The only Opera Mini crash that I've seen was one that reported an "Out of Memory" error just before it exited.
I had left the Web Browser open (used it to find and load Opera Mini) and had forgotten to close it.
Since then I've had no problems with it, but then I mainly use it for RSS feeds as it is friendlier than the Web Browser's RSS feed reader.

The description is in the title: Premiere Pro CC Crashing when Scrolling Through Sequence in Timeline - Audio Waveform Goes Blank First.
Just started today, won't stop crashing now after a minute or two, and always does it when I scroll through the timeline of a sequence.  The audio waveform goes blank first.
    What is going on?

  • Numbers crashes when scrolling

Since updating to IOS 8, including all subsequent updates released for IOS 8, Numbers has exhibited crashing when scrolling horizontally or vertically when the spreadsheet exceeds the screen boundaries.  I have erased Numbers from the iPad Air (symptoms seem to cover full iPad family) and reloaded from iTunes.  This does not resolve the crash.  The crash seems to occur when scrolling in a flipping finger motion, vertically or horizontally.  The faster the finger flip the more likely and sooner Numbers will crash.  Scrolling horizontally or vertically in a slower motion seems to delay the eventual crash, but does not eliminate the problem.  This tendency for crashing Numbers renders this software useless.  I sincerely hope that the Apple software team will review this problem.  It has been sited in a number of other support threads.

I was having similar problems in Lion when with windowserver crashes when switching between windows or scrolling in Numbers or switching to iPhoto from other apps. I upgraded to ML because I was told this may fix the issue. Now i can't keen open iPhoto. I have Pram restarted and iPhoto opens but as soon as an image is selected I have another window server crash. Pre ML install I did a clean install of Lion and it made no difference.
Hopefully no one here told you that. A common theme is people blaming all problem on Lion or Mountain Lion, whatever operating system was just released and telling people with obvious hardware problems that they need to wait for a "bug fix". Updates come and updates go - taking warranties with them - but no fix ever happens.
There is a small possibility that the "Soundflower" kernel extension is giving you problems. It is very unusual to see a kernel panic without Soundflower being listed. If you remove that and still have panics, then it is definitely a hardware problem.

  • FrameMaker v11 crashes when scrolling

FrameMaker v11 crashes when scrolling within a file using a mouse wheel or Lenovo trackpoint. I have encountered this problem in multiple versions of FrameMaker. It does not crash if I use the scrollbar within the window. Is this just a known problem that has never been corrected, or is there a fix?

The issue of scrolling within the Xref panel that causes a fatal crash is supposedly fixed in FM12. Maybe your scrolling issue has been too – download a trial copy on a machine that hasn’t got any Adobe stuff on it, patch it up & try it out.

  • My iPad mini crashes when editing mail.

IPad mini crashes when editing mail  happens when trying to delete multiple emails. Any suggestions。

Try this  - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

  • Crash when scrolling the timeline

    this happens every single time:
if I zoom on the timeline, then I scroll to the right (to reveal next edits), Premiere crashes. if I zoom to the left it doesn't crash.
sometimes it says "sorry Premiere has to shut down we'll try to save the project", while other times it simply crashes and the default Apple crash report appears.
this happens on CC 2014.1 and latest 2014.2 and it's very frustrating because I have to use workarounds in order to move through the timeline.
    I'm on OS X 10.9.5, on a new Mac Pro with 2x D700 GPUs, 3.5GHz 6 core CPU and 32GB ram.
any idea on what's causing this problem and how to solve it?
    thanks!

  • Mac Mini crashes when HDMI-connected AV receiver powered off

This issue concerns a Mac Mini, mid 2011, running Yosemite. It is connected to a Yamaha AV receiver using HDMI and under normal circumstances works normally. However, whenever I power off the AV receiver, the Mac Mini crashes (spontaneously restarts).
I can't find any trace of a kernel panic, and there is no message after startup to say that the system has restarted unexpectedly.
For example, the system log from last night shows that is was performing a backup, and then there's the boot message at the time I shut the AV receiver down:
1/24/15 10:18:29.000 PM kernel[0]: hfs: mounted Recovery HD on device disk0s3

Output parameters from ASL Module "com.apple.asl" override any specified in ASL Module "com.apple.authd".
I have swapped out the HDMI cable in case it is faulty, but this has not changed anything. This issue is easily reproducible but I haven't been able to find any possible solutions. It started after the Yosemite upgrade. Also, the AV receiver need not be displaying the Mac Mini video for this to occur. It will crash regardless of what channel the receiver is showing.
Any help would be much appreciated!

