Opera browser

Hi everyone!
Is there anyone that can teach me how to use opera in my N70?
I wanted to start to browse in internet (but not by wap: with my operator the expenditure is too much) and so I tried to double-click on opera icon: nothing happened.
Why? what was my mistake?
(my english is just a little orrible, I know......)

hey u should have a monthly internet access provided by ur mobile provider. i guess that way its cheaper. here in india i have an airtel gprs access. i pay 299 rupees for a monthly gprs access on my mobile. n the download limited is unlimited. i also connect it to my laptop n access internet. for opera u have to set ur connectivity settings according to your mobile operator. ask ur customer care to send u the settings.. then when u open the opera browser go to the help section at the bpottom. it hasall the tips to guide u through browsing webpages. if u have any problem u can write me at [email protected]

  • How can I stop Firefox from opening (to "File Not Found") when opening my Opera browser?

Ever since I installed Opera 10.61 on my new computer (Windows 7 Ultimate operating system), whenever I open Opera, Firefox opens one second later with the following error message:
    '''File not found '''
Firefox can't find the file at /C:/Users/Nasheed/AppData/Local/Opera/Opera/temporary_downloads/client-en.xml.
    * Check the file name for capitalization or other typing errors.
    * Check to see if the file was moved, renamed or deleted.
    TRY AGAIN.
    <nowiki>****************************************************</nowiki><br />
This happens EVERY TIME I OPEN THE OPERA BROWSER. How can I stop this from happening? I'm stumped.
[EXTRA INFO - I was unable to enable Firefox to access my previous profile on the new computer (despite putting the old profile in the appropriate Mozilla Firefox folder. So, there are now two profiles in that location.
After reading the answer to another forum member's question, I attempted to resolve the problem using Profile Manager, but I was unable to locate the Profile Manager. The Windows "Search" feature is not enabled on my new computer (nor can it be enabled from the Customize Start Menu options).]

Thank you for your response, Cor-el.
I had Opera set as my default browser since this began happening. I changed my default browser back to Firefox mainly because having Firefox open one or two seconds every time I open Opera was/is such a nuisance.
I believe this problem began because I attempted to manually transfer the files from my old computer to the new one (via the backed up files in my external drive). I was unfamiliar with Windows 7 when I did this. Microsoft changed the file set up from what I had been used to in Windows XP. I used XP for six years before being exposed to Windows 7 (I never had Vista).
I'm almost sure this problem has something to do with where I placed the application data when I was trying to reestablish the program set up on the new computer.

  • Flash player not working in Opera browser

I can't use the player in Opera Browser in Mac OS 10.9 but it works fine in Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Please help! I really want to use it i Opera.
    This is the error:

Download the offline FULL installer, and then do a complete clean install per the illustrated instructions here: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1343084
Also check that it's enabled, by typing "plugins" in the address bar and checking that Adobe Flash Player isn't marked "Enable" which would mean it's disabled.

  • Sessions with internetexplorer and opera browser  are different

im new to java technology, i have a doubt regarding sessions...
i have used InternetExplorer and logged in using two browsers with two different user names . when i logged out of yahoo in one browser the second browsers session is also expired......
but with opera browser it is working fine ....
does sessions also depends up on browser implementation..
    pls clear my doubt...

Opera, Firefox and Netscape seem to use a different approach to multiple browser windows, where they share memory spaces. I'm not sure why this is, but all three do it.
IE will only share a session between windows spawned in the same thread (IE the File --> New --> Window or clicking on a link that uses JavaScript to open a new window, or right clicking and selecting Open in New Window). But, if an IE browser is open, then you launch a whole new instance of IE (clicking the Icon on the Desktop again), those sessions will not be shared.

