OpenAL callbacks
Hi
I'm into writing library support for the new programming language Timber, (www.timber-lang.org). We have a MAC version out with a rudimentary POSIX interface that works under OS X.
I've been experimenting with X11/OpenGL and OpenCL support and have overcome the fundamental issues, to get them working with Timber.
However, I'm now looking into OpenAL as it is platform independent, and offers some nice functionality (especially for writing games, but also general purpose apps).
I'm stunned by the fact that the OpenAL 1.1 (1.0) does not seem to offer callback functionality, for detecting events (i.e., when a buffer has been processed). I understand that OpenAL stems from way back when people did not care much for event driven programming but is surely is need for an API in 2010.
Do you people know if Apple has an extension for this?
I browsed the Creative OpenAL wiki, http://connect.creativelabs.com/openal/OpenAL%20Wiki/LOKIbuffer_datacallback.aspx
It is not in the Apple al.h/ alc.h unfortunately.
The post is dated 2008, and the project does not seem to flourish.
Any suggestion how to proceed? (Do I have to go back to the stone age and poll for events on all ongoing sound sources in a loop, seem ridiculous and a huge waste of CPU resources).
Thanks in advance for advice. (Please also mail me personally to [email protected], as I'm not browsing the forum that frequently).
Best regards,
Per
Well, in the link you pointed, it is obvious that the beta driver has been superseded, the newest driver is on top and is offcourse not beta.
I hope you are not confused about the OpenAL thing, the official drivers are also OpenAL compliant as have the previous ones been.

Hi
How to abort (close it or else) the opening of a document in the PDDocDidOpen callback?
ThaksYou can't. As the name implies, the file DID open. If you want to be able block the open, you need the WILL open callback.

Hello.
We're running a NW6.5.8 machine on a HP Proliant ML350 G3. The server works
well since several years. Three weeks ago the server makes some problems.
After restarting the machine the memory runs low after 3 or for days. I
can't see a reason for this.
Do you have an idea for this?
Here is my config.txt of this machine:

; This is a sample of the slp configuration file.
; Two types of entries can be made: 1) DA entries, 2) SA Register Filters.
; The DA entry allows static configuration of a known DA. This would be
used
; when the DA was out of multicast range and DHCP was not being used to
; configure the DA.
; The static DA configuration format is as follows 'DA <addr type>,
<addr>'.
; The first word must be "DA". The addr type is the address type.
Currently, only
; IPV4 has been defined. IPV6 will be defined in the future. The addr is
; the address specified.
; The following is an example of a static DA.
; DA IPV4, 130.1.1.1
; The SA Register Filter would be used when the administrator wanted all
services
; of a specific service type being mapped to a single scope. For example,
; the administrator wanted all "lpr" printers being registered to scope
"printer".
; The format is as follows: 'REGISTER TYPE "<type name>" to SCOPE "<scope
name>"'.
; The parser will look for REGISTER, TYPE, and SCOPE as keywords followed
by quote on
; a single line. Example:
; REGISTER TYPE "lpr" to SCOPE "eng"
; The last line must contain a line feed and char return. A semi-colon
specifies a
; comment.

; This is a sample of the slp configuration file.
; Two types of entries can be made: 1) DA entries, 2) SA Register Filters.
; The DA entry allows static configuration of a known DA.
A semi-colon
specifies a
; comment.

DLSW peer takes 20 min. to establish..Please Help !!!
I have configured a Cisco 7304 with DLSW and the remote peer is not a Cisco router. When the local peer in the Cisco is not configured as promiscuous, it takes about 20min to 1h30min for the peers to get connected.
If the local peer is configured as promiscous, it works good, but we dont want to use this configuration becasuse we want to control the connections on each router.
What can I do in order to solve this problem ?
Attached is the router configuration and the output of a "debug dlsw peers"Hi,
based on the debug dlsw peer:

