OpenPS 4.0 doesn't work in Microsoft Project

Hi,
I have installed the OpenPs 4.0 but when I enter to the Microsoft Project the software doesn't work. When I click in "connect" button the message "logon failed" appears. Sometimes it locks and the Microsoft Project closed.

It's the MSP 2007 Standard English Version and SAP ECC 6.0 version. I've already installed the MSP 2003 with the OpenPS 2.02 and MSP 2007 with the OpenPS 2.02... All possibilities but no success.

Save as no longer works; it doesn't work in Microsoft either. I've only been using this forever.

I'm not sure how long this has been going on, a couple of months? I was able to get download to work by setting the address to "download". The "save as" doesn't work ... it only has save and until I changed the setting, it didn't save at all. I do a lot of genealogy which entails copying and saving as.
Because it doesn't work in Microsoft, I thought they turned off something in one of their updates, but getting them to admit it .. well. I can't be the only one suffering with this problem.
I am using an Elitebook 8540p with Win 8.1. I have Office 2013.

The DB tools doesn't work with Microsoft SQL

I am tring to write series of waveforms to a database. The DB tools doesn't work with Microsoft SQL, but when i replace the SQL with Access, it works fine. I have to use SQL in the application.
Any advice pls?

Right off hand I would say the problem is that you are connecting through ODBC. Try the native SQL Server driver, your connect string should define the provider as "SQLOLEDB.1".

Numbers 3.2 has changed too much, it doesn't work with my project anymore. How do I revert back to the previous version I was using?

Numbers 3.2 has changed too much, it doesn't work with my project anymore. 1) The sheet panels used to be on the left hand side and easily reviewable and searchable, but now they are on the top and it's harder to find a specific folder without scrolling (too time consuming), 2) I used to be able to duplicate a folder within my sheet panel window by simply clicking on a folder and hitting Command D, but that doesn't work now so it looks like I'll have to spend even more time to recreate the same tables that used to be easily duplicated, and 3) I can't choose fill colors that matched my project anymore because there are only limited choices available now. And these are only the changes that I'm aware of. I am very disappointed and frustrated. Whatever the motivation was to limit Numbers 3.2, I want the previous version back. How do I revert back to the previous version I was using?

You can scroll more quickly between sheets if you don't use the left-right triangles, but instead move the cursor up into the bands with the "tabs" and drag right or left.
Also, if you have a lot if sheets for which you want a quick vertical list, then you can try the following have something like this pop up (showing your sheet names automatically) whenever you hit a keyboard shortcut (in my case shift-command-j):
This is done via a Jump to Sheet Automator Service (Dropbox download). To install just doubleclick the .workflow package and (if needed) click 'Download Anyway' in System Preferences > Privacy & Security.
This will cause a new item to appear in your Numbers > Services menu. Then, if you want a keyboard shortcut, go here in System Preferences and add one:
You can rename or remove the service by holding down the option key in Finder and choosing Go > Library > Services. You can also view the AppleScript contaned within the service by opening the .workflow package in Automator.
This particular service jumps to the first cell of the first table of the sheet you choose from an automatically generated list of all sheets in the current document.

The back button doesn't work for microsoft outlook

To respond to your comments first of all, the Bookmarks toolbar has been removed in Firefox 4.0
The back button should work as it normally does, but you can also right click it and select it from the list.
To revert to a previous version of Firefox, download v3.6.16 from here: [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html Download Firefox v3.6.16]
Then uninstall Mozilla Firefox 4.0 choosing to keep your bookmarks, customizations etc.
Finally run the Firefox installation file you downloaded earlier.

My Applet Doesn't work in Microsoft VM!

I created an Applet with Sun One Studio 4 CE, using the form editor.
It also uses the class java.util.Timer, and some classes that extend Frame and Dialog that are used to create new windows from the applet. When I Start my Applet in a computer with Microsoft VM, the applet stays gray. It works perfectly with the sun One VM. I really need to make it work in Microsoft VM. can someone Help me?

Your applet probably makes use of methods and objects added in Java 1.2 or later. It might never work with the Microsoft VM (Java 1.1.4). Besides, the days of the MS VM are numbered...

Site doesn't work in Microsoft explorer 6 PC

I've made a site in golive CS3 on a Mac. On all browsers Safari - Firefox - Opera - internet explorer it works perfect .

There appears to be an object (probably an empty text frame) on top obscuring most (all?) of the menu. The object has no stroke or fill. IE up through 10 have a bug that allows mouse events to pass through objects that have no fill or stroke (that's contrary to the HTML spec and not how other browsers work).
Remove the empty object and everything should work as expected.

