Opening rpt - using IE

Hey,
Currently, our end user's run Crystal Reports from one of our website's. The reports run fine without problems.
A user of this has asked the question:
Can they save this .RPT to their desktop and run it using only the Crystal Report Viewer? (which runs in Internet Explorer). To to emphasize, they do not have access to the full Crystal product.
When we have tried to simply run one of the saved reports from the desktop, it simply says check the file path. If I change the RPT file extension so it opens with IE, it asks to open the file, you click open, and it asks the question again - an infinate loop.
Doe anyone know if this is possible, or any ideas?

I have downlaoded Crystal Report Viewer XI from Business objects website but I can not view crystal reports in the web. My Crystal reports uses Stored proceedures with Variables, so in my asp code that calls .rpt I pass login, password, and prompts. But when the web trys to view report it opens a download page and only opens the report in design mode. My code worked perfect for Crystal 8.5 but it does not work for Crystal XI. What do I need to do that is different?

Using Crystal Reports as the default for opening .rpt files

Hi all,
I know this is a simple question with a simple answer, but I'm baffled, so here goes. I'm using Crystal Reports 2008 and I have the Crystal Report Viewer installed on my computer. I want to open .rpt files with Crystal Reports 2008 as the default application, not Crystal Report Viewer.
When I right-click the .rpt file I have three options, Crystal Report Viewer 2008, Microsoft Visual Studio Version Selector, and Choose Program. When I select Choose Program, then click the Browse button, Crystal Reports is not available as one of the programs to choose.
When I look at the programs available via the Control Panel, I see Crystal Reports 2008, but I'm not able to select it as the default for opening .rpt files. I'm assuming the program file is in my Program Files folder somewhere in the Business Objects folder, but I'm not sure which file I need to set Crystal as the default program. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

CRXIR2 - Report is stuck when trying to open report using RDC library

I'm working on .Net reporting appliaction that uses CRXI R2 (Embedded Server) as a reporting engine.
I have a problem with a customer in prodction site,
when trying to open report with RDC library, report hangs and nothing happens:

I've added log printing to my application, and what i see is that the first print ("Open Report using RDC") occurs, and the second print is never listed..
I don't see any errors or log prints appear in Crystal logs.

Long time since we've talked. I suggest logging a case in SMP. If you do let me know what the case number is and I'll pick it up. I'll also send you an e-mail....
I take that back, because R2 is no longer supported you can't log a case....
First issue is the RDC is not supported in .NET, second issue is the RDC is only available in CR XI R2 which is no longer supported.
And finally it's about time you update your app to use the CR .NET Assemblies. All of our OEM Partners are now doing so.
In the mean time these 2 are the only versions officially not supported:

Install Fix Pack 6.4 to get all of the fixes and use the redist packages for that version also.

Downloads from iTunes on my macbook air do not download on my desktop but remain in iTunes folder which refuse to open for use.

Downloads of what? Songs? Apps? Books?
If you're talking about apps, then you have downloaded iOS apps which are intended to run on an iPhone or iPad, not a Mac.

Not able to open document using anchor tag in firefox

Hello Friends,
I would really need your help in solving this issue.My application is deployed in server machine.
I'm accessing the application through fire fox. In my application, i have a link where i need to open a document on click of it.
For this, i am using html anchor tag.
Eg:
Test
where IP is the server machine address and dir is the shared directory.
It works in IE but didn't work in fire fox. Please help me out on to fix it.

Had to uninstall iWork trial since I bought the pages app and it wouldn't let me print or save. Now the app store says I have pages installed but I can't find it anywhere to open and use it. I'm not very computer savvy and am getting frustrated!

Ooops, guess I didn't need to post everything in the title - sorry! I bought the pages app - but couldn't save or print so with some online searching found that I had to uninstall the iWork trial which had expired. I did that - but now I can't figure out how to re-install the pages app!! The app store says it's installed, but I can't find it anywhere to open and use it. I'm not very computer savvy - and am a first time Mac user and am getting extremely frustrated! I e-mailed some help center and they can't seem to help me either. I would appreciate any help/advice that can fix my problem - thanks in advance!!

OK Apple has stuffed up the demo version upgrade process so the first thing you need to do is get rid of the demo.
That includes getting rid of the files in the system.
The instructions how to do that are here:
Note That where you see / that is the sequence of folders, each nested inside each other.
User/Library/Preferences the com.apple.iwork.Keynote.plist
Means the User (you, the little home icon, whatever you are called on your computer) then the Library folder inside that and then the Preferences folder inside that.
Lion initially hides the System folders from you so you have to go to the Finder > Menu > hold down the option key and click on GO > Library to see it.

Note that nowhere in the Boot Camp instructions does it tell you to use Disk Utility to format the Windows partition. The Boot Camp Assistant program creates the partition & sets the +partition scheme info+ of the disk as appropriate for the Windows installer but the Windows installer itself is responsible for formatting the new partition with the appropriate +file system scheme+ (NTFS for Windows 7).
If you follow the instructions in the Boot Camp Installation & Setup Guide to the letter you should have no problems installing Windows.

Not able to process open items using F-53

Hello All,
I am trying to process open items using F-53, I m getting error message as "Entry SAG1 is missing in table T043G". This was working fine for GL accounts, but failing for vendors.
I checked the tolerance group for same and its fine and also tried checking table se16, but not able to find the root cause of issue. please let me know how can i resolve this.

Check following...
1. Make sure you have created one null (Blank) tolrance group using transaction OBA3 for your company code SAG1...
2. If you do not want to create null tolerance group then make sure you have mapped the tolerance group created to the customer master and also see the use assignment...

I am receiving pop up alerts when opening and using firefox stating "win 7 total security 2011 has blocked a program" is this a virus and how can i fix it?

Whenever I open or use Firefox I'm receiving a pop up message telling me I am under attack and my info is at risk and I am being prompted to activate "win 7 2011 total security" to remove the threat.
I have run my own virus scan and nothing is detected.
Is this legitimate from Firefox?
If not, how do I safely remove the threat?

Look in your Applications folder. If your system behaved as expected, you should have an iMovie 9.0 folder in your Applications folder. Apple moved the old version there as even they suspected the new versions was a train wreck.

If you created it in Forms Central, you have to edit it there. I believe Forms Central is similar to LiveCycle Designer in that the form created is no longer able to be edited in Acrobat. I might be wrong, but that is my understanding. You add the submit button in Forms Central. Within Acrobat, you should be able to go to the forms menu and Manage Data to save the data to an Excel file. Others better with forms should be by to clarify things, but this should get you started. In the future you might find it better to post a forms question in the forms discussions.

I think you may be confusing bookmarks with thumbnails. If you click the Page Thumbnails icon (the one above the Bookmarks icon), then you can delete a page by clicking its thumbnail, and clicking the Delete Pages icon (the trashcan icon). Just make sure that you're viewing the PDF file in Acrobat (rather than Acrobat Reader), as you can't delete pages from Reader.

again i need pass value from test2.jsp to test1.jap
normal jsp programming we can use window opener
javascipt function to do above.
same thing how to us in weblogic workshop?