00:02:00: DLSw: END-TPFSM (peer 172.25.252.254(2065)): state:PCONN_WT->CONNECT
at this point the dlsw peer is in state CONNECTED
However you always get a tcp rst or fin right afterwards. Tcp tells dlsw to disconnect the peer.
This can have two potential sources.
The tcp stack on this router or the tcp stack on the remote router has closed the session.
00:02:00: DLSw: dlsw_tcpd_fini() for peer 172.25.252.254(2065)
00:02:00: DLSw: tcp fini closing connection for peer 172.25.252.254(2065)
00:02:00: DLSw: START-TPFSM (peer 172.25.252.254(2065)): event:ADMIN-CLOSE CONNECTION state:CONNECT
00:02:00: DLSw: dtp_action_b() close connection for peer 172.25.252.254(2065)
00:02:00: DLSw: END-TPFSM (peer 172.25.252.254(2065)): state:CONNECT->DISCONN
so the question really is where does the tcp rst come from? Who is closing the tcp connection?
This sequence repeats itself over and over again until it finally stays up.
You can do a
debug ip tcp driver
debug ip tcp transaction
this will show you if you get a disconnect or if this router is sending one. However you have to be a bit carefull with the debugging if you have a lot of tcp activity going on in this router.
Alternative is to take a sniffer trace on the WAN and find out who is sending the tcp reset/fin in that case.
thanks...

Dlsw problem : stuck in WAIT_CAP
Hi all
we had a great problem with some snasw/dlsw routers.
About all dlsw peers remained in WAIT_CAP state( except few resources where dlsw connection ok ) while no ip issues were present between central routers and dlsw remote routers....
The appn snasw links seemed to be ok ( seeing the snasw link command )
A question : there is a relationship between dlsw peer state and snasw link , ie there is an interaction between the 2 processes that could block dlsw peering establishement if there is a mistake on snasw=appn process??
Thanks for feedbacks
Stefano R.Stefano,
the debugging is telling us that the tcp write and read pipe was opened. Ok so far. Next the router is sending his cap_ex message and then this router waits for the cap_ex from the peer. Which never arrives.
So why is the cap exchange not arriving? It would be very much needed to see the debug from the other end at the same time to have a chance to understand what goes on.

Feb 1 09:12:26.726: DLSw: END-TPFSM (peer 10.237.88.136(2065)): state:WAIT_RD->WAIT_CAP
Here you see when the write pipe opens, when the read pipe goes up, the tcp connection from the other router came back to us and this router is sending his CapExId to the peer but we dont get a response and time out.

I have two cFP-2120 RT controller. They both have NI-Serial RT2.5.6, DataSocket for LV RT4.2, NI-VISA 3.6, FP Drivers 5.1.0, FP VI Manager 3.1.0 LV RT 7.1.1 installed. But one same vi can run on one controller but not another.
the error message got when it runs on another controller is "Error -32810 occurred at The FieldPoint server initialization failed. Possible causes: 1. Missing or corrupt configuration file; 2. Failed to create callbacks. : FP Open.vi"
I wonder by what it is caused?
ThanksHi Matthew,
As mentioned previously, this KnowledgeBase article may be of some help. Also, if your code is being run on an embedded controller and then a network controller (not embedded), you will need to run the program differently. On the embedded controller, you should deploy your VI in a Project Explorer or programmatically (as described here.) However, you do not need to deploy the program to a network controller, but simply run the VI.
I would also suggest creating a new .IAK file. Do you still see the same error? Also, double-check that the software installed on the controller matches the software installed on the host PC. If you have any file paths associated with one FieldPoint controller, ensure that you are changing them to match the second controller.
Please keep us posted on your troubleshooting steps. Have a great day!

URGENT: SAPBEXonRefresh or Callback in BEx Analyzer after opening query
Hi everybody,
I'm trying to create an standard excel sheet which should be used by default when opening queries. This works so far...
My goal is to change the format of specific cells in order to get a nice layout and design. If I use the functions SAPBEXonRefresh or Callback (used in the SAP standard sheet) it is just possible to change the format <b>after</b> a refresh. I want to access the cells after the selection of the query, when it's first launched. This does not seem to be possible...
The functions are declared in the sheet settings dialog and the corresponding sheet is also declared as default in the global setting.
Now I have to <b>first</b> open the query, which also opens the standard sheet. <b>Second</b> I have to manually do a refresh, that the code in the functions can work as expected.
Does anybody of you has an idea or solution?
Thanks in advance,
Joerg

