    i try to use OpenPS4MSP Version 2.02(logon SAP system with chinese-ZH) to download & upload PS data,but i get unreadable code when WBS description is chinese.
    does OpenPS4MSP Version 2.02 just suport English & German?

I am working on JSPs and Oracle 9i with Tomcat 4.1.29. Suppose we have the very simple example of a user who registers through an HTML form by entering his name, surname and his picture via the "Browse" field (input type="file" etc). Everything so far so good for now until the next page waits for the parameters.
My main problem is how to tell my server (tomcat) that the remote user browsed his file from e.g. c:\docs\pics\vacation\ ??? As far as i can remember the JSP code is server sided so i can't tell tomcat that the file is in c:\docs\pics\vation\ . And finally: how do i grab the picture for the user's dir? The rest i know, how to put it in the BLOB column and so on. And also, is there any way of checking if the user uploads a photo or anything else except than examining the extension?

File formats for uploading/download

Hi Experts,
Loading of data(master/transaction) involved two steps.
1. Loading file to Data files folder .
2. From Data file folder to BPC application.
For step1, what are BPC allowed file formats? Is it only .txt & .csv?
For step2 , what are BPC allowed file formats?
For downloading data from BPC to flat files, what are allowed file formats?

You should be able to check the DEFAULT_EXTENSIONS parameter in the application set parameters to see what is allowed and control allowed file types. You can see the documentation on this topic here: [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_bpc75_nw/helpdata/en/f7/d21edd2f4c4f78b0a5be2b16e19ca1/frameset.htm]
As far as file types for export, this is determined by the data manager package exporting the data. I believe the delivered data manager packages usually export in a CSV format with a file extension of your choosing, but a custom package could export data in any format required.

Cancel waiting for upload - iTunes connect

Hi All,
I've inherited a bunch of apps and need to transfer them to a new app store account.
9 out of 10 worked fine ....
The last one is marked as "waiting for upload" which is non transferrable.
How can I cancel a version that is in waiting for upload so I can transfer it across?

For the downloading of apps:
• Are you unable to download any apps from the Windows Phone Store?
• What exactly happens when you download them?
• Is there any error message or code?
• Which connection are you using? Wi-Fi or cellular data? Do you have a stable internet connection?
• Were you able to browse any websites or access any internet-based apps using your phone?
For the software update issue:
• Where are you located? See: Software Update for Nokia Lumia with Windows Phone 8 to know the Lumia Cyan update availability in your country.
• What's the current OS version and firmware revision number of your phone?
• Any error message or code when checking for an update?

What does "check for available downloads" do?

I bought some movies on my iPad while at work today. I didn't have enough space on the iPad so I checked "later" when the option came up about downloading now or later. When I got home, I saw that iTunes was showing the movie in my library with the cloud icon in the upper right corner, meaning that I own this movie but have not yet downloaded it. I thought clicking on "check for available downloads" from the Store menu would locate the purchased movies and download them, but instead I get the message "all purchases have been downloaded for this apple ID" (see image below). So I had to manually fish through the library and locate the purchased movies and click on the cloud icons to start them downloading.
So if "check for available downloads" doesn't do what it sounds like it should, what is it for?
I have the latest version of iTunes: 11.4.0.18

I thought I'd bump my own thread since it's three months later and iTunes is now at version 12 and the "check for available downloads" still does nothing. I am subscribed to a season pass of American Horror Story and every week I get an email saying that a new episode is available for download. But when I launch iTunes and click on "check for available downloads", nothing happens.

Actually what I am trying to achieve is the two things.
1) By using only the user's name, need to upload/download from/to the document library of SharePoint online site using the CSOM. (i.e., achieving Single Sign On / Windows Authentication)
2) I need to achieve the above only by passing the document URL; not by hardcording/ configuring the document library name in the windows application.
Can anyone pls help on this now?

FTP uploading & downloading.

I creating my website using iweb, i was wonder is it possible to create a FTP access on my website for my clients to upload & download files?
Right now they are all using third party FTP client "free software like Cyberduck for Mac User & WinSCP for PC User" to access my FTP for uploading & download of files now.

You can do this from any server.
My hosting service, Host Excellence, allows me to create first level directory folders and call them what I want.
You can give your clients access to a folder and set privileges in the control panel.
The basic hosting plan allows you about six sites and a free domain name.
I don't know about password protecting individual folders but you can ask their tech support about this or plough your way through the manual.

I use iBookAuthor to make a textbook for my students; I revised it, including title page, but when I export it and upload it to my iPad, the old title page appears, even though I've deleted the older version of the text before I upload the new one.

Last year I produced a textbook using iBookAuthor for my students. I exported it as an iBook and they uploaded it to their iPads. This year, I revised it, including revising the title page. However, when I upload the new version, the old title page is shown, not the new one. I deleted the older version of the textbook before I did this. I've been told that I can cut and paste each revised chapter into a new template and that will work; however, title page and glossary can't be cut and pasted. Any thoughts for getting the entire new version on the iPad? I'm also told that if it is uploaded to an iPad that never had a previous version of this textbook, it will upload correctly. But my iPad has had several older versions, now deleted.