BitmapData draw method doesn't work when the project is published as the .swf file of the web applic

        I am totally confused by this strange error. When I tried using the draw method of BitmapData to draw a movieclip symbol of my project, it seems to work fine locally. However, as I uploaded the published .swf file to my web server and launched it as the plugin of my web application, it failed. The source codes as follows,

message3 didn't show at all. Instead, the browser console shows "Uncaught Error: Error calling method on NPObject.". My understanding of this error message is that the .swf is calling something crashing, and I believe that bd.draw(stage)is the crashng method call.

My real purpose in this application is to capture a snapshot of a streaming video. The video is contained in a movieclip object. I tried stage first since BirmapData.draw() doesn't work when drawing the movieclip on the web site. Do you have any suggestion for this situation? Also, is there any good method to find out what happened if the browser have "Uncaught Error: Error calling method on NPObject."?

Edge audio doesn't work in DPS project

Being very happy after latest update of Edge CC, I've decided to make DPS project for iPad.
First, when I chose "autoplay" button for audio timeline, I got a warning about sound autoplay option is not supported at digital devices (??). So what should I do? To not use the autoplay?
Second, a preview of Edge animation in web-browser works perfect (both background sound and a sound for user interaction) - BUT when I put .oam file in DPS, the sound just DOESN'T WORK.
I tried everything - check-uncheck "autoplay", check-uncheck "preload audio", put an audio as a trigger.. no sound in iPad.
And when I put audio file directly into Indesign, a sound works perfect in iPad.
What's going on?

No, not exactly. iOS and other mobile devices can playback HTML 5 audio, which is what Animate outputs.
But the fact of the matter is that autoplay for audio (and preloading) is not supported by mobile devices - it's a limitation manufacturers build into their devices. Therefore, to use audio from Animate in mobile devices, you have to initiate audio playback from a user event, such as touchstart or click.
We warn you of this in Edge Animate when you turn on autoplay (warnings appear at the bottom of the Stage).

Open Outlook Contact doesn't work in Microsoft Lync for Mac ver14.0.10

I built an OS X VM, and installed office for mac 2011, Lync for mac 2011. But the Open Outlook Contact button in Lync Contact Card is gray (I cannot click it). It shows below error.
I can click that button but no response in my MACBOOK PRO.
It's crazy for me. Can you share the software download location and install sequence with me?
I downloaded Office for Mac 2011 & Lync for Mac 2011 from my MSDN subscription download.

Inn-app purchase native extension by Adobe doesn't work when the project is compiled for over-the-air installation

I need the IAP functionality in my project. I've take the Inn-app purchase native extension by Adobe. During the developing process the extension worked fine. But when I've compiled my app for OTA (with corresponding certificate and provisioning file) the extension stops work. When the app calls purchase method nothing happens (when the app was compiled with development certificate and provisioning file I could run the full purchase process)

I've fixed the problem. It was related to the wrong configuration of the bundle name.

Cut, Copy, and Paste doesn't work for some Project files

We have some Project files where the Cut, Copy, and Paste function is not working. Suspecting corruption, I tried doing a "Save for Sharing", to no avail.
Is there a switch setting that we are missing?
We are using Project Server v2010 with SP2. Our Project Pro clients are on SP2.

It could be due to a enterprise global corruption. Does it happen on a specific enterprise view? Does it work well in the default Gantt view?
Try to open the enterprise global and make a copy of the table with the same fields and attributes, then replace the old table with the new one in all the relevant views.

Debug doesn't work but run project does.

I am developing a project in netBeans that I have been able to run the regular way and also in debug mode.
Suddenly this morning the debug mode will not deploy, even though I can get it to work by doing a "run project." Here is the error message I get in my debug output console:

Any ideas how to fix? If the project exists in both xml files, which one should it be in?

There are some known issues filed in issuzeilla, that seem related:

The "fix" appears to be using 9.1.
If your app uses struts, you may be able to update the struts jars to address.this issue....

Sending emails in Apple's Mail doesn't work, yet Microsoft Entourage does, Why?
This is the conversation I've been having with my server tech, and they can't find the reason why I can send mail in Microsoft Entourage no problem, yet Apple Mail receives but not able to send any email what so ever..

That definitely seems odd. Since it works fine with Entourage, that would indicate the server is working properly. Additionally, I've tested the SMTP server from here (on a Mac) and am able to connect. I do not have a valid user to send email with, but I can try it if you want to provide me with the one you are trying, temporarily.

Your server only supports CRAM-MD5 and PLAIN authentication. You will need to use plain text authentication. I have never configured mac mail so I do not know how to configure this, you may want to speak with someone a apple support if you have trouble.
