Error_Exception dump while opening the report in RRMX

Hi All,
When User trying to open the report Error_Exception dump is coming for few Info Providers. Please find attached dump for your reference.

Issue is res loved, We have analyze the short dump ,when loads were running and at that if time user executed the queries then that dump was occuring.

Error while opening the report or sheet in the desktop

While opening the reports it gives error as " Failed to Connect Database".
In Some reports it gives error as "Unable to Load EUL item".
Then we check the Menu bar, Tool ----> Options --->EUL.
We found, it is giving Default EUL as blank.
Now it is not allowed to open any sheet as well as not allowed to create new report.
Can any one tell how to resolve this problem?

I have previewed the report using Preview external crystal report option and is running perfect.

Open doc URL: unable to open the report in same window

Hi
I'm trying to open a report using open doc url with "swindow=same" but still it opens in a separate window. This happens only when I use JAVA viewer. it works fine in ActiveX and HTML but I want this in JAVA viewer as i'm including this page in my JAVA application and it should open the report in the same window. I tried using "<a>URL</a>" and also target="_self" by HTML interpretation for that object but still the same problem. I'm unable to open the report in the same window by using JAVA viewer for Crystal Reports in info view. Please help me!!!
Envirorment Details: Crystal Reports 2008 SP3, BOE XI R3 SP3

I have tested that myself and It seems that HTML interpretation does not work with the Java viewer.
I have also tried using a hyperlink containing javascript
eg.
javascript:window.location.href='http://www.sap.com'
but the java viewer seems always to launch a new window before processing the command.
I would recommend to open a case by SAP support ( httP://service.sap.com/support )

Unable to open the reports as url using web.show_document

Hi experts,
I am trying the access the oracle reports from oracle forms. my forms is running at port 9001 and my report is configured at port 9002.
While trying to open the report using web.show_document(), the web page opens with port 9001 and returns 404 error. But when i change the port number to 9002 in the url it opens the report sucessfully.

Performance issue while opening the report

HI,
I am working BO XI R3.1.there is performance issue while opening the report in BO Solris Server but on window server it is compratively fast.
we have few reports which contains 5 fixed prompt 7 optional prompt.
out of 5 fixed prompt 3 prompt is static (it contains 3 -4 record only )which is coming from materlied view.
we have already use many thing for improve performance in report like-
1) Index Awareness
2) Aggregate Awareness
3) Array fatch size-250
3) Aray bind time -32767
4) Login time out -600
the issue is that before refresh opening the report iteslf taking time 1.30 min on BO solris server but same report taking time in BO window server 45 sec. even we import on others BO solris server it is taking same time as per old solris server(1.30 min).
when we close the trace in solris server than it is taking 1.15 sec time.it should not be intial phase it is not hitting more on database.so why it is taking that much time while opening the report.
could you please guide us where exectly problem is there and how we can improve performance for opening the report.In case the problem related to solris server so what would be and how can we rectify.
Incase any further input require for the same feel free to ask me.

Hi Kumar,
If this is happening with all the reports then this issue seems to be due to firewall or security settings of Solaris OS.
Please try to lower down the security level in solaris and test for the issue.

Crystal Report Runtime Error 9.0.Could not open the report

Hi,
Getting the Crystal Report Runtime Error 9.0.Could not open the report while Run on Launch Application. Actually in Launch Application, created a link for exe which is having crystal reports. We can open the Crystal Reports from the exe outside B1.
Note: SAP 2007, Crystal Report 2008 is using.Normally can open crystal report.
Any help to fix the error is appreciated.

BIP not able to open the reports from the catalog

Hi everyone,
I am trying to open the existing reports from the catalog. When i try to expand the folders am getting all the subfolders and evrything and when i am trying to open a particular report am unable to open it, am not getting the data. For all the reports in the catalog am getting the same pbm. What might b the pbm for that, Could anyone pls ans my question bcoz i am having requirement on BIP which am new to it.,,,,

I am trying to open the reports from the shared folders. But am unable to expand the content of that folders and reports. I am using the database as TERADATA. Do we need any security changes for that to acess all the content from the shared folders from BIP side. I am working with the administrator role.,

Problem in opening the report as pop up in live environment but working fine with dev environment

I developed the report in Crystal Report 9.0 ,in dev environment when I opened the report it is opening in same window and when export to word it is opening in new window but after deploying the application, when I do the same i.e expoting to MS word it overwriting the crytal report due to which I am not allowing me save the Word Document into hard drive( which is one of the requirement.) (When I expot the pdf it opening in the same window but allows you to save to hard drive).
My question is why this behaving differently in dev and deployment stages... It will be helpful if the opening of the report happens just like dev environment in all the case.. i.e opening the exported report in new window.
Please help in resolving this issue and guide me if need to write or configure.

Your having the problem in this particular case only or it is a general problem, that you are not able to close the session properly.
If that is the case, try with IE6 because rest does not support this portal feature perfectly.

Report Keeps on "Opening the report" status

Hi all, 
The reports in our application generated by our Forms application used to be generated very well by the Oracle 10g R2 AS. 
But now, when the user wants to generate any report, it hangs, the report doesn't open in the browser. When I checked the status of the jobs in the report server, they are all in "Opening the report" status. 
I restarted the Reports server. I also tried to re-start the Process Manager process, with no luck! 
I enabled the Trace in the report server, the generated code didn't help me or give my any hint. 
Any hint or guide line is highly appreciated.

Discoverer Desktop 10.1.2 error while opening the report.

Hi ,
Do you know why I would be able to open a report from a Discoverer Plus responsibility in Oracle Financials but not from Discoverer Desktop?
The report was owned by User1 and shared with both Admin1 and AdminUser1. I have tried accessing the report with both user names, and in both cases, I get the error shown below when I am logged into Desktop but I do not get the error when I log in through the application.
Error message:
Join configuration cannot be resolved. Reason: more than 1 of the detail folder uses non-aggregated items

Error on open the Report Schedule Page from other application

Hi,
I want to open the only "Report Schedule Page" of the InfoView from my application. For this I am using the following url -
http://servername:8080/businessobjects/enterprise115/desktoplaunch/InfoView/CrystalEnterprise_Report/schedule/get.do?objId=526
The problem I am facing is that sometime the Report Schedule Page open successfully and sometimes it gives the following error -
HTTP Status 400 - Invalid path /InfoView/InfoView/logon/logon was requested
type Status report
message Invalid path /InfoView/InfoView/logon/logon was requested
description The request sent by the client was syntactically incorrect (Invalid path /InfoView/InfoView/logon/logon was requested).
Apache Tomcat/5.0.27
Please help me in resolving this issue?

Hi,
first of all it is neither supported nor recommended to embed or call single components or pages of InfoView in other applications. You would have to write your own schedule page using the BO SDK.
The problem you are facing looks like the component you are calling does not get or find a valid session to the BOE system in the desired place. But even if it would (sometimes you are seeing that) I doubt that it would work to schedule a report using this mechanism as the further requests when pressing the OK button will call other parts of InfoView then, which will probably cause other problems. So try to use another solution as stated above.
