Opens saying I have TRIAL version why?

Help! When I try to open Photoshop Elements 12 which I have purchased it says I have the TRIAL version with 30 days remaining. Do I have to enter my serial number every time I open the program? Please advise. Thank you.

Thank you for reply. After a couple days it reverts to trial (you have 30 days left) and then after I use it a couple times it says my trial time is up. So as soon as I get this message I have to enter my License number again (after entering my Adobe ID). Is the program trying to encourage me to upgrade to 13? I'm not ready to do that yet. I've written on this forum about my problem with this, too. Today, being the first of the month (I suppose) evreything comes up saying it is the trial version again. I hit continue trial, but today Acrobat comes back everytime it gets launched asking the same frustrating question. The only advice I was given was to uninstall and reinstall. I've done that more times than I can count since I signed up for Creative Cloud months ago. I also own TS4, and I've wondered if there is some interaction problem there - especially with Acrobat, as it TS4 also comes with that "module" as well as Bridge, Application Manager, etc.
I *really* wish they would get the bugs out of this whole Creative Cloud licensing thing...

You will have to remove one of the two versions, which one is your choice.

You need to update your system software to v10.8.5
Open System Preferences > Software Update. Click Check Now
OR, click Softare Update from your Apple menu  top left in your screen.
Restart your Mac after the updates are installed then try Mail.

Some have reported success simply by reinstalling the update.

Or download and apply, or reapply, the 10.6.8 Combo update first, then apply the Security Update again.

The Mail version for your machine is 4.6 (1085) You can get it via the Combo updater. Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1
Then follow with software updates to pick up the most recent security and iTunes updates.

The problem is that your Mac software is quite old. You must have a version of OS X on your Mac earlier than 10.6.8 (current is 10.8.3), so your particular version of OS X cannot support any later version of iTunes. (The current iTunes version is 11.0.2). In particular, your iTunes on your computer cannot deal with your iPad which has software that is much more current than your OS X operating system (and Mac iTunes).

I had firefox on my mac osx. I downloaded 6 and when I check the version it says I have 5. Why?

A box keeps coming up asking me to update to version 6. When I click OK it just keeps searching but never stops searching. I then went to the firefox site and clicked on download 6. Did everything that was asked of me then when I open firefox and click on about firefox it says I have version 5. Why?

I have trial versions of Lightroom and Elements 11. "Edit in Photoshop.." does not open the image

Using trial versions of Lightroom and Elements 11, th ecommand to "Edit in Photoshop Elements 11" succeeds in opening Photoshop but fails to open the image. Any ideas?

I have the same problem with PS Elements 13 trial version (fully updated), but sadly this solution doesn't work... there is no 'Support Files' folder, and nothing called 'Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor.app' anywhere else.
Any thoughts?

My premier keeps opening as an expired trial version even though I have a creative cloud plan.

I have an up to date payed for plan for premier with creative cloud but every time I open Premier on my desktop it opens as a trial version. Now that trial has expired and I can't open it and it diverts me to a page to pay again.
