I have the most recent version installed on my Mac. When trying to open a document, I get "Please wait... I was using Google Chrome to access the website and document. When that didn't work, I used Safari and it worked. So, thank you Pat for your reply.

I've had a trial-version of adobe acrobat but I don't have it anymore. Now all of a sudden, I can't open online document links in any browser because there is a note that says that I have to agree with som license agreement. How can I go back to opening my online documents with adobe reader??

It still doesn't work. I just tried to delete adobe reader and reinstall it but this message still pops up when I want to open a link to a document. Opening online documents in quickoffice

The only way I am able to open an online document in quickoffice on my ipad3 is to save it on my laptop and email it. Then I can open it on my ipad. There has got to be a way to open them directly in quickoffice on my ipad, otherwise my ipad is pointless to use in class!

Need help resolving newly discovered problem wherein all of sudden I can no longer open and display pdf files within IE and but end up with a blank screen [shows blue loading gauge 55.8kb/55.8kb for example doc] unless I down load the pdf file and then open it using Reader XI ver 11.0.2 [Plug-Ins 11.0.01.36] which opens the files just fine. When I click on an online document from a gov. website a page opens up with a small black box in the upper left hand corner but the document doesn't open up even if I click on it. I had downloaded the latest adobe updates. What can I do?

This issue occurs with most of the PDFs that I open up. I am using the latest version of adobe reader on my windows based machine and it is a general PDF. I saw a similar post online stating that if you look at the fonts used in the document and it doesn't say (Embedded) next to it, then Adobe Reader will try to pull the font(s) from your computer and if it doesn't find that font then it will replace it which makes it look funny.

Connect to SharePoint Online Document Library from Excel

We have a number of people in the field who fill out fairly complex evaluation forms in excel. These forms are submitted to a document library in SharePoint Online
What I need to be able to do is report off these submitted excel files reading and consolidating specific data (they are all of a consistent format). There may be any number of excel sheets in the source document library
Previously I would have done this using VBA but I cannot find a way of connecting to a sharepoint online document library from excel vba - I am open to other options

Per my understanding, there is an XML file contains attributes. You want to upload it to a SharePoint library as well as extract the values of those attributes to
save to the corresponding columns of the SharePoint library.
As it is an Online environment, a workaround I would suggest is that you can create a client application(such as Windows Form Application) to extract values from the
XML file, then upload the file to SharePoint library, submit the values to the same library afterwards. All this can be achieved using SharePoint Client Object Model.

Adobe reader is not opening my word document stating that it is an unsupported document??????

I am having difficulty opening a word document that my instructor has attached to my Oncourse (student page) online. I have Adobe reader and Microsoft Office. Every time I try to open a word document a message box pops up from Adobe Reader stating that it cannot open it because it is either an unsupported file or it was damaged??????????

Originally I was unable to open a document without getting a pop up screen from Adobe stating that Adobe was unable to open the doc because it was either an unsupported file or because it was damaged.
I tried opening it up as the link you sent me directed me to, however I was unable to even follow step one because it did not gice me ANY of the options.

I have an error opening a pdf document

Everytime I try to open a pdf document while I am online, I just get a little black box with an x in it. My adobe is installed correctly and it is up to date. What do I need to do to fix it? Thanks for the help

HELP - Having Problem in opening PDF online form

I am having a problem in opening a PDF form online, in fact it is a Canadian visa application form which i need to fill and submit online, but it's been more than 2 weeks I am unable to open it online, all the time I am getting same message 'To view the full content of this document you need a later version of PDF viewver' I have already installed the latest version but still it's not opening, I tried all the Browsers too but no scuccess, I am using Mac but I tried it on PC of a friend too and got the same Error.

I don't know Safari, but I know that Chrome and Firefox use their own PDF viewers, not the Adobe Reader plugin.

Pages will not open a new document

Hi all
For some reason I cannot open a new pages document (neither blank nor template). I can open existing documents but when I try to open a new document it just freezes and I have to force quit.
My software is updated and I've tried repairing disk permissions.
Does anyone know how to fix it? Or how I download the software again if I remove it from my hard drive (I bought it online and have a licence key).

Is it only one particular document? You have not made that clear.
Very likely it is a font issue. The regular OSX 10.6 Software Updates introduced faulty fonts.
You need to update your system with the downloadable [OSX Combo Updater|http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1349]
