Opens in IE but not in Appletviewer????

Hi
I have a applet that opens a dialog box from a frame. This works fine in IE and Firefox but it doesn't work in the appletviewer. Isn't the malfunction supposed to be the other way around? I spent hours trying to figure out where my code was wrong until I ran it in Firefox out of desperation. Can anyone explain what's going on here.

NavURL works in IE6 but not in appletviewer

The samplecode "NavURL.java" works fine with IE but not with appletviewer.
When you run in IE you get a list with URL-addresses, when you mark one of them and click a button(load doc), a new window is opened with the specific website.
In appletviewer, the new window isn't opened. What might be wrong? What shall I do?

AppletViewer isn't a browser so probably won't support things like redirecting to HTML pages or opening new windows (although I must admit I've not used it for a couple of years now).
It's only really there to provide a runtime environment for Applets like you'd find in a browser. Noone's going to run your Applet in AppletViewer anyway - they'll all use a browser - so if it works in browsers then it's good enough.

Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately no that does not solve it. Same as swipe it will get me there and it will show separate programs spaced out. The issue I am having is that all my open word files are bunched up in a pile on top of each other. I can see the edges of each one but I want them to be separated from each other enough that I can visually identify what file is what.

My guess is they don't care. Most likely they're illiterate and don't know what a colon is for. They probably think it's a little-used character. Remember: these are the people who don't know the difference between "deprecate" and "depreciate".
I have the same colon problem as you do. But it's not the biggest problem I have encountered in Lion. If it was only that I'd be Mr. Delighted with Lion. There's worse than having a colon - uh - that won't cooperate. A lot worse, in Lion.

URL opens in Safari but not Firefox

I've uploaded all files properly, and I keep hearing that
it's something to do with my path. I'm not 100% familiar in
Dreamweaver, so I could be overlooking something, but when this
non-working html doc is compared to a similar one (different only
in the image displayed), everything is the same. One works
perfectly, the other does not.
Is there any reason a page would open in Firefox, but not in

Thanks for your response, I am using PFAL transaction to transfer the employees from ECC to CRM. and I am using only one emplyee for execution, is there any other transactions to replicate employees.
In ECC, after executing the PFAL transaction, getting successful transfer of IDoc message with green light.
In CRM in WE02, it is showing yellow light for the same IDocs.
but even with yellow light (Warning) some employees are successfully converting into BPs, but some employees are not converting.
I could not trace the problem that, why it is happening. IDocs are reaching to CRM system, but some idocs are not converting into BP where as some IDocs are converting into BPs successfully.
Please help me to resolve this issue.

Lightroom open Photoshop CC but not the files

When in Lightroom and I click on lets say 3 selected photos and want to open them in Photoshop HDR Pro or as layers, it opens CC fine but not the files. Any ideas? It's the same problem in open in CC as layers or Panorama. None of the files open in CC.

In the mean while, i would suggest you to follow the suggestions mentioned under the below article and check if that helps.

Before anyone can help, they need information to work with. Basic stuff:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?
- Did it ever work properly?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.
With this kind of information somebody can develop a starting point for troubleshooting the issue.

I created a newsletter using pages on my IPAD3. I can see see it...the icon is till there but when I tap it to open it, I get kicked out of pages.   Tried rebooting and I can open other documents, but not this one. Any ideas?

I created a newsletter using pages on my IPAD 3. All of a sudden I can no longer open that document.   When I click on it, it throws me out of pages all together. I can open other pages documents, but not that one. It is very frustrating to be able to SEE the file, but not open it.
I rebooted and I do have icloud back-up on but am not sure how to restore an older version. I also made sure there are no updates for pages.   Until the IPAD I used a home PC which I still have but am trying to wean myself off of. I wish now I had used MS Publisher on my PC for the newsletter even though I hate it.
Please don't tell me I have lost my Newsletter and 20 hours worth of work.

Try resetting your iPad. Hold the on/off and home buttons together for 7 or 8 seconds till the Apple logo appears.
I'm assuming your default is to save Pages documents to iCloud, and that you had a good WiFi connection when you closed Pages the last time you tried to save the document.