I had a similar issue when trying to create an iBook file to submit for course credit for one of the Apple Learning Essentials classes I took. I had a book I'd started previously which I updated and submitted, and then had to make some edits to for the course evaluator. I made the edits, and when I previewed the book in iBooks Author, it looked correct, but whatever I sent to him only showed some of the edits - for example a new page I created was there, but some edits I made to image captions and the title page image were not.
What worked for me was to do a "Save as" of the actual Author file to a totally new location (I used the Desktop), and then submit that file - which seemed to work in terms of the changes sticking. I even used the same file name.
I'm not sure if some similar action might help you (maybe change the file name slightly?) or if you've already tried something like this.
Still doesn't change the fact that this is a pretty irritating bug.

You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
There's a similar option in Outlook and many, many other apps. If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
If you want to access the files with iPhoto not running:
For users of 10.6 and later: You can download a free Services component from MacOSXAutomation which will give you access to the iPhoto Library from your Services Menu.
Using the Services Preference Pane you can even create a keyboard shortcut for it.
For Users of 10.4 and 10.5 Create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use this free utility Karelia iMedia Browser
Other options include:

I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

Photos visible in iPhoto application but not accessible for upload

Any help anyone can provide with this is greatly appreciated. I took pictures of a friends wedding and have been trying to order a photobook as a gift. I decided to try to use iPhoto to make the book. I don't use iPhoto very often and at the start of this, my iMac was running on the Tiger OS and an old version of iPhoto (I think 5 or 6). After completing the first version of my photobook, I tried to place an order, but got a message that my version of iPhoto wasn't supported any longer and I'd have to upgrade.
I called the Apple store and ordered the Mac Box Set to upgrade my operating system to Snow Leopard and my iLife to version 11. The woman at the Apple store had me check my system info., available space, etc. and she assured me that my system should be able to handle the upgrade. I went ahead with the upgrade, loading the new operating system first and then iLife. The install seemed to go just fine, I never got any error messages and all the applications appear to function properly. So, I used the new version of iPhoto to create a photobook. I then placed the order the first time. On my end the process went smoothly and the upload completed without interruption. However, I got an e-mail message 4 days later saying my order couldn't be completed because files did not upload properly. So, I tried to place the order again, following the instructions to make sure that all my other applications were closed, etc. Once again the process seemed to be completed without any issues. However, now a week later, I once again got the error message that my order could not be completed because files did not upload properly.
So, I decided to try to place an order through a different vendor. Now I have discovered that all my recent photos (despite appearing in the iPhoto) are not accessible when I try to access them for upload to the vendor's site. The icon for iPhoto library is grayed out and there is no longer an option to access my photo rolls through finder. So, now I am unable to place the order for the photobook.
Can anyone help me figure out how to fix this? Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Flagging modified files for uploading later

Is there any way in Dreaweaver 8 to flag or mark files that
have been modified and are ready to be uploaded?
With large updates, there may be dozens of files in dozens of
different folders, all of which must be uploaded at once but which
may take many dates to create/modify. In a team environment, many
other files may have been changed in the same timeframe, for other
unrelated changes.
It seems silly to have to keep paper or external logs of
changed/new files in a project. Is there a mod or add-in that
allows files to be ticked/flagged/marked as being part of a
particular upload batch?

Unfortunately, the Edit > Select options won't work well
for us, as they will still pick up not only the files I have
added/changed, but also those of all the other team members. Also,
they cannot distinguish between completed files and work in
progress.
No, we are not using Check In/Check Out. We have discussed
it, but our network and server environment is quite complex and it
just won't work for us. Our local machines are in danger of being
wiped at any time to rectify a problem (we are on a standard
operating environment). We have three servers for the internet
(development, test and production) and four for the intranet
(development, test, production and live - oddly enough). This means
that when we finish changes in dev, we PUT them to test, not to
production/live. At the moment, the only real way we have to track
completed work is PUTting the files to test. All files in test
which are different from production can be sent live. But it's not
an ideal situation.
Overwriting is a real issue for us. There are, of course,
many common pages. When working on any page, there is likely to be
a common index page and common includes also involved, that could
be being modified by someone else. When we were all in one
workspace, it was easy to communicate. Now we are split over two
workspaces and it's much harder to know who is working on what.
We'd like to add some kind of version control system, but
they all require changes to our server structures to operate
effectively. Our servers are shared with three other departments,
so they are very difficult to change.

What is the difference between: "Place..." or "Add files for Upload..."?

Where can I get information about the detailed differences between the commands "Place..." and "Add Files for Upload..." of the Files menu?
Understand that in both cases the files are linked and not embedded. But what further differences are there?
I came across this issue because widget 039 (Animated Image Rollovers) from MuseThemes works only if you use the "Add Files for Upload..." option.

Hi Daniel,
There are a few differences in both the options-
Place is used to add content to page (rendered) while Add Files for Upload... is used to upload files to your site but not on page (not rendered).
Placed images are published to /images folder on the server while images added using Add Files for Upload... option are published to the /assets folder on the server.
Placed images have a chance of getting renamed (if resized/interpolated in Muse) upon publish while images added using Add Files for Upload... retain their names.
Place can be used to add limited file formats like jpg/png/psd/swf/oam etc while you can upload almost any type of file using Add Files for Upload...
You don't see Placed content in the Hyperlinks dropdown for linking while files added using Add Files for Upload... show up in the Hyperlinks dropdown so that you may link to them and allow download.
Both serve different purposes and Add Files for Upload... is preferred by Widget Developers because it gives more control over uploaded content and assurance that file location and name will be as expected.
Hope the above give you clarity on the basic difference.