I have a similar issue after recently buying a receiver (Sony STR-DN1050) and wiring my mac mini through it.
Some observations that seems to be linked.
    1. When I power up the receiver with another hdmi input than the mac mini, the mac mini switches fast between displays, from the TV name to unknown (observed through Remote Desktop), and sometimes log out the user.
    2. Then, when switching to the mac mini hdmi input, everything works fine, as the mac will recognise the TV.
    3. When switching off the receiver, the remote desktop disconnects and usually the mac mini will log off user or restart- not sure which.
Edit: Right now, when I powered off the receiver, the mac stayed on... no idea why, as it usually disconnects as mentioned above.
Edit2: As I look in the Display settings, the mac now recognizes my receiver as Display when it is turned off, presumably because I turned off HDMI pass-through on the receiver settings.
However, I still have problem 1 above: When I turn on the receiver with any other input than the Mac Mini, the mac will start switching displays and log out the user.

  • Finder crashes when scrolling in a large directory

I came across a weird problem today on a clients power mac (OS 10.4.11)
They have a large directory (~200 sub folders) and when you scroll down the list of sub folders the finder crashes when you get the the "N"s
It looks a lot like when explorer crashes in windows (everything is gone minus the background and eventually the icons and start menu reappear) except this version just happens a lot faster
I did some research and people were saying that deleting the com.apple.finder.plist files and rebooting fixed it but that did not work with me
    anyone see this before?

I haven't seen that but I don't have a folder with 200 folders inside. I do have a folder with 9000+ files inside with minor Finder issues, but not the one you see.
Additional computer information for the client's computer? How much RAM on the computer? How much free space on the computer's hard drive?
What happens if you try to jump to, say, the W folder by typing the letter W?
Have you verified the drive with Disk Utility? Possible directory corruption.

  • Illustrator CS5 crashes when scrolling through font menu.

    Hello Adobe Community,
I am in desperate need of help with my Illustrator CS5 program. It has suddenly started to crash when I scroll through the Font menu from the Type menu at the top of the program. I am using a late 2013 Macbook Pro 13" with retina display on OSX 10.9.2. I am using Illustrator CS5 v15.0.0. I have read through scores of forum threads and tried every solution that was suggested and still cannot resolve this problem. I am stumped and my back is up against the wall. My work flow has now slowed to crawl since I have to now search through fonts using FontBook then manually type in the font I need in the font character field. I believe this problem is due to a corrupt font. The trouble started after I installed a new font. I have since deactivated and deleted that font but the problem persists. I am not a "tech head" so I don't know how to generate those long code pages that some can. I can make pretty pictures with Adobe products but I can't service those Adobe products.
Here is a list of things I have tried so far (at least what I remember):
    *     I have deactivated and deleted the font I believed to be corrupt.
    *     I have validated all my fonts with FontBook and deleted all corrupt files.
    *     I have turned off the "enable missing glyph protecting" in the preferences.
    *     I have used FontNuke to delete my font caches.
    *     I have reset my Pram.
    *     I have repaired all my permission with disk utility.
    *     I have removed all fonts except for the standard system fonts.
    *     I have uninstalled Illustrator and done a clean install (my system was migrated from a backup-however is has worked fine for months).
    *     I have deleted my library/preferences/abobefnt.plst.
    *     I have change the font preview to small.
    *     I deleted all my fonts and restored them from time machine from before I had installed that last font I believed to be buggy.
    *     I have prayed to Jebus.
So far none of this has worked. The closest I got was after deleting all the corrupt fonts with FontBook. It worked for a day. Then the next day started crashing again. I am completely lost at this point. I don't know what else to do.
Can anybody please help me figure this out?
    BK
Update - I figured out how those crash reports are done so if anyone thinks they can help but needs to see a report please let me know and I will paste it into a reply.
Update 2 - I tried turning off the font preview all together and this seems to have stopped the crashes so far. I think the bug can be isolated to this function. Problem is I need that function.

