Opening blank page

how do i make it so when someone clicks a link it opens to a
specific width/height blank page... i know how to open in a blank
page, but i need to know how to make it a specific
width/height???

Your previous tabs will not re-open or be available to re-open when starting Firefox if:

Safari Opens Blank Pages

Lately Safari has been opening blank pages behind my current page whenever I click links on the current page. The link opens in the current page or new tab, but the full screen blank page is still open. This is driving me crazy. Any thoughts?
Extensions include the latest versions of:
1Password
Evernote Web Clipper
DoNotTrackMe
DuckDuckGo
AdBlock
--Mitch

I have Glims installed as well. I've been prompted to update it, but have not.
I was suggested to uninstall Glims. Here is the link I was given:

Webi report link to other webi report opening blank page

I have put the hyperlink to link to the other webi report. But once I click on the links. It open the report with blank page. I have tried it in View mode or Edit mode, the browser will open up another blank page. Following is my links:

Make sure the followings:
1. The webserver runs at port 8080 (if not, use the correct port)
2. the CUID is correctly copied.
3. the target report here is a webi report. (sType=wid)
4. the server name is correctly mentioned.
5. you are using JAVA environment.

Dreamweaver pages won't preview in Firefox since last update (3.6.13); Firefox opens blank page only. I am running OS 10.4.11 on iMac G5.

Previously both Firefox and Safari would display web pages created in Dreamweaver (MX). Dreamweaver is set up to preview by default in Safari (F12) and, using (F12) and the Command modifier key, in Firefox. Now the preview works only in Safari. Trying to preview in Firefox results in Firefox opening, if it wasn't already running, but only a blank page displays.

That's an indication the startup disk may need repairing.
Launch Disk Utility. That's located in /Applications/Utilities
Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click: Verify Disk (not Verify Disk Permissions)
If the disk needs repariing follow the instructions for Using Disk Utility to verify or repair disks

Can you please check if any error being reported in errors file under (C:\Program Files\Oracle\WebServer7\<instance-name>\logs).
Also verify the process and the try modifying the port from 8989 to 8888 and see if it helps.
you can modify the port on which it listen to in server.xml located in (C:\Program Files\Oracle\WebServer7\<instance-name>\config

Links to files opens blank page

Hey,
I have links on my iWeb page to zip files on a server. When I click the link, the file begins to download as I want, but in order of the download to happen, a blank page is opened before the download occurs.
Is there a way to trigger the download without having to open a blank page?

Old Toad, I'm sorry but I can't give out the link since the download links contain resource materials for my book that hasn't been officially released and I can't give out the link to the resource page. However, I have tried to download the files on other test computers and the blank window is opening with safari on each computer. Also at second glance, I noticed that a blank window is opening with Firefox as well, only its getting closed immediately and the download window appears. I didn't notice that at first.
I am wondering if perhaps I have the link set to open a new window in iWeb as Roddy mentioned above. I'll have to check that when I get home. What should I choose for the option in iWeb to open the link so that only the download window appears?

Google Custom Search opens blank page

I have a Wordpress site. I installed Google Custom Search on my website.
In all browsers except Firefox it opens a blank page.
How can i fix this?

The first error would indicate a problem with one of the Google scripts.

I don't know that much about JavaScript to know how to troubleshoot this and this happens in all Firefox versions that I tried, so it could be a compatibility issue in Firefox with this Google script.

Firefox 4 will load website but opens blank pages within website

I have used Firefox for years, updated from 3.6 to 4 and never had any problems. Recently in 3.6 and 4 I load my local medical centre website (no problem) then when I click on any link I just get a blank page. These pages always open in IE. I have emptied the cache and refreshed the pages but all I get is blank pages.

Do you have firefox filter installed? I find that with my problem I disabled firefox filter from my add ons & found that the web page I have trouble viewing (which is verizon wireless) will load correctly. Or maybe is another add on you may have installed. Test them out. For now I switched back to firefox 3.6 because I dont experience that problem with 3.6. I hope they can correct it, I would like to use firefox 4 again soon.

Presenter htm file opening blank page in browser

I have a number of presentations that have been created with Presenter that are published online and on a DVD. I have just had a user report that on the disc only when they click the link to open the presentation, all that opens is a blank page in the browser. I have tested this on my machine and it works fine. I tested it on a spare laptop and encoutered the same issue. Does anyone have any ideas about why this is happening and how to fix it? Just for futher reference, if you navigate on the DVD (through Windows Explorer) to the same htm file to open the presentation, it works fine. This makes me wonder if it is some odd setting in IE (9)...

If you are login with your credentials it doesn't matter either it is admin machin or a any other machine.
Check If it is problem with only your system it could be some browser issue .Try in other browser in your system and let us know your result.

See if any of this helps you below.
Also did you use the combo up-date for 10.4.5? Because this version
corrects things in Safari that the stand alone does not.
Did you repair premissions before and after the up-date?
Did you turn off your firewall?
Safari: PDFs now open directly in Safari instead of in Preview
When using the latest version of Safari with Mac OS X 10.4 "Tiger," PDF links that you click will now open directly in the Safari window for your viewing convenience. Before Tiger, PDFs would open in Preview.
If you still prefer Preview, simply Control-click the PDF link (or right click on a two-button mouse) and choose Download Linked File from the shortcut menu. Once the file is on your desktop, double-click it to open in Preview.
Notes:
In addition to Control-clicking the link and selecting Download Linked File as described above, you also have the choice of using Option-click on the link to shortcut the process even further.
If you do open a PDF in a Safari window, you can Control-click on the PDF itself and choose Open with Preview.
Due to certain server configurations, some PDFs will still download to your desktop instead of opening in a Safari window.
If you use a third-party PDF plug-in for Safari, it will block Safari's built-in PDF support.

Itunes will open on my computer, but the actual itunes store will not open, blank page...HELP

I just got the new itunes and I can open itunes and see my music but whenI try and go to the itunes store it just loads to a white page. I try and refresh and go to the home page and nothing happens. I can sign into my account and the tabs for the itunes store pop up like they normally would when browsing the itunes store but when I click on one of them, it is a blank page. Is there a setting I need to change? Does it just take an extremely long time to load? Please help!!

Safari opens blank page in Nciku app

Using Safari, translator program Nciku opened up search pages last week, now it opens up blank pages, what is the fix?

Just opened it on my phone and I dont get ablank page. Go to settings/safari and clear history and cookies and see if that helps

Cs4 document cannot open, blank page

I am using CS4 and I saved my file as .pdf but it showed up blank so I restarted my computer. Now the original .ai file previews as a blank screen and when I try to open it says error cannot open file and opens to blank screen too

Which file size can you see?
Have you still kept ealier versions of the document?
The original document may have become corrupt, or the blank PDF may have saved over it.
In case of file corruption, presuming there is something left (file size hopefully reasonable, greater than 0), one thing often tried first is to create a new document and File>Place the corrupted one to see how much may be rescued that way.
