How do you add bookmarks?

It's broken. The way it is supposed to work is you download Opera for your computer, enable Opera links and then sync to Opera Mini.

N97 Mini Web browser - Multiple pages

I got my N97 mini as a gift a few days ago. I've only ever used Nokia and I absolutely love the phone so far, but I'm having some challenges trying to open multiple web pages at a time. I've only been able to do this once as a result of a pop up window from a previous page. Is there a standard way to do this?

Opera Mini problem with E72

Hi all..
This is my first post here.
I can't use Opera mini web browser at all! It loads and finally throws up the following error:
"Failed to connect to the Internet."
It's frustrating coz I was (am) able to use Opera mini without any glitch on N73..

I have the same issue too, both with opera mini and opera 10. Not able to connect using wifi connects.
I have already updated the nokia software to 051.18
what I think the main issue is related with JAVA. As I am also not able to connect / use other JAVA related applications as well on my set. Like ebuddy, nokia chat and mobi cast (cricinfo mobile application ).
The error msg when I try to connect with ebuddy: "Your internet settings must be activated for JAVA APPLICATION or try again later". This is the default error msg which comes again n again every time.
I did chk the java setting ---> Menu --> Internet ----> Web ---> Options ---> Settings ----> General ---->
Is there a solution for this? Can some one help me to sort out this issue? Please.

Friends, please help me in installing the latest Opera Mini 7 browser for my BB Playbook.

Only currently available for BB phones. You might be able to sideload an android version, in which case look in crackberry.com as we don't usually support sideloading here and performance may be disappointing.
Maybe with BB10?

Nokia browser/Opera Mini

Is there any way I can set-up Opera Mini as my main default browser (for example if I recieve a text message including a web link so that I can open it with Opera rather than Nokia's browser) Thank you very much!

There seems some bugs on the Nokia in-built browser to browse large sites and advanced flash based sites. Please try loading small sites.
Solution
1. Close all applications running in the background.
2. Delete the contents of C:\System\cache.
3. Delete the contents of C:\System\dmgr.
4. Delete the contents of C:\System\temp.
Avoidance
1. Large and slow loading sites.
2. Full flash based websites.
3. Flash based games sites.
Why?
- Because, we're using smartphones and not a personal computer, the device built in browser has liitations and dont expect it to deliver what you always do on the personal computer.
However, if u intend to use Opera Mobile 10, u may type in opera:config in the address bar and scroll down to Disk Cache section, change the unit 4096 to 2048.
Also, please feedback the results as the results could be useful to other members / visitors.

Opera Mini Browser

Hi, all,
As a big fan of the Opera Mini browser, I was curious if any of you are still unable to use OM due to the trackpad issue. The last couple of versions of OM have a bug by which navigation with the trackpad is impossible due to its hypersensitivity. I currently use Opera Mini 5 Beta 2 which works great on my 9650 Bold. I realize a lot of you like the Bolt browser, which also works good. However, I prefer OM. Just curious to see what you use or prefer. Have a good one...

I had downloaded and was playing with Opera Mini 5 Beta 2 - but on your advice I dumped it and got Opera Mini 6 - it's pretty slick! It installed quickly, and is very responsive - I WILL change some of the default tabs, but played with the weather and Facebook and it seems to be excellent!
Some of the fast response MAY be due to the fact that we recently upgraded our DSL internet access to Cable and are enjoying faster speeds overall, and I'm using the our wi-fi only to connect with the Bold, but so far I like Opera Mini 6!

Web Browsers - Opera Mini - Firewall

I am trying to get a better browser than web'n'walk on my 8300.
Opera Mini seems quite good (reasonable page navigation).
However, my Firewall prevents it connecting (disable Firewall, opera works).
How do I get the Firewall to acknowledge Opera?
OR what's the best browser for the 8300?

Iam getting error message when i launch Opera web browser

I have installed Opera web Browser on solaris 9 without any error message. When i try to start Opera web browser it says following message
ld.so.1: ./bin/opera: fatal: libqt-mt.so.3: open failed: No such file or directory

i had same above problem..then i install SFWqt as you tool. and that early error dissappered. now new error reappered.
I use ultrasparc systtem..and solaris 9...I install opera 9.21(shared). Now i tried to run..i was start...else it shows these errors

I'd maybe try doing a search for Safari on your iPad first (swipe to the left to search). If it shows up in that search you can go to Settings > General > Reset and choose 'reset home screen layout' which will put it back where it would be by default.
All else fails? Restore it.

Your phone doesn't have wifi so, if you want to access to the internet, you will have to use gprs. Contact your network operator to learn for charges.

Wow that was really quick, thank you so much. Im not sure at all which version it was because i said it was around 4 years ago he bought it. I know it isn't under his username, since he's a PC person (ugh) so i know its probably registered to one of our actual names. isn't there some way to look it up since we did register it, because I'm not even sure where the disks are from when we bought it (we've moved a lot and also have two storage lockers, i know i would have kept it with other disks) but my cd rom drive is actually broken on my computer as well ( i think it got stepped on and is now squished and won't eject or run disks.)
So is there anyway they can look up that its registered to one of our names since we did register it when we bought and installed it, or do i really have to find the disk with some sort of proof of purchase (i know there would be no receipt after all this time)
either way, ill do what you suggested to the best of my abilities and thank you so much for answering my questions, i can't even open the program as its incompatible and find out the info from that) so I'm in a bit of a pickle and your response was so thorough and it didn't seem to be posted long enough to even write a well researched response, thanks, all the best,

Pls, i have been unable to launch the Opera mini browser in my Nokia 5310.
Any time i launch the browser,"failed to connect to the internet" is displayed.
Can anyone help?

If I remember correctly, Opera Mini does a connectivity test when first launched. What about that? Did you have it done?
You could also try to reinstall (unistall and install) the software.

Desktop: Mac Mini dual-core i5 (or quad i7 if you can afford it, it might seem overpowered but it will last you longer. Upgrade to 16GB RAM if you want to future proof that side of the machine. Don't buy from Apple, install it yourself).
Laptop: MacBook Pro 13' if you don't need portability, or MacBook Air 11' if you do (as RRFS has said).
A notebook and a laptop are the same thing.