  • Flash CS4 crash when scrolling

    Hi,
Today one of our artists started experiencing a crash in Flash CS4 Professional when scrolling the workspace around in one of his .fla files.  All he has to do is hold down the spacebar and scroll around with the mouse; or use the scrollbars to scroll around.  It has crashed about 10 times in the last hour, and we copied the file over to another machine and saw the crash there as well.  We've only seen it occur with one particular file.
The machines are both Intel Core i7 machines with 8GB of RAM and two different video cards, one running Windows 7 and the other running Vista; and the crashes cause the Adobe "let me report this crash to the mothership" dialog box, so I don't think it's video card driver related; I think it's just a bug in Flash Professional.  We're running version 10.0.2 with no updates available to Flash Professional when choosing "Updates..." from the Help menu.
Anybody else seen this?  Any workarounds?  Any way to get Adobe to fix it?
    Thanks - BD

  • Mac Mini crashes when exporting imovie projects

    Hi.
When I try to export imovie projects, my Mac Mini crashes. Not ever, just every two or three times.
My system is 10.6.7 and imovie is 11. Can anyone help me? Thanks, I apologize for my bad English

    Thank you, I'll try!
I hope you're right, because is boring to see out of the blue all the screen getting grey and the window that invites you to reboot, without hope... It happens, for example, after two or three succesful exporting projects, then I reboot and go on for another two or three projects and then again... I'm afraid it's a RAM problem, but I'll try to update system and software.
    Thank you again

Hi, folks! I recently updated to 10.4.5 and ran the latest security update. Now, when I open my applications folder using the 'list view' format and attempt to scroll down below the Microsoft Office folder, the Finder crashes. If I open my Applications folder and use 'icon view' I cannot scroll at all. Any attempt to do so, immediately crashes the finder. If I first resize the view window to be larger than the default size, the Finder immediately crashes when I open the Applications folder.
Nothing else seems to be effected. The applications I can launch either from the limited 'list view' window or from the Dock, all seem to function properly. I simply cannot get to all my applications in the Application's folder. The Utilities folder is unaffected.
Any ideas or fixes? This is very annoying!

    Hey, Rich!
Sorry to be so long getting back to you. I did not get a chance to try your recommendation before my system was totally corrupted and I had to reinstall my OS. The corruption occurred when I updated to 10.4.6. After running software update, the computer went into the "infinite spinning color wheel" mode. I had to initiated a hard reset and was never able to get the machine to boot. Hence, I had to reinstall the OS. I tried an archieve and install but, I think my removeable DVD drive imust be getting old as the install quit half way through the process. I finally used a firewire external DVD drive and successfully reinstalled the OS but now am having to recreate all my network stuff and other preferences. Fortunately, all my data was left in tack and I was able to recover it.
Oh, bother! Anyway, thank you for the suggestion. I wish I had had the opportunity to try it! Now, because of all this, I am scared to death to run any of the updates!

  • "Crash" When Scrolling Through Album Covers

The phone doesn't literally crash, however when scrolling through the album covers of the iPod section the phone goes back to the main menu and everything stops. If any music is play it stops and whatever I was looking at is gone; I'm left looking at the home screen of the iPhone. I'm simply flicking through my album covers, and after doing it for a few seconds it resets and brings me back to the home screen.
I have 296 artists and maybe around 200 albums. This is very annoying and I'm hoping others are having similar issues so it will get fixed...
If anyone needs more info please feel free to let me know.

Ok, turning the phone off and then back on (press & hold the sleep/wake button) resolved it this time. But who the heck knows when it's going to happen again. I've posted a YouTube video demonstrating the problem.

  • BB 8900 - Opera Mini crashes WSOD

    Hello folks:
I tried to install Opera Mini by opening the link inside BB Browser. The application installed OK, I ran it and admired it for a while. Closed the application, went to grab lunch.
When back, decided to fire Opera Mini again - surprise, surprise, the whole device froze, ended up with white screen of death [whoever invented this analogy with Microsoft is bonkers ]. Rebooted the device upon removal of Opera Mini from the list of applications. Now works fine but cannot browse the local wifi as I did before.
Tips on what to check and what to fix, so my wifi connection is up and running?
    Cheers
