Opening Forms11g -- FRM-18122

Config:
Forms [32 Bit] Version 11.1.1.3.0 (Production)
Win7 Prof. 32-bit
I read 199175.1 FRM-18122 and FRM-18127 When Opening Forms Builder or Running a Form stating
+Although more common in older versions of windows, check the length of the value of FORMS_BUILDER_CLASSPATH. If it is much larger than 512 characters, this could be the problem.+
And yes my FORMS_BUILDER_CLASSPATH is longer, it's
C:\Oracle\Middleware\as_1\jlib\frmbld.jar;
C:\Oracle\Middleware\as_1\jlib\importer.jar;
C:\Oracle\Middleware\as_1\jlib\debugger.jar;
C:\Oracle\Middleware\as_1\jlib\utj.jar;
C:\Oracle\Middleware\as_1\jlib\ewt3.jar;
C:\Oracle\Middleware\as_1\jlib\share.jar;
C:\Oracle\Middleware\as_1\jlib\dfc.jar;
C:\Oracle\Middleware\as_1\jlib\ohj.jar;
C:\Oracle\Middleware\as_1\jlib\help-share.jar;
C:\Oracle\Middleware\as_1\jlib\oracle_ice.jar;
C:\Oracle\Middleware\as_1\jlib\jewt4.jar;
C:\Oracle\Middleware\as_1\forms\java\frmwebutil.jar;
C:\Oracle\Middleware\as_1\forms\java\frmall.jar
That's what the installation put there.
Is the length really the reason? (That means Win7 is older OS?)
In principle Forms-Builder works, but without Help and there was no need fpr the debugger, so far.
Any suggestions for a solution? THX

In a certain way, the story goes on.
I Now tried to import some java classes and I got
PDE-UJI002: Unable to find required Java importer classes
So, I think, forms is not recognizing the CLASS_PATH.
I rechecked, PATH and CLASS_PATH. Tjhey look alright, directtory exists and jars, also.
Since nobody else seems to have an similar problem, I'm gonna upgrade to 11.1.1.4. Or try a re-installation. If time allows.

  • Latest openoffice won't open WordPerfect frm files

    Not sure if this is an openoffice issue or arch/package issue.  Previously with openoffice-base (3.2.1-3) I was able to open WordPerfect frm files.  Yesterday I upgraded to 3.2.1-4 and I can no longer open the .frm files.  Interestingly if I downgrade back to 3.2.1-3 I still cannot open the .frm files.  This leads me to believe it may be related to a dependency?  Below is the output of the upgrade that shows other packages upgraded at the same time:

    that probably broke it. LibreOffice should be affected by this. You may want to try it out.
    Thanks, yes downgrading to 0.8.14-1 worked.  I will report this upstream.  Thanks for your help.

  • Can't open Oracle Form(version 9.0.4)

    Can't open Oracle Form(version 9.0.4) because show alert FRM-18122: Form Builder Debugger failed to Initialize.

    Found in metalink:
    "Set the CLASSPATH to the FORMS90_BUILDER_CLASSPATH did resolves the problem or look that the FORMS90_BUILDER_CLASSPATH is shorter as 512 Characters"
    I don't know if this applies to your problem, but if you seeking for more info see Note:199175.1.

  • Error when opening the form

    Hi everyone,
    While opening a form in one of the Oracle Retail applications the error:
    FRM:41067-Cannot find Menu Item:Invalid ID
    is thrown. However when we click OK, the error goes off and system lets us to continue with using the form.
    On another form, the following 3 errors are thrown as soon as we open it:
    FRM:41091-Cannot find LOV:Invalid ID
    FRM:41828-LOV does not exist
    FRM:40738-Argument 1 to builtin SET_LOV_COLUMN_PROPERTY cannot be null.
    Again this error goes off once we click OK.
    This error is not happening on the base application and is happening only on the customer environment. I checked Oracle Retail specific tables but everything looks fine. Is there any environment specific parameters that could cause this error? Please advice.
    Regards,
    Preeti.

    Preeti,
    The only thing I can think of is that your customer does not have the correct version of the Form that is giving the error. Have your customer bring up the Forms Information screen (sorry, I don't recall the key stroke for this) and have them scroll to the Version section. Then compare this with your form that works. I am guessing that the versions are not the same.
    If they are the same, then you might be dealing with a setup issue. You might want to ask your question in the General EBS Discussion forum. I thought Oracle had a forum for their Retail product, but I couldn't find it. This forum would be the next best.
    Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

  • Cann't open a *.fmb file (with the same version of Form Builder)

    Hello everybody,
    My Form Builder 6.0 cann't open a *.fmb file, created with the same version, even with the same Form Builder tool.
    I worked for long time ago at this module, I saved it many times, I compiled it and it worked very well. But last time it didn't want to work(open). I couldn't open it (FRM-10043: Cannot open file). But the corresponding *.fmx file is working.
    Here is some additional information:
    When I try to rename or replace this file an Windows "There has been a sharing violation. The source or destination file may be in use" error appear. But that file is not in use and it is not shared. Is this helpfull?
    Is there something which can be done?
    Thanks in advance,
    Euge

    Sure. I did that many times. I checked the volume for the errors. I interrupted any share connection. I tried to change the extension of the file and to change it again to *.fmb(I did this on a copy of that file).