Open letter to Cisco regarding the UC320 platform
Cisco,
I have never in my life been exposed to a "production" piece of equipment with so many bugs, missing features and oddities as the UC320. While I am sure many of you are working hard to reign in the problems, this platform is an utter embarrassment that should be in the preliminary alpha stages, not a channel product being sold to end users.
It is clear that Cisco has little understanding of how SMALL business works and how SMALL partners work with small business customers. A larger partner may be able to string a larger business along with promises of bug fixes and feature additions while charging them to make things right and.or padding the overall cost to account for the callbacks. True small businesses don't have the time, patience or money to deal with problematic hardware. When a partner sells a small business a piece of technology, it better work (at a reasonable cost) or the technology and the partner are out the door.
I was extremely excited when this system was announced and saw great potential for small business customers and an alternative to the Avaya Partner IP and other platforms targeted at the same demographic. I jumped in and put a UC320 in the office of one of my small customers. This whole experience has cost me the trust of a client and is going to end up costing me $3000-$4000 out of pocket (hardware, labor, travel) to make things right with the customer.
As it stands, countless hours have been spent trying to get this system to operate in a reasonably stable and productive manner. At this time the UC320 system has been reset and reconfigured in KEY mode (this time using 2.1.3(0), as the problems with steering digits, call routing and redial in "hybrid mode" made the system more than a little cumbersome to use. Now in KEY mode, caller ID only works on some stations AFTER a call is picked up. On one station, incoming calls are somehow routed to the "Phone Monitor" buttons instead of the "Shared FXO Line" buttons. The user has to press the monitor button to pick up a call, but the call does not always ring at the station so she has to watch for the lights. While the caller ID functionality is a bit better after the latest firmware update, it is still far from working properly. These basic call routing problems are not reasonable and not acceptable, period. The customer is tired of "we are working on it" and so am I.
Other problems (to mention a few):
The GUI is full of buggy behavior. One example if many: The impendence matching dialog only works the first time around and then the GUI loses track of what it is doing and must be reset.
It takes 7-10 minutes for the GUI to load to the login screen over a remote connection. The UC320 is connected to a Verizon DSL, while not blazing fast it is a decent connection. Initial GUI loading on the LAN is almost as bad.
The IE9 product that ships with every new Windows computer is not compatible with the GUI. This is not reasonable.
The AA is somewhat unpredictable with regard to picking up calls and sometimes results in a busy tone and dropped call, even if the call is the ONLY call on the system. Sometimes the prompts are garbled and sometimes the AA does not even pick up.
Steering digit redial issue - still not addressed. Redial on hybrid mode is useless, as is the phonebook.
Caller ID only works part of the time, yet on every other system I have ever used, it works 100% of the time. This is not acceptable.
Answered calls on shared FXO lines show as MISSED on other stations with those lines. The workaround: remove the missed calls display feature. This is not acceptable.
Thus UC320 is not happy unless it is the only router, DHCP and DNS client on the LAN. The grayfield implementation appears to fail no matter what LAN topology and equipment are used. This device is far from friendly to the typical SBS or existing LAN with a dedicated DNS and/or DHCP server.
The handsets have a cheap feel to them compared to the Avaya and other competitors phones.
The sound quality of the ringtones is almost laughable if not sad
The speakerphone quality and overall voice quality are not as good as the competition's.
The filtering functionality of the logging feature does not appear to work properly
Firmware updates often result in a HANG condition where either the GUI needs reset, the system needs a physical reset and/or sometimes defaulted
Firewall port forwarding rule oddities where a rule is deleted from the gui but is still active in the firewall, yet the inability to easily use another data router to work around this problem.
The inability of the device to properly use the LAN port for INTERNET based functionality (Time for example) if the WAN port is NOT connected,
countless other 'issues" raised in the support forum and other venues...
These are ALL very basic functions that one would expect to be fixed BEFORE a basic telephone system platform is released for production. It is absolutely unreasonable for a CUSTOMER to have to put up with a system this buggy and it is absolutely unreasonable for a partner to have to devote this much time and money to getting system to work at even a very basic level of functionality.
To repeat the scenario: This config is as basic as it gets running 2.1.3(0) with (3) system phones, (3) users, (2) pots trunks and that's it. There are no odd call routing scenarios, no complex AA rules or schedules (in fact the AA is defaulted, including prompts). All (3) system phones have BOTH shared FXO lines (KEY MODE). Each and every firmware version has been tried and the system has been defaulted numerous times. The system fails to meet even the most basic expectations of myself or the end user and has become a sore spot between our company and a very good client.
