEN I GENERATE A OPEN PURCHASE ORDER REPORT AS ON 31.03.2008 IT IS NOT SHOWING ME THE QUANTITY & VALUE DETAILS OF OPEN PURCHASE ORDERS.

Then enter other required detail and click on execute button.
So system give you list of open purchase order.
Then click on change layout button.
Transfer Still to be invoiced (qty) field Column Set to Display column set mode.
And click on continua button.
Duse to this field you can track for how many quantity good receipt is created of purchase order.

Report with open Purchase orders and open Goods Receipt (without invoices)
Dear All,
We require a report in purchasing which will show:
1. open purchase orders
2. open goods receipts
We do not want POs and GRs that have been created into invoices to be included in the report.
At the moment we tried ME2N with RECHNUNG in selection parameters but it includes invoices. We have tried other selection parameters and reports but the results are not helpful.
I have also checked SDN but there is no correct answer. Most of them specify the ME2N with RECHNUNG as a solution but this does not work for us.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello All,
Anyone know how I can get the list of Open Purchase orders?
Currently we are pulling all those POs with the following characteristics:
PO item where
all schedules have received qty zero.
Open Schedules (EKET) - Dont want fully or partially received
Received Quantity (wemng) = zero
The performance is not the greatest.
Just curious to know how others are arriving at the list of Open Purchase Orders.
Ideas / Thoughts???

Can you please more specific
1) Normally in subcontracting if ur PO is open then it means that still the assembly stock is with vendor
2) in some case if the vendor consumes more components/qty than the original BOM qty in the received
Finished Goods then you need to do subsequent adjustments
3) If u dont have any assembly components in hand for issuing the same to vendor then adjust the PO qty and close it

You can use the Service PO scenario.
Service PO is used to Procure/ Avail the Services. you can create the service PO ( having account Assignment Category 'K' and item Category 'D' for services) which has the validity period.
at item overview level, you have to specify the Material /Service info in Short text.
At Item Detail level, you will have the service tab. Depending on your indent (as and when it comes) you can enter the service item with its unit cost and qty.
Later on, once you physically received the Material/Service, then using transaction ML81N you can accept the service. which in turn post your GR Document.

Urgent :Doubt on open Purchase orders

i will be more help full if anybody can help me on below issue how to find open PO and partially open PO.
Only open purchase orders will be extracted for conversion into Destination Server. An open purchase order is defined as any unshipped, non-cancelled with open quantities. In regards to, partially open purchase orders, we will only convert open units (i.e. Original ordered qty was 300; 70 have shipped, 230 remain open Target Server sales order will have an original order qty of 230).
also where to find that Sub Contracting orders and Sample orders.
Orders not considered for migration because they will have either shipped in full or deleted prior to data migration as a part of data clean-up: ALL subcontracting orders; sample orders
please help me on the above two issues.

First take the ALL Po's from EKKO and EKPO tables and check for the different GR's and GI's qty's from MKPF and MSEG tables and you have to compare the PO qty with the total GR/GI qty's and to find the OPEN po's

Hi all,
I want to close all open purchase order . MEMASSPO transaction doesnt allow me to close partial open POS ie PO is of 10 QTY & I received 5 qty .Remaining 5 QTY. there are around 1000 PO's are like that .
Going into me22 & delivery completed tick, I can do it manually .but its very hectic due to large no of PO's. Can I write a BDC for that ? I have a doubt whether that BDC will work properly or not because In each PO line Item Nos are different. which item is received completly & which not this is also to be considered.

AtulHi,
you can uses BAPIs instead of BDC. You can get details of PO from BAPI BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL1 and then change it using BAPI_PO_CHANGE. Both BAPIs have table POITEM with field NO_MORE_GR. This field corresponds to your flag. So you can easily see which items has not this flag set and then easily set this flag.
