Open Tabs do not seem to be working

Hi All,
For some reason iCloud on my MBP is not picking up 'open tab' on my iPhone, can anyone help?

What do you mean by "nulls the foreign key"? That's a CMP field (or equiv
for BMP) that is a foreign key to another table in the database? And that
foreign key has an integrity constraint on it?
So you remove the row from one table and null the reference to that row in
the other and you think that is all being done in one tx but the database
raises an error on the constraint, right? Have you tried this outside of
Java/EJB ... just in some SQL access window or something to verify that it
works at all? (Just in case ....)
Secondly, verify that both EJBs are using the same connection (=transaction
in this case).

Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
Let us know if that helps or not, or any other problems.

You have tried restarting, right? Also, try holding the home and sleep/wake buttons together for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. See if that helps. If it doesn't and you think this is a hardware problem, taking it into the Apple Store is your best bet.

"Item Help Subscription" does not seem to be working

I am on APEX 4.0.1. and trying to use the feature "Item Help Subscription" which does not seem to be working.
Here is what I have done.
-> Created a forms page (page 2) that has an item 'P2_NAME'. Define the "Help Text" for that item.
-> Created another forms page (page 3) that has an item called 'P3_CUST_NAME'.
-> In Page Definition for Page 3, Clicked on 'Edit All' icon under 'Items'
-> Clicked 'Utilities' and selected 'Item Help Subscriptions'
-> For Item 'P3_CUST_NAME', clicked on the LOV under 'Subscribe To' field and selected 'P2_NAME'
However when I am clicking on 'Apply Changes' to save the changes, it is not getting saved. The 'Subscribe To' field appears blank even after applying changes.
What I want to know is - is it a bug or have I missed something ? Is anyone using this feature successfully ?
Any pointers or help will be highly appreciated.

I had created Item Help Subscription that you had mentioned.
But I don't have any problem with this. It creates successfully.

just checked everything through and this is deffinately the public beta of iCloud as it simlily doesnt come up in the settings of ipad or iphone. However the current firmware i am using isnt an itunes download, as i have downgraded and all itunes synced apps onto both the iPad and iphone crash when i open them, is this because i have downloaded the firmware from a third party? i have treble checked that the firmware is NOT hacked and is just a host's official apple firmware, so i cannot understand why this problem is occuring?

When you plug in earphones, or anything in the audio output port, it should be reflected in SYSTEM PREFERENCES>SOUND. If not, try a PRAM reset.

Open tabs are not on tab strip. Have to click on List All Tabs button to find tabs. Tabs used to display on tab strip and stopped doing this. Suggestions?

Been using Firefox for years, running Windows XP. This morning when I opened pages in another tab, did not see them on tab strip. Only way to find them is to click on List All Tabs Button and it shows list. Cannot get them to display on tab strip. If I open in another window, it works, like it should. If I click on plus sign on tab strip it opens another tab, but can't see the previous ones except with List All Tabs Button. Any suggestions on how to turn tab strip back on? Thanks, jayem33

If it works in a new window then you can drags tabs from the not working window to that new window.
You can also try to close the tabs via Ctrl+W and restore the closed tabs via Shift+Ctrl+T

HT5500 The facebook app stays installed and it's greyed out. When I go to redown load it from itunes, it just has an open tab and not a install tab. help

After I upgraded tothe IOS 6 operating system on my iphone 3GS I lost several of my apps. They don't show up anymore. I tried to reinstall them again using itunes, but they just show an "open" tab instead of an "install" tab. When I click open, it brings up the app. I can't figure out how to install the app on my phone again. Help....When I look at my phone the apps are there under settings but not on the phone as an app.

Look at the various screens on your iPhone, the app is there somewhere. Don't forget to also look in folders.

Place of newly opened tabs is not logical (not put to the end of row)

When I have more tabs opened (for example 5) and I click a link with the middle mouse-button NOT on the last tab (for example on the 2nd one) Firefox does not put the newly opened tab to the end of the row, it is inserted right after the clicked page (newly opened tab is inserted between 2 existing tabs). Previous Firefox versions did always put the newly opened tabs to the end. How could it be set in case of 3.6.10?

A couple of options. You can use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/61766/ New Tabs at the End] add-on. A second option is to change a hidden preference.

The new gestures in Lion do not seem to be working. Mac OS X 10.7.3) Is there some extra step that is needed

While the rest of the updated Lion has installed flawlessly, the new gestures just do not seem to work, particularly going from the full screen Safari to the full screeen Mail apps.
Is some additional step required?

If you're using the Magic Trackpad, all of the gestures should work. Check your System Preferences to verify that they are all turned on.
They're all working for me.

Firefox Home only shows my open tabs but not my bookmarks

Since you last updated the firefox home application for iphone. My bookmarks have disappeared and it only shows my open tabs from other computers. I try to refresh but after some "thinking time, the application crashes.

When updating to version 36, if you are updating from more than two versions before, the session file structure changed in your profile. This is now in sessionstore-backups folder. However this should not affect if updating from 35.
Are these also greyed out:
Recently Closed Tabs & Recently Closed Windows
It is greyed out "either due to:
* your startup setting ([[Startup, home page and download settings]])
* Firefox recovering from a crash during shutdown, or
* a user.js file overriding your normal startup setting (your system info doesn't show the third file, so I think we can rule that out)"
For future times that this may happen, the add on: session-manager is a nice backup to have.
