  • Can an image of Windows 2000 using NI-VXI 3.5 with a PXI-MXI controller be fielded for multiple computers using sysprep?

I am trying to field an image of Windows 2000 using NI-VXI 3.5 with a PXI-MXI controller.  Can I set the system up to retain to original settings for VXI?  Some of my computers use a PCI-MXI controller.  Although Windows always finds the MXI controller, the original VXI System 0 is not used.  I have several VME instruments set up and the target is about 85 different computers.  Also the NI-GPIB interface does not show in MAX.  Is this supposed to work?

    Hello,
Here's an update regarding the gpib error. There has been a Corrective Action Request (CAR) ID:3BI8A578, filed due to a similar issue of error gpibpnp.exe with NI-488.2 v2.2 on Windows 2000 and Sysprep. This issue's workaround involved going back to install NI-488.2 v2.1 or installing the v2.3 release in order to eliminate the problem. Currently, NI-488.2 v2.3 is no longer available for download, however, all operating systems and hardware supported by NI-488.2 v2.3 are also supported by NI-488.2 v2.4 (see link 1).

  • How to open MAc os after windows installed

    hi
today i install windows 7 ultimate in my 27\ iMAC after i cant open MAC OS what to do

You didn't say how you installed MS Windows so I'm going to assume you followed directions using Boot Camp. If that is correct then restart the machine when you hear the Startup Tone hold down the Option key and choose the volume that has OS X installed on it.
If you did not use Boot Camp then please restate EXACTLY how you installed MS Windows.

  • CS6 won't open all images from Windows Explorer

    Hi!
Today a colleague of mine encountered a strange behaviour with Photoshop CS6 64bit on a Win7-PC (also 64bit), which I could reproduce on a second machine.
Highlighting severeal jpg-images in a folder and hitting the Enter-key opens
all images in Photoshop, when Photoshop wasn't running
only some images (1 - 4 images out of 5) randomly, when Photoshop was already running
The same effect happens when I use the "Open with..."-command from Windows Explorer on the images.
    Does anyone know this issue?
    Regards
    Dieter

Normal behavior. Windows only allows a given number of files to be handed over via DDE and that's what happens when a process is already active. When you do this with no program open, it simply blindly fires a standard command with only one file as an argument, but does so for every single file. That's why it works then. Nothing you can change. It's a limitation in Windows itself combined with the fact that only one PS process can be active....

  • Binding Mac to a Windows 2000 server (Active Directory)

I have been trying to connect various mac machines on my campus to the active directory on a windows 2000 server.and i've been getting various errors.in one lab i have some IMac10,1- mac osx ver 10.6.2 and in the other labs i have lower versions on the Mac pro.I have seen on other forums where others where able to bind the mac machine to windows 2003 server, but no one mentioned windows 2000 server. Please tell me if its possible to add these machines to a windows 2000 server platform.

    Hi,
what is the matter? it is a difficult problem or it is impossible to do that?
Please, if someone have any idea about this ,tell me?
    with advanced thanks.

  • When trying to open tif image from Windows explorer it does not open in PSE 11.

Windows Explorer set to open image files with PSE11, but when I double click on image in WE it launches PSE11, but I then need to click on Open tab in PSE11 to get it into work window.  PSE10 did not have this problem

Found the problem myself.  I had Browsed to Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 "shortcut" icon instead of "PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe" file.  Changed to .exe file and all good.

  • How to increase the limit of open socket sonnections under Windows 2000

    Hello,
I'm testing a java proxy. On a linux machine the proxy handles about 160 requests per second.
On a windows machine it only handles about 12 requests per second. On the other hand apache on the same machine can handle 10 times as many requests.
I think that the amount of open Socket TCP/IP connections available to the java proxy is limited, when I run the program on the windows machine.
I was wondering where and how I can increase the maximum number of open file descriptors (in my case Socket's) ??
In linux you have to change the hard limit of the user. How can I increase the number of possible TCP connections available to a java program?
    Fritz

In your proxy have you implemented the connection keep allive feature.
I think that your problem is with the owerhead of establishing the connection again and again.
Normaly a proxy should use the same socket connection to handle all the requests comming from one client.
And also it should maintane a pool of socket connections to the recently visited web sites and reuse them.
Becouse every client normaly sends multiple requests to the server rapidly to request pages from same site becouse once a page is downloaded it should download all the related files such as images.
If you do not keep the connection allive you will slow down the server

  • How to open .mac bookmark seperate window in Safari?

I used to use Firefox or Camino and when at .mac I could click on 'bookmarks' and a new window would open with the bookmarks more or less displayed [not necessarily updated ]
In Safari a new tab opens but .mac does not appear to offer the same options for the frame as it does when it is a new, albeit small, window.
I enabled pop-ups and also have Saft and Stand installed.
    Thank you!
    iMac 2.0 GHz Intel Core Duo 20" 512MB (early 2006)   Mac OS X (10.4.6)   iBook G4 OS X 10.4.7 256MB

In Stand, uncheck "Open '_blank" Link in a New Tab".
I don't know if Saft also has a similar feature since I don't use it though.