  • Tiff saved in PS CC Hangs Lightroom, Photoshop and OS

    This has happened twice in the past week.
    1. Send a CR2 from LR to PS
    2. Edit in PS
    3. Save and return to LR.
    4. Everything appears fine
    5. Hours later, Tiff file cannot be read in LR.  Loading Icon appears and never disappears. Lightroom eventually hangs.
    6. Kill Lightroom - will not kill via Task Manager
    7. Attempt to reboot. System will not reboot.
    8. Hard boot with power switch. System Boots.
    9. Goto PS CC Attempt to open Tiff frm MRU list. Tiff opens but takes minutes instead of seconds.
    10. Hit Save. Save hangs at 91%
    11. Cannot Kill PS CC via Task Manager (either as a program or as a process) - Cannot restart system. Hard boot with Power Switch.
    12. Kill Tiff File with Windows Explorer - Delete takes forever.  Eventually file deletes.
    13. Lightroom and Photoshop return to normal and function as expected with past and newly created Tiff files.
    One time I couild have written off as a fluke but twice in a week with the exact same symptoms points to an introduced corruption surrounding the creation or maintenance of this Tiff file.
    Note that Windows Explorer also has difficulty displaying the Thumbnail for this lone Tiff file.
    Any thoughts? Originally I thought this was a LR issue with a preview cache but have eliminated that.  I normally have my hands on a dozen of these files every day and have never seen behavior like this before.
    A hard system boot via the power switch is a very rare occurance for me (Like once a year).
    Win 7 64 Bit, LR 5.3, PS CC - all are up-to-date. Tiff file is generated from a single exposure Canon 5DMKII.

    If i delete the NLS_LANG environment variable,the Form Builder can be running,but i can't keyboard input[b] chinese characters in the PL/SQL Editor.
    I don't know how to solve the problem,anybody can help me?

    Hello Howard,
    Check out the following link here you can find your desired NLS parameters.
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/globalization/htdocs/nls_lang%20faq.htm
    And about the NLS_LANG for developer why you want to create for developer. Its is already there in REGISTRY. Just seaching in developer registry you can find there.
    how do I set more than 1 at a time.
    You can set only one NLS_LANG parameter at a time.

  • Clear Recent Items from the Dock

    When I right click on Preview on the Dock, it shows a list of recently opened files.  A friend of mine needs to remove those for some reason.....  He tried clicking File>Recent Items>Clear Menu and clicking the Apple Icon>Recent Items>Clear Menu and restarting Preview.  This removes Recent Items from the Menu Bar but not from the Dock.  Another problem is the last picture that thats open appears when Preview is started.  Is it possible to disable this or preferably the entire "Resume" feature of Lion?

    This also happened to me and I was going crazy because the items might of been deleted or from a DVD that is no longer mounted.  So this is how I solved it.
    To summarize, you need to delete or rename some files in your local "Library" directory, ie ~/Library/Preferences directory.
    For the iWork apps and Preview.  Rename these following files with a "~" in the beginning or delete it or to be safe, copy to another location:
    "com.apple.iWork.Keynote.LSSharedFileList.plist" to "~com.apple.iWork.Keynote.LSSharedFileList.plist"
    do the same for these files
    com.apple.iWork.Numbers.LSSharedFileList.plist
    com.apple.iWork.Pages.LSSharedFileList.plist
    com.apple.Preview.LSSharedFileList.plist
    One way to do it through the GUI is open finder, go to the "Go" menu and press the "option" button.
    Choose the Library menu item and open the "Preferences" directory.
    Look for the files mentioned above either rename, delete, or move.
    Close the application and see if the recent items still appear when you right mouse click the icon in the Dock.
    If that doesn't work, then logout and log back in.
    Hope this helps or solves your issue.
    I just used this to delete the recenttly opened items on Quicktime that appeared on the dock even though the 'Recently Opened' folder frm the Menu was empty. It worked like a charm.
    Now I still need to quit the Application after deleting the 'Recently Opened' on the Menu bar in order to make the dock recently opened disappear as well, but it works!
