Thanks so much for wading in. I did exactly what you suggested - glad you gave me the hint about how to access my library files. There was only one document that seemed to have anything to do with cache, and that was called Calendar Cache. (I've attached a screen capture of all the files incase I should have deleted something else as well.) I deleted Calendar Cache then restarted iCal, but after updating I was still unable to add new events.
Is there anything else you can suggest?

Were the photos taken by your new iPhone? If so, did you not import them off your phone to your computer (as you would any other digital camera) before the restore? If not, restoring wiped the data off the phone and your pictures are gone.

Hi, I have just purchased a new Macbook Pro. Whenever I try and buy anything on the internet (via Safari) on any website it will not allow me to add products to checkout. Has anyone else experienced this problem or can suggest a fix? Many thanks!

i got both a PC version and a mac version in my purchase but once i loaded to my PC it will not allow me to load to my Mac with same redemption number. Is there a way to do that?
I was going to ask a similar question - we bought the boxed version of PSE11 with mac and pc disc - can we install the program on our mac as well as our PC? It's already on the PC but would be very handy to have it on Mac also. Thanks

My PC crashed. My music was all recovered from my iPod, but my shuffle will not allow me to add/delete music. I was considering restoring my shuffle, but how can I without deleting all music in my iTunes? Any help would be greatly appreciated
Restoring the iPod won't delete the content of the iTunes library. Back it up anyway.

When I updated firefox none of my bookmarks were kept and it will not allow me to post any bookmarks. I get a message saying an error occurred try again later. I use Vista as my OS.
A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Hi there,
I have a new laptop.
I have music on my laptop that I have not purchased through iTunes (ie, uploaded CD's, copied to my laptop from my old computer, etc).
For some reason, iTunes will not allow me to transfer this music to my iPhone. I get the "red circle with the cross through it" symbol when I try to drop it into the iPhone..
Can someone suggest a way that I can oversome this and add my music to my phone from my new computer?
At this stage, I can only add music to it via the old iTunes/old computer that the phone was originally synced to.

Ical will not allow me to add a new event
I have tried to both double click (and nothing happens) as well as right click and add "New Event" but again nothing happens. I went into my Library and delted my cache, deleted then re-signed into my iCloud account, and checked for updates. Anyone ever experience anything like this before and better yet do you have a fix?
Thank youI had tried that previously with no results. So, I changed the password with the provider. Next I resubmitted the ID and password, ignoring the Yahoo button, but instead choosing the Other button. It was successful. Sometimes it's necessary to change the playing field, rather than put up with the potholes. Thanks for your help.

I have just opened a new account with the Post Office but I am unable to access this on the net. Telephoned Customer Services but say that I will not be able to access through Firefox and will have to use Internet Explorer. Going back to Internet Explorer is not something I want to do because I like Firefox, please explain why Firefox is blocking access if this is true. I have clicked 'allow' but it made no difference and the only message coming up is "timed-out" when I have been much less than 5 mins putting security details. Please advise. Paula
I doubt if Firefox is blocking access. More than likely, that website is made to use ActiveX, or other proprietary Microsoft code, that only Internet Explorer can handle.
If you post the address of that "Post Office" website, maybe one of us support helpers can figure out the exact reason for that. -
I get an error message when trying to add new contacts and it is suggested I try back later, also when sending an e-mail the address I wish to send an e-mail to will no longer auto-fill. This has been a problem for sometime, maybe a month. The last problem I had was trying to download my March bank statement, in Adobe. If I switch to Internet Explorer I can accomplish these tasks. I am using Yahoo on both Firefox and Internet Explorer.
Check the Ethernet connection to the AirPort Express. Make sure that the Ethernet connection from the Comcast modem is connected to the WAN port on the back of the AirPort Express. The WAN port is the one with the circle of dots shown over the port.
It sounds like you are connected to the Ethernet LAN port. -
my wife was using another application and when she minimized this app, firefox was updating without any prompting to us, which I thought was unusual. The "new' firefox page just doesn't look right. The Norton toolbar is no longer there, and, most curious of all, our persona background, which we've used for a very long time, was not there. When I try to change the background, I cannot. I am concerned that a hacker may be impersonating firefox. Am I being paranoid or is this a common problem?

I am trying to use apple configurator with ipads. I have been successful with preparing and supervising all ipads but one. When preparing it in configurator, I receive an error that it is refreshed but with an error. Under supervise, I am not able to add apps. I have erased all content to start over but this does not work either
Are you trying to restore a backup, or just sync some apps? Do you have profiles installed on the device?
Have you plugged the ipad into iTunes, and did a fresh install? I'm assuming the device went through the prepare setup properly. You many have to unsupervise it first, then plug it into iTunes to wipe it completely.
I'd then do each step seperately. Prepare it, then install 1 app, if that works, try another app, then maybe a profile. -
I've been using Lightroom for many years. My machine is an iMac, plenty fast and lots of RAM. I went to change the song that was already in Lightroom for a slideshow and once I selected the song, Lightroom quits and an error comes up. Do I need to remove and reload lightroom? Anyone else had this problem?
Hey! I had the same problem you did just today when I was trying to get my second iPhone to sync. What you need to do with music or anything extra that you doing you have to creat a second playlist or picture or anything that you would like to use, so that you can add to the second device that you are going to be using. I am not sure if that will help but it helped me out a lot!! Good luck!
