Opening IPD Extension Files

In Blackberry Desktop Manager, backing up files is saved with an "IPD" file extension that
Windows does not recognize. Any suggestions on what is needed to open this type
file?

@Pat0139, you can either use the Blackberry desktop software to restore your blackberry file onto your phone, or use Blackberry Extractor to open the IPD file on your computer and view its contents.
The blackberry desktop software will overwrite your device and you will loose all the current info from the phone. Using the blackberry extractor is a safer option as it does not directly connects with the device and lets you safely extract information from IPD files.

That's a Quest proprietary file extension. You need to use their Toad data modelling tool to look at those files. Unlike TOAD for Oracle there is no free version of Data Modeller. Find out more.

I am trying to open Cold Fusion files using Dreamweaver CC. We've never had a problem with the versions before the Cloud. My co-worker can open using a PC, but I'm using a Mac. I can connect to the server and see the files, but when I open, it opens the file in text editor. I have tried adding the extensions to the Extensions.txt file (they weren't there previously), editing the MMDocumentTypes.xml file (the file type WAS in that file), adding to the Preferences-->File Types/Editors (I can add the extension, but when I try to choose Dreamweaver CC as the editor, I get an error "You cannot use Adobe Dreamweaver CC as an external editor. Please choose a different application."). When I right-click the file, I do not see an "Open With" option, only "Open". Does anyone know of another trick that could make Dreamweaver CC more than an HTML editor for Mac? I cannot us CF Builder - no approval for loading the extra files server-side to use that IDE.

Attachment in UWL is opening except for .TXT extension file

The attachment in the workitem is oppening in SBWP for all file extensions, For the same workitem in UWL its not oppening. It opens only for .TXT extension files. Please advise how to fix this error.

What is the UWLJWF version that you are working with? There were patch fixes on the UWLJWF component in regards to attachments, and if you let me know your UWLJWF full version, I can let you know what patch fixes this issue.

How to open an InDesign file without .indd extension?

I am trying to open an InDesign file which does not have the extension .indd.
I can open the file from InDesign's File-> Open menu item. But if I try to open programmaticaly it says the file format is not supported.
I tried using SDKLayoutHelper::OpenDocument and IDocumentCommands::CreateOpenCommand both gives the same error.

Looks like. I tried in the TextEdit format tab to set all the combinations while opening the file, like plain text, rtf and html without success. Always I get the same signs.

Open .indd layout files in InCopy, different extension possible?

I'm trying to open InDesign layout files in InCopy, so I can edit the incx/icml files. The layout is opened by another application, which runs the default application, and for .indd thats InDesign and not InCopy. Inca files are not available.
Is it possible to change the extension .indd to something else, so it will open in InCopy?
When I rename the file to .inca it seems to work fine, but maybe I'm wrong/missing something. The layout will be removed afterwards, so if InCopy breaks it, it's OK.

No web site expert here but I would suggest changing the .m4v to .mp4 and ask one of those friends if they still have problems. .m4v is something I always associate with iTunes and don't really see it used elsewhere.

I followed your help directions on "Corrupt extension files" under "Unable to install add-ons", foolishly deleting the files you told me to. Now firefox won't open. I tried reinstalling firefox but it still won't open. Now what do I do?

I was trying to install the SEOQuake add on. After clicking install Firefox would hang up saying the script had timed out and asking if I want to stop it or continue. Didn't matter which option I chose nothing would happen. The only way to stop it was to close Firefox and restart. Tried restarting the computer. Still wouldn't install. Tried installing the Outwit add on and got the same error leading me to conclude it was a problem with Firefox, not the add on. You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.<br />

My mistake I miss read your post... usually .SAP files are exports from SAP or shortcuts.... for example if you create a shortcut for a system in your desktop will have a .SAP extention also for example if you export a role to a file in PFCG it will create a file with a .SAP extention.
I presume this files are meant to be uploaded in some way but you will have to explain your scenario

Open a .bbb files with another software than Link to retrieve drafts

I have a Blackberry Q10 which is synchronized with an Exchange account for my work email. I did a full backup of the phone via Blackberry Link before making an update.
My problem, this shift has removed my drafts that existed only on my phone. Usually to made a "memo" I create a new email, I mark the info and I "save" without send. It displays with my other emails but not sync with Exchange (I do it to prevent my very confidential info not roam on an Exchange server).
I made this shift, they disappeared ... I restored the data, they reappear not ...
2 questions at once:
- Is the backup via Link backup me these drafts?
- Is there an soft that allows me to open the file .bbb and check the contents of the backup on my pc. No obligation to restore on the BB but if I can copy that info on another place, this would be very helpful!

As far as I know the .BBB it is not possible to open them, it is a security feature, otherwise it would just defeat the purposse of having a secure device if you could just open a backup file
