When I am looking on any website such as Ebay, Asda etc and click on next page or view item unwanted pages are opening up sometimes 4 or 5 pages. Also I can not get rid of pop ups, I have disabled them, retarted Firefox updated everything and these problems are still an issue.

How can I eliminate the constant attempt of add-ons opening in new tabs and tabs redirecting everytime I open a page or website that I DO want??

No matter what page or website I am on, as soon as I go to another website or want to open a page of my choosing, multiple unwanted pages try to open wanting me to add on, install, etc. or additionally, get tabs opening that say redirected. Result is that the whole time I spend on the net, I keep having to close 2 or 3 tabs of wanted pages constantly trying to open before I can stay on the one I actually want.
In addition, is there any way to modify or eliminate the constant popups opening on the sides, the bottom, and tops of pages...all over the place, while I'm trying to view a page. I spend more time trying to close all that junk before I can read something and then it even comes back and I have to do the same thing again.?????????

Sounds like you have have inadvertently picked up a dose of Malware.
Sometimes a perceived problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

Hi Irene; welcome to the club!
Assuming your file is stand-alone, you probably have the pagination set to double-sided and "make page count odd"... so a trailing left page would always be generated.
If your file(s) are in a book, the pagination of Chapter 1 is actually controlled by how Chapter 2 is set to open, and so on through the book. If Chapter 2 is set to start on a right hand page, Chapter 1 will generate a blank page at the end of the file, if it's required to make Chapter 2's opening page happen correctly. This ripples all through the book. Note that pagination in a book is controlled by the book file -- right click one or more component files to see the pagination properties.
In either case, you can temporarily delete the extra pages by using Special > Delete Page, but it'll pop back up when the file is saved / reopened unless you track down which pagination property is causing it and change that setting.

My HP2025 prints unwanted pages from web crawlers.

Everday I find at least 3 unwanted pages have been printed by my HP2025 printer. The text usually only consists of the address for a website plus a few lines of text. Here is one of the more frequent examples:

I've been told that this due to an open internet port on the printer being hit by a webcrawler and the printer interprets this as a request to print something.

It appears that you are launching the old version, probably using an icon in your Dock. That icon is an alias & is not updated. You will need to go to your Applications folder & find the new Pages 5 icon & double-click it. Once it is launched, you can right-click on the icon & choose Options > keep in Dock from the contextual menu.

Open all pages from last session

Occasionally, safari will die. When I restart safari:
is there a function to open all pages from last session?
does firefox have this function? I thought I saw it within firefox, but I can't find it now. If this function is in firefox, where is it?

Firefox should do it automatically.

Here's what you have to do.
You set up your column link like this:
Link text: whatever you like
Link attributes: onclick="return false;" class="open_modal"
Target: Page in this application
Page: number of the page you want to open in your modal window
You set up your dynamic action like this:
Event: Click
Selection type: jQuery selector
jQuery selector: .open_modal
(notice the dot at the beginning!)
Action: SkillBuilders Modal Page (2.0.0) [Plug-in]
Event Scope: Dynamic
And finally, in your True Action (SkillBuilders Modal Page (2.0.0)), URL Location should be set as Attribute of Triggering Element.
And that's pretty much all it takes.

Firefox 21.0 crashes I attempt to open a page containing video

When ever I open any page containing a video, such as any youtube page my browser immediately closes and presents me with a crash report I believe this started happening after a firefox or adobe update a few weeks ago. The problem continues when Im in safe mode and Ive tried many suggested fixes including updating flash, reinstalling firefox, disabling hardware acceleration, checking for conflicting realplayer, editing my the flash cfg file, and so on but non of those had any effect and It's sad cause I know from looking though these forums and elsewhere that others are having the exact same problem and these solution aren't working for anyone.
I couldn't find any answers to the problem so I reverted to firefox 20.1 decided to wait for next update, as there seems to be a flash update a couple weeks. Somehow I ended up back on FF21.0 and so Im here again asking the same question before I re-revert. So here are the details again.
Im Post my reports and spec like this because non of these options; "automatically" "try these manual steps" or "Show details" work for me in my outdated IE which is the only working browser I have atm. The first report shows results with addons enabled and all my usual settings the second show results with in safe mode. As you can see the two are the same for the most part

You probably have not seen anyone reporting the exact same problem as you. All three crash reports have the same crash signature and as currently ranked 67 it is not the commonest of reasons for a crash.
I hope you enter your email contact information when reporting crashes. I note you see this crash when using videos, others may possibly see this crash in other circumstances.
You have already tried the obvious, attempts at a fix so it is now down to wait and see, maybe developers working on the bug will report something or fix it.
Did you try my suggestion of installing portable ESR ?

My 2nd gen works fine with WPA2 and AES encryption.
You may need to go back and start over. Reset the router back to factory defaults, log on as the admin, set up security, DHCP, and make sure the IP address pool has enough IP addresses to lease to ALL of the computers/devices that will connect to that the router.

Adding javascript to page open and page close in acrobat 8.1.2

Reading the Acrobat Javascript Object Specification on page 22 it says that you can add javascript to the "page open" and "page close" events of a document.
It then says that under the menu "Document -> Set page action" you can add scripts for those events
I am using Acrobat 8.1.2 and under the document menu there is no "Set page action". And there is nowhere where I can find any "set page action" menu...
whats the deal?

This is my first go at this so be kind,
My question concerns launchpad. Coming from Snow Leopard I had been using spaces. I like to keep certain bundles of programs on separate desktops, for example all word processing related tasks in one place. I have set up the equivalent on Yosemite.
My problem is concerns the loss of exposé. Now I know when you swipe into launch pad you get a very similar effect but the issue I am having concerns the "zoom out" effect when you swipe into launchpad. With exposé all open apps/pages etc would be fully exposed - in my case several (sometimes as many as 9 word documents). What I am running into is when I do this in / into launch pad the "pile" of docs is exposed but they are still overlapping so I can't get a good look at which is which and visually identify where I want to navigate to.
My question is this; Is there a way to adjust the settings on launchpad so that when I swipe into it all the open apps/pages are fully separated (like in exposé) so that I can fully view all of them simultaneously? If so, instructions on how to do so would be greatly appreciated. Any alternative suggestions to doing this outside of launchpad are also welcome. If there is an exposé app for example, I would be quite willing to go that route.
My main concern is being able to quickly (ie a touchpad gesture) expand all the open pages so I can bounce between them.

Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately no that does not solve it. Same as swipe it will get me there and it will show separate programs spaced out. The issue I am having is that all my open word files are bunched up in a pile on top of each other. I can see the edges of each one but I want them to be separated from each other enough that I can visually identify what file is what.

Error while opening a page

Hi,
I'm trying to put some jquery scripts to create a lightbox on a webpage. I'm testing Lightbox2 putting the code and the scripts in the page using DreamWeaver. When try to open the page appears the attached error, but when click cancel the page loads well and the script seems to work correctly.
Why is this error showing? What can i do to eliminate it?

- Stop Apache
- Clear the cache as per (How To Clear Caches (Apache/iAS, Cabo, Modplsql, Browser, Jinitiator, Java, Portal, WebADI) for E-Business Suite? [ID 742107.1])
- Start Apache
Please also check that you have no errors in the database log file.
