Opening HTML form using javascript

Hi,
I want a syntax or code in javascript for moving one HTML form to another HTML form. I have to designed the Registration form in HTML. If click the Submit button, then it goes to another form. I validation in javascript. so i want a code for this is in javascript
I tried this codes
location.href='path of file';
and
document.URL='path of file';
But it didn't work properly.
Can anyone help me pls.

Acrobat X Form using Javascript problem

I have a Acrobat Form which I originally created in Acrobat 7 Pro that has a button which executes many lines of javascript. In the javascript there is a large if then else statement group that sets a variable.
I have not worked on this form in many years and recently opened the form using Acrobat X Pro and edited all of the javascript code. The problem is that when I save the document and click on the button it is still executing the previous javascript code for some reason. I have looked everywhere I can think of to make sure there is no remnant of the old code left and cannot find any. It seems like there is a cached copy of the old code somewhere that is being used. I have looked in the properties of the button and in the all javascript area of the forms menu and cannot find any reference to the old code.
Any Idea why this is happening?

The Javascript code populates a field on the form and the If Then statement sets this value based on the amount in another field. I have changed all of the values in the If Then statement but the button is still using the old values.
I have tried this on three different computers and it will not pick up the new values.

Thank you very much for your suggestions.
But I am not creating a custom workflow in designer as Laura has mentioned. I am instead trying to create a new Out of the box Approval Workflow and I get the error mentioned above.
As it works in other environment, I tried figuring out the possible differences which can lead to this error.
Today I found one difference which is there are no form Templates within Infopath Configurations in Central Admin. Now I am trying to figure out what makes this form templates to be added to the template gallery.

Hide an HTML button using javascript

Hi,
I need to hide an html buttton using javascript. I have an radio button with values "YES" and "NO". If is select NO then i need hide the button without refreshing the page. Can anyone suggest me how to hide an button using javascript.

The exact solution will vary based on a few factors. The basic idea is to place an event handler on the radio button item that calls a function to hide/show the button. You might also want to call that function when the page loads too.
If you put an example page on apex.oracle.com and provide the workspace/username/password I'll take a look. You can create a new account for this purpose.

Email form using JavaScript

I would like to perform certain validations when user clicks the email button. However, I am unable to enter any JavaScript in the click event. This event is disabled.
Is there a way to email a form using JavaScript (not through the Submit tab)? This way I can run the validations in the click event, before emailing the form.
Any other suggestions are welcome.

A common solution is to use two buttons. Add a Email Submit Button object and define the presence as 'invisible'. Let's name the object 'EmailSubmitBtn'. Add a Button object and change the caption to 'Email'. Let's call the object 'EmailBtn'. One the 'EmailBtn' click event perform the required validations and then call the click event on the 'EmailSubmitBtn'. You call the 'EmailSubmitBtn' click event as follows:
form1.subform1.EmailSubmitBtn.execEvent("click");

Open Print Dialog using JavaScript

Hi folks, I'm trying to open dynamically the print dialog window for printing the PDF (Ctrl + P) in WebDynpro ABAP using JavaScript.
The JavaScript seems to be executed only for Interactive Forms, however I don't need to use interactive but only Print-Based Forms.
This line of code works if I assign it to an event like click for a button, I tried to call it in the doc:ready event but it does not work
xfa.host.print(1, "0", "0", 0, 1, 0, 0, 0);
Please I need some help and I hope it's possible!

Ok, that works but I would like to have the standard print dialog window instead, where you could select your printers.

Also, script only seems to be executed for interactive forms, I don't want to generate interactive forms, they are more heavy to render, this is only for print based forms!

We have a requirement to display the adobe html forms in read-only format. got to know from adobe consultants that Adobe Livecycle Output ES has this feature. but i am not able to find out any services or components that would give me this functionality.

Thank you so much for being so kind to spend the effort and reply back, I though my question was left behind the sun... but now I am very happy in deed.
To be more specific, the Form has 2 parts. The first part "Subform1" any one can fill and sign.
The second part "Subform2", only certain users can fill and sign.
I think I found a very strong lead to my solution, when I was playing with LiveCycle Desinger few days ago.
On the Singature Field Advanced Setting, there is a place you can attach the public part of a certificate (Digital Signature) of any user, one or more.
In this part, you tell LC that only those users "signing parties" can sign the field. I tested it and it worked.
Now, if I can use this feature via JavaScript to find out if the user who is filling the form, can sign this field, then he can fill the form. If he cannot sign the field, then he cannot fill the form. I can do that by setting the "access" property of the Subform. Another solution is that I can prevent the user from hitting the "Submit" button unless he signes the designated Signature Field.
I have another small issue:
I found out that if the Signature field is part of a repeating dynamic Subform, it will not work during run-time. Very bad in deed. While I cannot understand why ?, I tool this as "By Desing" feature.
Now, if the Signature is locking parts of forms which has dynamic content (repeating subforms), it will always show somthing like "Signature is corrupted or form was changed after it was signed".
Is this normal ? Is there a way to control Dynamic Forms using Digital Signatures without such annoying issues ?

Support for dynamic forms using javascript for android tablet

I have some complex multipage pdf forms with javascript functions and calculations made in Acrobat X Standard, I can open and use parts of the form in ezyPDF android app, however the javascript is not fully supported, does anyone know of any plug ins or work arounds to view my forms on an android tablet, my forma have to be stand alone as internet access is not always available.

Multiple recipient livecycle form using javascript in it to attach a pdf, external recipients get MIME formatted email.

The livecycle designed form has javascript to send the form to 4 recipients. The form worked fine until the mail domain was hosted by gmail (uses TLS, port 587). Now recipients get a MIME email, not the attached PDF. Old versions of the form pre-sept 29 work fine. If we change the form or copy it, it does not work. If we use a different smtp server to test, it works fine, all 4 recipients get the pdf. Any advice is much appreciated! I'd say gmail is the problem, but then why do old forms work fine still through gmail?

First of all, a drop-down menu doesn't allow for multiple item selection. You'll need a list-box field for that.
Once you have that set up you can use the value(s) selected in this field as the recipients of the email.

These tools are not compiled, you know. You have direct access to their source-code and can make sure they don't do anything else beside what they're supposed to do.

you cant use JavaScript here in Web Dynpro. But if you want to calculate the sum through a button click that can be done through the Action Handler method.
Suppose you have 2 fields to add whichare field1 and filed2 in the context tree and the sum will be shown in field3 of context tree - all of numeric data type - obviously. So you can do the following in the action handler method.
int sum = wdContext.currentContextElement().getField1() +
wdContext.currentContextElement().getField2();
wdContext.currentContextElement().setFields3(sum);
