Opening of Excel files in SAP

I have a custom program which displays data in an ALV (Non OO) format. There is this excel button that the user can click to display the spreadsheet in the same SAP screen. However, some users are reporting an empty spreadsheet when they clicked on the button, even though the data are showing fine in the ALV display. Exporting to a spreadsheet works fine for them. So far, we have tried a couple of cases and it seems that only those running Excel 2002 instead of 97 have this problem. Are there other possible reasons for this? Or is there a workaround for the problem.
Another problem faced by a particular user running Excel 97 is that even though the ALV display shows of 32 rows of data, the Excel spreadsheet only shows 17 records. We tried it on different PCs running Excel 97 and it turns up the same results. As predicted, PCs running Excel 2002 could not display any records. We are really scratching our heads on this. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
This is what I did, I suggest that you try doing this because mine worked:
1.  Go to SE41
2.  Put this program name - SAPLKKBL
3.  And type STANDARD in Status
4.  Press Control+F6
5.  Copy the STANDARD Status in your program
Type the following in your code.  This enables you to add a button and at the same time has the standard buttons in ALV Grid.
