I would get rid of the intego "VirusBarrier" software - it's likely what's causing your kernel panics.

I have Windows OS. I downloaded Firefox yesterday. Every time I open the Firefox browser, it starts in safe mode. I have restarted my machine several times -- Firefox still starts in Safe Mode. My favorites from IE copied to Firefox fine, and Firefox is now my default browser...it just keeps opening in Safe Mode.
I downloaded the toolbar. When I was done using the computer, I put it to "sleep." The next time I "woke" the computer and went to Firefox, the toolbar was gone. When I downloaded the toolbar again, I got a box in the upper left hand corner of the screen stating Firefox BLOCKED the toolbar, and did I want to allow it. There was NO option to allow always-it's just a one time deal. When I shut down for the day, I expected it to remain, but no-next time I fired up firefox, NO TOOLBAR. I pulled up Inbox dollars again, clicked on download toolbar, got the box stating it's blocking the toolbar, etc, etc, etc. Unless Firefox upgrades daily, or in some cases, several times in one day, I'm going to stick with my description that the toolbar magically disappears EVERY TIME I OPEN
FIREFOX!!!
I don't profess to be any type of computer whiz, I'm totally self-taught, and it's not beyond the realm of possibility that I'm doing something wrong. I've been using Firefox for about a week, so I'd welcome any help! -
Why can't I open the Mail ap. on my Macbook Air? It is also preventing 'shut down'.
My 1-year-old Macbook Air operates on OS X version 10-9-5.
Last night I went to shut down, and was informed that the Mail ap. was blocking shut down, and that I should close Mail and try shutdown again.
But I then found that I could no longer access Mail, though its icon has the little white bar indicating it was already open.Open Activity Monitor from the Utilities folder or the Spotlight menu. Select the unresponsive app in the Activity monitor window. Choose Quit Process from the View menu, or click the Force Quit button in the toolbar of the Activity Monitor window.

We are in SRM 7.0 EHP 3 and we are planning to add the shop on behalf functionality for our requisitioner (Employee Self Service Role). As per the standard, we are aware that it can be implemented in SC professional.
Is there a way to add the SOB functionality in SC Wizard as well. We have tried the below suggestion.
Enhance the BBP_SC_MODIFY_UI BADI. But it hasn't helped us where the link is not at all appearing. Could you please advise if there is any enhancement needs to be done in Web Dynpro level or the changes need to be done in BADI and also in Web Dynpro level.

BharathiYou observation is correct and it is the standard design of such portal roles as SRM Administrator, SRM Strategic Purchaser, or SRM Operational Purchaser to not have "personalization", but only Employee Self Service role.

Changing the default logical system names for adaptive RFC models
Hello,
When I create an Adaptive RFC model the dialog that asks me to specify the model name, package, source folder, etc. has default values in the "Default logical system name for model instances" and "... RFC metadata".
I know I can type in another name there but I'd like to change the default name to something that fits our naming conventions. Can I change that? If so, can someone tell me where?

Thank you for your response. However, that is not what I was looking for. Sorry if my post was not clear.
I knew that I could change it AFTER the import. I also know that I can type in something else besides the default DURING the import.
What I am asking is if there is a way to change some configuration setting so that the 'default' that comes up in the drop down DURING the import is something different than what comes 'out-of-the-box' with NWDS.
Hope that clears up what I'm looking for.

Okay I use iPhoto 6 on an older mac and don't want to upgrade past 10.4.11. Can I upgrade iPhoto without the newer operating system? For the life of me I can't get iPhoto to recognize my camera reliably - although it does sometimes. Any advice, help?
The latest version of iPhoto which can operation with OS X 10.4.11 is iPhoto 7 which is part of iLife 08. You might be able to find a copy of iLIfe 08 on Amazon.com or Ebay.com.
iLife 08's full system requirements are:

I think you've anwsered your own question. If it does'nt meet the minimum spec it won't work.

Now I am unable to access some of my documents on my computer and saving documents is cumbersome because it always wants to save it in iCloud, not my computer. The documents I am unable to open are my old MS-Word. One is a macro enabled word doc. I am using os x mountain lion.
After over an hour chat with apple care, the issue is not resolved. I did not have more time to resolve the issue today and it will be continued next week. Per apple care, I do not have any documents in the iCloud however I am almost at the free capacity with contacts and documents.
My question is -- If I purchase backup from a clould provider - other than apple, back up my files in documents in their cloud (make sure I can open them) and then delete the link to iCloud. Would I preserve my data? Has anyone tried this? I am open to suggestions.

Not really. You can store "Documents in the Cloud" but this applies only to documents created by Pages, Numbers, Preview, Keynote, and Microsoft Office documents created on your computer stored in iCloud's "iWork". Within that limited purpose, iCloud works very well.

I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean by "purchase backup from a cloud provider" but if you're considering a service such as Carbonite, I don't advocate any of them. To back up your Mac, use your own backup device - Time Capsule or an external hard disk. It's inexpensive and reliable: two elements essential for a backup strategy, that no subscription service can offer. -
When I downloaded the Mavericks Operating system to my MAC computer, the mac stopped recognizing my T4i camera. How do I fix this.
Apple has an article stating that your camera's digital RAW format is supported. I don't know if that implies the camera too.

The Canon website says the drivers are either already installed or you don't need them for Mavericks.
They do have some updates for the Canon software.
Some more details of, "stopped recognizing my T4i camera," might be helpful.
If you are looking to transfer pictures/movies, can you just plug the card into the Mac or into a card reader? -

Not so sure of that "just plain logic." Allowing sleep too often will cause wear on the drive -- excessive spin up and spin down. Temperature permitting, a drive will last longer if just left running.
For other hardware, a lot will have to do with the internal temps. When it's quite hot here, I allow the computer to sleep more often. But otherwise, it's a bit of this and a bit of that. I wouldn't personally recommend running 24/7, although I know of several here who claim they do, with no apparent adverse effects over many years. -

MY pages documents on my ipad wont sync to icloud. Some of the documents have had the upload icon on them for over a month. It was all working fine a month or so ago but I cant figure out why it wont work now.

I was an apple beta tester for iOS7 and now my iPhone 5 shut down, it's unresponsive it gets recognized by iTunes when plugged into the computer but that's it. Since I was a beta tester is there any way to fix my iPhone??
Are you still running iOS 7 bet?. If so go to the private developer section for help. We cannot help you here with beta software.

Attempting to download Maverick it has been running for nearly 24hrs. I have tried shutting down the computer but the setup assistant keeps canceling the shut down.
Just hold down the power button for about ten seconds and the machine will turn off.
I'm not sure how fast your Internet speed is but my Mavericks downloads usually only take about 20-25 minutes for a 5.33GB file.
No telling what will be waiting for your when you power back on... call back if you can't login to your computer.