I am somewhat baffled, if not outright bothered by the fact that this device is riddled with so many problems and the fixes are taking so long to be implemented, if at all. I have been asked (ordered) by the customer to get this "hunk of crap" out of their office and replace it with something that works "at no additional cost". I could not agree with the customer more...
A very unhappy Cisco Partner.
William BurnettTo William (and Cisco,)
Honestly, I like Cisco.
I like their "openess" (you can find documentation and help on almost anything anywhere), the contribution they make to industry by their huge R&D effort (more than all their competition combined....or so I've been told...), the accessibility and responsiveness of some of their key people in the distribution channel, and yes, I like the ecosystem in terms of support, tons of free education and sales support for both their SMB and classic enterprise solutions.
Having said that, I thank God for people like William Burnett, who I am sure opened the eyes of many partners about the things that are horrendously wrong with some of the products in the SMB portfolio, most notably the UC320. I think it is fair to say, that William has effectively "killed" it (the UC320) in it's present incarnation. That is, unless Cisco, decides to really rise to the challenge and fix a product that at first seemed ideal for the small enterprise, but which was poorly implemented in terms of QC and in some cases design.
We certainly are not going to be touching the UC320 with a 10ft pole now Nobody wants (or can afford to) get a bad name by selling "trouble" to your Mom&Pop shops or to people whose trust you worked hard to gain and who are really depending on you to deliver. Not in this economy....not ever.
Coming from a Nortel telephony background, its really hard to accept that having to respond to trouble calls or complaints continuously from customers when Nortel products worked so reliably. In fact, Nortel Norstar is so reliable as a key system that people joke , that's why they went out of business, they couldn't generate enough turnover in new sales on account of people holding on to their Norstar's forever.
As a seller/installer/user of Cisco voice (UC540) and CME there are a couple recommendations I would like to make to Cisco:
1)Private line emulation - inability to transfer or conference calls on a private line. (using the TRUNK XX command) on the CME/UC500 platforms needs to be significantly improved in order to keep up with the competition:
for one, when you select a private line and make a call you cannot transfer that call. Every other system I have worked with allows you to do this. This for me is a glaring "defect/design flaw". I spent a lot of time trying to get this "fixed" as I couldnt believe that Cisco would just omit such a basic function when all their competition has it. (You dont even think about this when dealing with other systems.) Its just expected.
2)Private line emulation - Inability to reflect the dialed number in the Call Detail Records for calls made via a "private line". If you select a private line on the UC500 or CME and make a call, the dialed number would not show up in the CDR. I have programmed systems from Nortel (Norstar, BCM,CS1000), Avaya - (IP Office 500, Partner Plus, and S8x00 Communication Servers) as well as various systems from Mitel and
Panasonic . The CDR packages for these systems are very well implemented and documented. Cisco's systems are well documented as well, but this is an area of the implementation where Cisco falls behind the competition. I am sure this can be fixed, but for some reason, despite a number of requests, it hasnt.
In trying to understand why it is Cisco, with such a huge R&D budget, can't seem to get some things working properly that the competiton has long ago solved and moved on with, I have come to the conclusion that it must be that Cisco propably didnt tap enough of the right (human) resources when it was developing its voice portfolio, and the lack of industry experience shows up in some random places. Sad to say, not paying attention to some of these details, to real world usage scenarios, makes what would be an otherwise super product, just good enough.
Cisco is the biggest networking vendor on the planet. People have a right to have high exectations of Cisco. Their marketing also conditions users and partners to expect more when using their solutions. While we accept that no one is perfect, not even the mighty Cisco, I think most of the complaints and dissapointment expressed in this forum, on this particular thread, are justified because there is a strong feeling that if Cisco can be such a trailblazer with their enterprise portfolio, that they should have understood the importance of ensuring and enforcing good quality control in the design and manufacture of the SMB portfolio. I honestly hope someone from "Corporate" or high enough to make a differnce, looks at this thread started by William and uses it to inspire the will to fix what needs to be fixed to redeem the UC320 in whatever incarnation, in the eyes of its partners (even former ones....such as William)and customers. This is beginning to look like a textbook case of how not to do product development. -