  • Problem with Oracle Forums with Opera Browser

Hello Oracle, i am having trouble navigating and posting thread with Opera Browser version 8.54 The problem is the following:
When i enter an Url in the Opera Browser for example:
    BPEL
The page apears ok except for the images that does not appear
and the main problem is that the links appear to point to this direction
    http://forums.oracle.com/thread.jspa?threadID=384456&tstart=0
That points to a Oracle 404 error page.
The link should be pointing to
    Bpel Process Analytics
It appears that the forums page generates the wrong page link, it apears that deletes the /forums part from the page link.
    Thank you very much

    Hi,
Download and install ActiveX if you use Internet Explorer.
You need to install plug-in if you use Firefox, Opera, or Safari.
The following link has step-by-step information: http://helpx.adobe.com/content/help/en/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player- windows.html#main-pars_heading_5
Also, after installing ActiveX, ensure that you disable ActiveX Filtering in Internet Explorer. See the following link for details: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-games-video-or.html#main_2__Disable_Ac tiveX_Filtering__if_you_are_using_Internet_Explorer_9_

  • Everytime I attach a file in Mail, Opera Browser takes over...

Everytime I try to attach a file using Mail, Opera browser wants me to accept user agreement about 20-25 consecutive times before i can even select the file i want to attach.  It also opens firefox and chrome as if i were trying to install them.  Any ideas why this is happening?  More importantly, anyway to stop this annoyance!?
    Thanks!
    Tommy

    Hi,
Unless the OSX install disks had 10.5.7, you need to download the Combo Update for 10.5.7, and install it over the existing system to advance Mail to the version that will match up with the current OS. This Combo Update is the one that is 729 MB in size, btw, and not the delta update.

  • Find old Bookmarks on Opera browser

I have a Powerbook G4 and am using Panther. One day, when I opened the Opera browser (I was using 9.5 version), a message came up that I should download the latest Opera. I did so and I checked to see that the same Bookmarks were there. They were so I trashed the old browser. I don't know what happened but the next day when I opened the Opera browser all the bookmarks had disappeared.
Today, I got a backup hard drive that has my old data on it. It should have the old version of the Opera with the bookmarks. I attached the hard drive to the Powerbook and the drive mounted. I then went into Applications and dragged the icon of Opera onto the desktop. But when I open it, the new Bookmarks are there, not the old ones.
Where can I find the old Bookmarks that were there on the browser of the old version of the Opera. The backup on this drive was made before I downloaded the new Opera browser. Where should I look?
    Thanks.

I think I found it, but it is a TextEdit file. I went into Users, then my home drive, then to Library, then Preferences, then Opera Preferences. That is how I got the TextEdit file. How can I convert this file so that they become bookmarks on the browser?

  • Having problems in C7-00 for Opera browser.

I brought a C7-00 i m quite happy with the handset but  face a problem in a Opera browser while typing particularlly with the letters "W, Z, H, Y" also when i press space and start with a new word the browser just shuts down, it goes off without any warning. Any solution for this i even uninstalled and installed it still facing thesame problem.
Is anybody facing the same problem
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I am not refering to the phones software. You already have the current version of the phones software.
I am refering to the Opera Mobile application. Opera Mobile is a separate programme installed on your phone. Opera is not coveres by the software update utility so it won;t tell you if Opera is up to date. You have to check to make sure you have the latest version of that. To check the version, start Opera, then goto Help followed by About Opera. The latest version is version 11.00.1396. If you have an older version then use the Ovi Store app on your phone and download the latest version.

  • Opera Browser Problems: TOC not expanding & search showing error

    RoboHelp HTML
    RH8
    Opera 10.10
In the WebHelp project generated, my table of contents (TOC) does not expand in the Opera browser.  Regardless of whether I click the + sign next to my topics or the topic text, the TOC does not expand.
Also, when I select the search tab/link in my output, an error is listed where the results would be shown, which states, "Error: Failed to initialize database."
I haven't been able to located any suggestions in the RoboHelp documentation or on the forum, so I don't have a clue where to begin.  I know that these problems don't exist in Explorer, Chrome, Safari, or Firefox.  Any suggestions you have would be most helpful!

Thank you both for your helpful responses!
I was under the impression that Opera was supported from this link.  Unfortunately, I totally missed the date and the word archived in the subject.
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/693/rb_69353b.html
It would be nice if the RoboHelp documentation had an explicit section on supported browsers because all I could find was a listing for additional browsers on the What's New in RoboHelp 8 page.
    Happy New Year!
