  • Openings for SAP XI

    Hi,
Can any one tell me how are the openings for XI in U.S,couple of my friends told these days the market for XI is not good.
    Regards,
    Raju.

    Hi,
You can contact your local job placement agencies as well as can search on Job portals. There are numerous openings for XI these days and I am sure if you have good knowledge then you will get a job for sure.
Just start searching for it rather than being negative that openings are less.
       All the best.

  • SAP SD openings

    Hi
Can you suggest me that Insurance Industries do have openings for SAP SD????
If yes than from wr i will get to know about openings and how it works???
I have worked for Insurance sector for almost 5 yrs but in Business Development..
Is SAP Sd really faith ful to my previous expericence???

Where there is a WILL, there is a WAY.
We easily get carried away by the term recession. There are plenty of oppurtunity even now in & outside US. India alone is full of oppurtunity, then why worry about other country. I would also update that even today there are opening in US also.

  • Know about sap xi

    hi expects,
i want know about sap xi?and how is openings in sap xi.
                                                                                    thank you

    Hi Rohit,
SAP XI is basically an Integration technology and platform for
    A2A (Application to Application) Scenarios
    B2B (Business to Business) Scenarios
Synchronous and Asynchronous message exchange etc
It is not a single component but consist of various components that work together flexibly at runtime
Architecture of SAP XI consist of
    SLD (System Landscape Directory)
Integration Repository (Integration Builder - Design)
Integration Configuration (Integration Builder - Configuraion)
    Runtime Workbench
SLD basically allows central maintainence of system that we want to integrate
We provide details of systems in our Landscape
Integration Repository allows design of various objects that we use whil configuring the scenario in Integration Directory . We use s/w components from SLD here
Integration Directory this is the place where we configure the scenario using objects developed in Repository and system information (system catalog) from SLD
And finally Runtime workbench (Integration Monitoring) allows runtime monitoring of our scenarios
I hope this gives little bit idea about the architecture
Details you can always get at help.sap.com

  • What is best for my career: Sap ABAP or Sap BI

    Hi Experts,
I am Rajesh, done my bachelor degree in Information Technology,
having 4 years of Exp as a Mainframes Programmer in a Banking Software company.
    my job containts
    30 % understanding the product
    40 % Analysis
    30 % Programming
my career Goal is to get SAP job in Abroad(US/UK/AUS) for that i am planning like below:
First i want to gain some minimum(8-10 Months) Exp in India by
Choosing one Best(or)Hot Cake Module in SAP, which matches any one of 3 points
1)Currently that module should have more demand less supply.
    2)Should have good Future
3)it should not be much vast Because need to expertise Early
I already Trained and good in SAP-Core ABAP,
but just Core ABAP is not enough to get expertise in ABAP, because i need to add it with
    OOPS, Webdynpro, Workflow ETC.
even i Trained in all the above, it is difficult to be Expert in 1 YR.
and Hard to get job in US/UK/AUS.
So i am planning to go with SAP-BI for below Reasons
    1) SAP BI is not that much Vast compare to ABAP for becoming an Expert on it
    2) for Skill Set ABAP+BI, can have good openings
    3) SAP-BI is a techno functional Job, where ABAP is not a final Destination.
    4) in Future, BI will help to get into HANA.
I request you to guide me, whether my decision towards my Goal is correct or not,
if not, please give valuable Suggestions to reach my destination.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Rajesh

    Hi Rajesh,
as per as your selection of module, its a good mix, but i have a few words that i wants to share with you. Being a developer in sap abap i have come across some points where many indivisuals get strucked by asking what is next.
Started with sap abap you will have many options to go ahead, as you have seen that the combination of BI along with ABAP has an added advantages, and yes later on you can move towards HANA, one of the major sap module in which the database of sap persist in furure.
As far as i concern, if you wants to be in technical stream of sap you will have UI5, Webdynpro, Workflow, BW/ BI, HANA etc, so you may go ahead with these options, but as you have told that you wants to get hands on these things in one year, i think you have to devote in abap as much as possible
what you will require to know the syntax and semantics used in SAP, along with all the stuffs associated with it, once you will get familiar with it, you can play as you wants.
But one thing more is that its not mandatory to have sap abap knowledge to learn other technologies,  you can learn without abap, but if yiu have hands on in abap somehow it will boost your future in related technilogies.
So, finally your decision is on right track, what you will need is to get it as your passion.

I would like to pursue my career as SAP HR Techno Functional. Please Advice.
    Advance Thanks,

    Thanks KG.
Some companies didnt short list my resume, as i have only 2.5 years of exp as functional.  though am confident of doing functional role, seems technical door is wide opened.
How about openings for SAP techno-functional?  Heard only small companies have techno functional positions and most of the MNC's have separate positons for technical and functional.
I am in dilemma, which one to go for. anyone had simillar experience?

  • PM Querry

    hi everybody
R ther any openings in SAP-PM for domain experts. If  any requirements are there plz tell the same anybody?
    thanks&regards
    pushpa

    Hi Pushpa,
Installed Base in PM is actually linking the serial numbers of whole assembly. Like you can further drill down in future, as to know which ROH component (or HALB) is assembled with which FERT ( or any other assembly).
    IB51 to create Installed base
IB61 create with reference to Sales order
COIB with reference to the Prod. order
And about work center capacity, you can give the total no. of pieced that can be produced on the work center, using Line hierarchy LDB1.
Reward if cleared and close the thread.

    Hi,
the IT background self is not enough; you must learn about activities related to maintenance in a plant, which means some mechanical work, leading with staff, tools, services, processing times, suppliers, etc.
The story is the same in case of MM. You must lead with purchasing, logistics, distribution, disposition of row materials, purchase orders, delivery orders and a long etcetera.
Chech at [SAP Educatio|https://service.education.sap.com/sap%28bD1lbiZjPTAwMSZkPW1pbg==%29/bc/bsp/sap/hcm_learning/catalog.htm]n the available courses and what is expected in every course from you. Read also in the corresponding forums what PM and MM is all about.
