Opening creative cloud
- just downloaded the desktop app, when i try to open photoshop it brings me to a free trial page. Then I click 'licence this product'. I sign in with my adobe id , and it says ' thank you, continue to you use this product' , then when I click to open photoshop again, it brings me to the trial page?! any ideas what to do? thanks!

Please go to C:\Users\(your own user)\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE and rename opm.db file.
MAC:
/Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE and rename opm.db
Once you do that then it should ask you to sign in using a different e-mail address.

I have a very long email and after 4 days of using I am already irritated to hell!
Please add an option to auto login or something please!!!!!!If it did, I wouldn't be asking the question...... But I have since discovered what I think is at the heart of the problem:
I have my default browser as Chrome. I noticed I did not have a reply button on your post when using Chrome, I swithched to IE and their was a reply button. Hence how I am now managing to reply!
So it twigged that maybe that also had something to do with the sign of the Creative Cloud App from my notification area icon, seems werid to me but - Sure enough, now it does keep me logged in between sessions.
So are you going to fix so I do not have to set IE as my default browser? -

Help! problems trying to open creative cloud installer
So every time I try to open creative cloud installer (on my mac) it comes up with a notice saying "administrator priveleges are required to continue with the installation" but I am the administrator so I don't understand what it means! Can anyone help me please??
on a PC you can right click the desktop icon
and choose Run as Administrator
It tends to be an esential step wit Windows 8
Does the Mac have something like that?
[EDIT] I'll add to that that it often saves time and frustration if you restart your computer before trying again after a failed installation or update. -

For Mac:
~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/opm.db. Launch CCD and try to sign in.
Enable hidden user Library: Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 and later.
For Windows:
[System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE

Have CC programs installed already, but when I open Creative Cloud app Manager it only shows CS6?
OK thanks - I tried that, would not let me remove the OPM.db file as in solution 2, i uninstalled CS6 versions, i uninstalled Creative Cloud desktop app and then downloaded latest and installed - however, with continual workload, I am not about to remove all Adobe software as suggested in Solution 4! Even in the Creative Cloud app where it shows install new apps, there are only CS6 versions showing?
I have just uninstalled creative cloud app manager again - go to download latest version and the message is - we are currently experiencing problems, please try again later. -

Cannot Open Creative Cloud desktop

I installed the newest version of Adobe Creative Cloud on my Mac with Yosemite. I double clicked on the app and an icon of CC showed up in the status bar for a second before it disappeared by itself.

It just stops here and nothing moreAs you had logged in to Root account , follow below steps and check.
1)
Launch Activity Monitor and "Force Quit" all the process related to Adobe like Creative Cloud, CoreSync, AAMupdater, AAMupdater notifier, Adobe Crash demon from Activity monitor.
2)
Click on the Finder and look for the options listed next to Apple Icon located at the top left corner of the Desktop screen and click on "Go" menu button and select "Utilities" option.
(Applications>Utiliites)
Locate Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Application Manager folder under Utilities window and trash both folders.
3)
Trash Adobe Creative Cloud from Applications well.
4)
1) Right click on Finder icon and select "Go-ToFolder " option.
2) You will get a text box, type-in below command and then hit 'Return' key.( Do not miss ~ symbol)
~/library
3)Then navigate to Application Support>Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and trash folders named AAMUpdater and OOBE.

1) Right click on Finder icon and select "Go-To" Folder option.
2) You will get a text box, type-in below command and then hit 'Return' key.

3)Then navigate to Application Support>Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and trash folders named AAMUpdater ,Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.

Click on the below link and download & run Adobe Cleaner tool :
Select the option "Adobe Application Manager for Mac OS X 10.6" and then click on "Clean up Selected" .

Click on the below link and download and install Adobe Application Manager.

Once the installation is completed , the install box will disappear, '
Then open Applications folder and locate Adobe Application Manager icon and double click on it.
It will start update process and gets update to Creative Cloud desktop app. -

I have never used Creative Cloud and several app for a long time and never had this problem before. How can this be fixed?

DougThanks Jeff. I'm the only one using CC so it wouldn't make sense for us to create a whole deployment package. But, you did make me think that we changed something on our end that might be blocking me from getting to CC. I wish I could remember what setting I changed with the Adobe Tech that opened it up.
WOOHOO! I figured it out and I remember now the setting that the Adobe Tech and I found that was blocking it. We had a proxy server set up for web traffic filtering but it's no longer there. I unchecked it and, walla, I'm good.

I can't open Creative Cloud in Windows 7. I get nothing -- not even the blank window.
It's worked fine until yesteday. Initially it only opened the white window and I followed many suggestions on this forum, renamed OOEB, used CC Cleaner, reinstalled, deleted opm.db. Now it is worse — it will not even open the blank window. I get the spinning circle for a few seconds and then it stops. If I watch the task manager I can see it try to load and then it doesn't. Help please.

I have just been chatting with Adobe and I have resolved the situation on my computer.
Open up Run and enter %localappdata%/adobe/ and hit ok. Delete OOBE and AAMupdater folders.
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe and delete OOBE and Adobeapplicationmanager folders. If another program is not allowing you to delete open up task manager and end these processes AAM updater, AAM notifier, Adobe crash demon, CEF helper, IPC broker, Coresync then try deleting.
Now go to the location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe and delete the Adobe Creative Cloud folder. If you cannot delete, try renaming the folder to Adobe Creative Cloud2.
Now download the Application Manager from here Adobe - Adobe Application Manager
Install it and let it do its updates. Once it is done the Creative Cloud program window should open.

I would like to know if there is an add on that will let you open a newer version indesign document in my CS6 version?
Instead of asking the customer to save a copy in interchange format?
I was thinking of upgrading, until I found that you have to pay forever for this software.
I would rather pay one time and use the software like the CS6 version.Compatibility will depend on application. InDesign for instance needs to be saved back via IDML. But it will be the responsibility of the Creative Cloud user to take care of this for the most part.

I suggest posting in the various application forums to find out details on compatibility.
Keep in mind that Creative Cloud will become more and more incompatible with CS6 and earlier versions as time goes on and features are added to the software.