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

==============================================================Hi,
Just several ideas to be checked:
1. Please, verify the prerequisites of Operations Console listed by the following link:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn249696.aspx
2. Install all the SCOM related system updates.
3. Clear SCOM Console cache:
http://systemcenter.no/?p=215
4. Try to clean up Ops Manager cache on SCOM Management server. To do this stop Microsoft Monitoring Agent service, navigate to SCOM installation path (by default, C:\Program Files\Microsoft System Center 2012 R2\Operations Manager\Server) and
delete Health Service State folder. Start Microsoft Monitoring Agent service afterwards.
5. If nothing helps, maybe try to reinstall SCOM Console.

Open file in excel from labview
I need a way to open an existing Excel file, that may or may not be open already. I am using the attached "Open Specific WorkBook.vi" from the examples. My LabVIEW program must be able to either open a specifc Excel workbook and worksheet even if it is already open. Is this even possible, or would it be better to close it (if open), the open it again?

Open Specific WorkBook.vi 37 KBAs you probably know, nothing "bad" happens when you open Excel if it's already open, it just doesn't come to the front of your LabVIIEW ap. To get it to the front, Minimize the Excel window then immediately Maximize it (or Normalize it) programmatically with a PN. I have tried many of the other methods (but not all of them) to no avail, this works for me. There may be a more elegant solution.
There are other known methods to bring an ap to the front, with callbacks etc, but they can be clunky, or require Userlib32, etc. Since this property node already exists in your ap, it's comes at little expense.
Of course, you may want to check that the ap was open before you do this, but even that is optional, at the expense of a little flashing on the screen.

Dbe- open and db- put returning ENOMEM
I am running into a problem with bdb 4.7.25 returning ENOMEM on db->put and dbe->open at apparently random times. There are four different environments, two of which are entirely in memory including the logs, and the other two are disk backed with in memory logs. At anyone time there are at least 4 processes sharing these environments doing reads and writes. They are all using transactions for atomicity and concurrency. I am not worried about durability, if the application crashes it is acceptable for the databases to be recreated. The in memory dbs have secondary indexes.
The application has a mechanism for recycling these processes by sending a signal to have them exit gracefully (all dbs and dbes are being closed) or depending on its function closing and reopening the environment and dbs. The ENOMEMs seem to show up only when this recycle happens. For debugging purposes the recycle interval was set to 10 seconds and this causes many ENOMEMs to begin popping up. But they do not show up on every dbe->open/db->put call, just some. Having a process exit gracefully when it detects an ENOMEM seems to clear up the problem until another recycle triggers it again.
I have serialized the DBE and DB open and close calls with locks. A previous bug required this as concurrent dbe and/or db open calls was causing problems. But It is possible that one process might be doing a read/write while another process is opening the same environment.
The ENOMEMs have occurred in both the full in memory dbes as well as the disk backed dbes.
DBE Configuration:
DB_INIT_TXN | DB_INIT_LOCK | DB_INIT_MPOOL | DB_CREATE | DB_TXN_NOSYNC | DB_SYSTEM_MEM
dbe->log_set_config( dbe, DB_LOG_IN_MEMORY, 1 );
DB Configuration: DB_AUTO_COMMIT | ( DB_CREATE but only at initial startup of the application, the recycling processes don’t set this )
mpf->set_flags(mpf, DB_MPOOL_NOFILE, 1);
I am doing one tricky thing with the db:
db->flags |= DB_AM_NOT_DURABLE
This is an internal flag that I found digging around the source. Without this our in disk backed dbs were triggering “file unknown has LSN 3/128061, past end of log at 1/28” errors when the shared memory was cleared between application stop/starts (ie. reboots) due to the logs being in memory. If there is a better way of handling this I’d love to know.
Also, I occasionally see what seems to be an internal deadlock where all processes are sitting ona futex() call as seen by strace.
Has anyone seen this behavior before?Oh I also forgot to mention that BDB does not log an error through our msg callback. Also using dbe->set_verbose() doesn't give us any clues as to what is happening when ENOMEM is being returned.