  • Opening Mac project in Windows machine

I just learned today that moving AE projects between Windows and OSX is NOT supported.
Is this something new in CS6...?
    Thanks

This is the error I'm getting everytime I try:
"not enough memory to initialize PSL"
    Any ideas...?

  • Help, window opens when opening new image

Hi, sorry if the title is a bit misleading, but I need help please.
Last week I was just trying to play around with my Photoshop CS6 because I'm still new, but idk what I did.
Now everytime I try to open an image, a window like this opens instead and I can't really edit the picture.
    This something like this happens:
    instead of this:
Please help and thank you in advance.

    Good day!
It looks like you are opening the images without tabs (good choice in my opinion, if you want to change it check out Photoshop > Preferences > Interface > Open Documents as Tabs) but that would not really explain your statement
I can't really edit the picture.
    Which features are non-functional exactly?

  • Windows 2000 no longer supported ?

    Hi,
I would like to report an incompatibility issue.
In order to use some older tools, I wanted to make a VmWare image of Windows 2000. It needed a Java runtime. The java.com website suggested version 6.24, and listed Windows 2000 as one of the targets. This version does not install, however. It complains about a missing DLL, and even when you supply that DLL, it stops completely a little later.
I next downloaded an older version, version 6, and it worked first time.
I think this should either be fixed, or it should be displayed that Windows 2000 is no longer supported, with the website then suggesting a working version.
    Regards, Matt

Okay. But the people you want to reach don't look here. You need to create a bug report in bugs.sun.com and then maybe after a few months someone will take a look at it and think "Windows 2000? Even Microsoft doesn't support that anymore. Won't fix".
The real answer you have already found. If you must use an outdated unsupported OS, you will need to use an outdated version of Java to match it.

I'm trying to open tiff files with javax.imageio.ImageReader. When openning the image file, "bad.TIF" with the following codes, I got an error. However, I can open the image with "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" (WPFV). After I opened/saved as File "good.TIF" with WPFX, I can open the image with the progarm. Would someone please help? Thanks.

Can you upload the bad tiff to an [image hosting site|http://www.imagehosting.com/]?
In general, when you set the input stream on a reader for a second time, it's a good idea to call reset.
    errorPos = 2;
    file = new File(testFile2);
    tiffStream = ImageIO.createImageInputStream(file);
    reader.reset();  <----- this line
    reader.setInput(tiffStream);
tiffImage = reader.readAll(0, reader.getDefaultReadParam());I don't think that's the source of your problems though. You can add an IIOReadUpdateListener and a IIOReadWarningListener to the reader to see just how far it gets just before the exception is thrown. It may very well just be a badly saved tiff, or it could be a tiff image reader bug.

  • How do I get firefox to display images clearly? I've got Windows 2000 Pro and Firefox 3.6.6. Internet Explorer shows images clearly, so I'm sure I have the correct graphics driver. Do I need a plugin or add-on of some sort? When I go to "updates", it

When I use Firefox the images and logos don't show up clearly/correctly. I'm using Windows 2000 Pro. and just installed Firefox 3.6.6. I'm sure I have the right graphics driver as I'm able to see the images and logos clearly in Internet Explorer. I only have the "default plugin 1.0.0.15" installed. I'm thinking that I'm missing a plugin or add-on of some sort, but I'm not sure which one(s). When I go to "updates" it says there were no updates available. When I go to "Add-ons" it gives a list of Add-ons but I'm not sure which would help my issue. Any help would be appreciated.:)

  • Errors on open large jpeg files in Windows 2000

    Q. I am having problems opening large jpeg files (eg 40"x30" @270 ppi)
after having saved them in Windows 2000
    A. This is a known issue and can be resolved either by turning off
thumbnails for JPEGS or by using the JPEG2000 file format. The
Photoshop plugin for Windows can be obtained from Adobe:-

This is from the post at this site: Re: Adobe CS6 file associations are all messed up
Just change the directory to the correct EXE for cc 2014 and you should be good.

Here is a registy fix for Win7 machines to the file association problem.
    This from TinusHDCA user:
I installed Photoshop CS6, then found CS5 was still there. I thought, hey, I don't need CS5 anymore, so I uninstalled CS5. then I found out that Photoshop was no longer available in 'Open with' when right-clicking an image...
    So I went into the Registry, HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\Photoshop.exe\shell\open\command, and changed the (Default) from "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 Bit)\Photoshop.exe" "%1" to "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\Photoshop.exe" "%1" (so changed CS5 to CS6) - and now I see 'Adobe Photoshop CS6' in my 'Open with' list when right-clicking an image...