[ANN] XINS 2.1 open source Web Services framework release
XINS 2.1 Web Services Framework has been released.
XINS is an open source Web Services Framework based on simple specifications of the Web Service in XML and
generation of code and documentation from the specification.
The generation includes Client JAR with its Javadoc, Server side template with its Javadoc, documentation in OpenDocument Format,
documentation in HTML including the test forms, WSDL file, unit tests (JUnit) and stubs.
The Web Services accept several protocols including REST, SOAP, XML-RPC, XML, JSON Yahoo! and JSON-RPC.
What's new:
* Start the API with java -jar <api name>.war
* Improved generated specification in OpenDocument Format
* Include/exclude calling convention with ACLs
* New calling convention that maps SOAP request and response as the wsdl2api command mapping.
* Smaller generated build.xml
* Added possibility to include other runtime properties files
* The runtime property location can be a URL
* Swing Graphical User Interface
* New tools: emma, glean, webstart
* New target: javadoc-test-<api name>, javadoc-apis
* Bug fixes and small RFEs
Download XINS 2.1:
Windows installer: http://prdownloads.sf.net/xins/xins-2.1.exe?download
TAR GZ archive: http://prdownloads.sf.net/xins/xins-2.1.tgz?download
Resources:
Web site: http://xins.sourceforge.net/
XINS demos: http://xins.sourceforge.net/demo.html
Documentation: http://xins.sourceforge.net/documentation.html
User guide: http://xins.sourceforge.net/docs/index.htmlI recommend you implement your web service with JAX-WS 2.0
Axis (both version) are good but why do you want to use something that is not included in JEE API, when Java provide same thing with better performance.
personally try to prevent non standard technologies despite they can be better than core java implementation sometimes.
I don't know Xfire.
the good:
-JAX-WS performance is better than axis,
- you can create your web service simply with annotation.(this means write class and then make it as a service easily)
- support every kind of service invocation(callback,Asynchronous,...)
- architecture is nice (you can operate on SOAP level)
the Bad:
- It is JEE 5 or JSE 6 dependent.
- there is seriously lack of documentation and examples for it, on java web sites and internet. -
Callback mechanism is not working in Javascript
JDK versions: Problem occurs in JRE1.4.2 and JRE1.5 (JRE142_05, 5.0 beta), but NOT JRE1.3.1.
OS: WIndows
Here is the problem Scenario
1. A Webpage ( GOM - Javascript ) is running
2. Clicking on a button in the above webpage will load an applet ( enc3 )
3. Once we are done with the applet, click on return button to go back to GOM
4. To return to GOM, function performMiniflowReturnWithMessage in the java file is called which in turn calls "this.getAppletContext().showDocument(new URL(miniFlowClosePage.toString()),"_top");".
Subsequently function closeMiniflowWindow() is called in the HTML page which in turn calls sendREsultsToGOM.
Here the call to ""opener."+returnStatusMethodName+"(status, msg, data);";" is throwing a javascript error in Sun plugin.
Exact text of error message:
The exact error message is ( JavaScript Error: http://nc3ft3a.ugd.att.com/enc3home/closeminiflowapplet.html??Callback=NC3_alertOnError&Status=-1&Msg=Neither E2EPVC_ODBIDS or ROUTER_ODBID Params was not sent to VPN applet.&, line 44: opener.NC3_alertOnError is not a function )
Here are our findings :
1. I could notice that "getAppletContext().showDocument" is one java api that customer is using and this is being called before application encounters problem reported that is the javascript error
2. showDocument API's functionality is that it requests that the browser or applet viewer show the Web page indicated by the url argument. This API has 2 parameters one is URL and other is the TARGET.
Target can be any one these
a. "_self" show in the current frame
b. "_parent"show in the parent frame
c. "_top" show in the topmost frame
d. "_blank" show in a new unnamed top-level windownameshow in a new top-level window named name
3. In the customer's application, for this API showdocument, URL argument passed is "enc3home/closeminiflowapplet.html?" and _top is passed as Target argument. Hence, the expected behaviour is that topmost frame of this URL that is GOM should be shown instead the above javascript error is thrown. The probable cause could be that instead of getting the link to GOM ( topmost window of enc3 ), application is getting link to enc3 itself.
4. Actually this.getAppletContext() as used in the application along with showDocument sun.plugin.viewer.context.NetscapeAppletContext. Therefore NetscapeAppletContext.showDocument is called within the application.
5. NetscapeAppletContext extends DefaultPluginAppletContext and the showDocument method of this class is called. This function inturn calls doShowDocument. I suspect these functions and this needs to be investigated.
Also please note that the classes NetscapeAppletContext and DefaultPluginAppletContext are not there in 131 and customer says that problem is not there in 131. Also, the this.getAppletContext will return sun.plugin.navig.win32.AppletPluginContext.
Application source code is available.in this part:
if(document.LForm.uname.value==null || document.LForm.upassword.value==null)should be:
if(document.LForm.uname.value=="" || document.LForm.upassword.value=="")or
if(document.LForm.uname.value.length==0 || document.LForm.upassword.value.length==0)
