I have the SoundBlaster Zx and want to buy a awesome headset that can use the features the card has to offer. I had the Turtle Beach COD MW3 set and the head band is plastic and of course it broke. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

Get yourself a set of quality headphones from Audio-Technica, Sennheiser, Ultrasone, or Beyer-Dynamic. Then add a ModMic or other clip on mic. The sound quality in music, movies, and games will be incredible. The card is meant for more than just gaming and the headphones (rather than gaming headset) will do the sound output justice. Headphones cost more, sometimes much more, than headsets, but it is for the simple fact that headsets are an "all in one" playback device, while headphones are meant for QUALITY playback.

Apple is selling a new set of apple branded earbud headphones on their website, which are supposed to replace the old ipod headphones.
I want to know if the jacks on the new headphones are shaped the same as the jacks on the old headphones.

I'm looking for help, becouse I've tried all other possibilities. I have to ask you for help. Please, response..
I recently bought "X-Fi Extreme Music". It's fantastic card and sound is fantastic, but when I realized that I can use DTS/5./Dolby etc. and my headphones I can't li've without it!
Problem is simple.. I can't hear subwoofer at all when I set in panel speaker system to "2/2,". When it's all set to "headphones" everything works properly. Why? I have very good quality headphones and everything sounds much better with setting "2/2." instead headphonses, but... subwooofer is "dead".
Anyone could help me and tell why I can't hear subwoofer?
Second question is simple... Is this possible to set level of every "virual speaker" separately, when CMSS and DTS are on?

Tackling the iMac problem: In iCloud network preferences, I unchecked Safari then soon after rechecked it, and your suggestion appears to have worked: a bookmark recently added on one of the other devices appeared in the iMac Safari bookmarks. So far so good.
Did the same thing with contacts. The iMac took a couple of hours to restore the sync setting, but it finally completed the task. The computer was laboring so I rebooted. Then I opened the contacts application and saw the spinning grey bars next to the "iCloud" heading above my list of contact groups. Some time later the spinning lines were replaced by an exclamation point. I clicked on it and got the message that the operation could not be completed because of a "CoreDAVErrorDomain error 1..". Subsequently, after much spinning of the line wheel, I have gotten either the exclamation point with the CoreDAV message or a lightning bolt icon. Whether exclamation point or lightning bolt, clicking on it provokes a long period of the spinning line wheel. And looking at some telltale contact discrepancies between the iMac and the other machines, nothing seems to have changed in terms of merging the discrepancies.
Searching for the error message in the support community, I see this has happened to others, and they have had some success in following a list of steps starting with archiving the contacts, which I have done. Don't think I fully follow the other steps, nor am I sure they apply to my situation.

From what I've read and understand there are 4 conductors on the jack plug as opposed to three on the normal iPhone headsets.It seems that the extra conductor is probably the one that controls the volume buttons + & -
So the volume fix may not ever be able to happen as it would seem it is hardware related.If it can be fixed with software upgrade that would be great but iphone users might have to live without the volume control if they want a set.

I would like to check is that nothing can do with this missing minor parts? I really doubt the policy of the Apple as I was told as long as you bring to the service center, they will assists. As Apple is a well known brand top of the world, but the servicing is really make me so disappointed! I really doubt should I still continue to support the Apple product with helpless service!

Well, your service is handled by an Authorized Apple Service Center. If they refuse to handle the claim, that is well within their rights. Apple as well could void a claim under the same circumstances. I'm not saying that you did or did not modify the device, but you could try and talk to a supervisor there and make another request. I have an older XMP file that contains settings used to retouch some previous images in a particular way. I'd like to apply those same settings to a new set of images. How can I use that older XMP file on a new set of images in Lightroom?

I’m pretty sure Adobe NEVER intended for someone to copy an XMP file from one photo to another outside of LR as a way to replicate settings.   You can make a preset from a photo, as discussed, or if you don’t want to do that, copy-paste the settings from a representative photo that you initially select to one or more new photos. You could have a special LR folder that holds standard photos to copy/paste from. Of course creating a Develop preset from the representative photo is the “normal” way to handle such situations, but maybe you have hundreds of different situations to copy settings from and don’t want to create presets for each one, but I’d argue that you could create a complex folder hierarchy for your presets and still have them findable without that much problem.
As far as the mystery about why some photos show Reset and some show From Metadata, is the Process Version (down in Camera Calibration) of the photo before reading the settings the same between the two situations? And in general, are these virgin photos newly imported into LR or have some been modified in LR, already? Does an XMP file already exist for any of these, where that XMP is being overwritten by your external-to-LR copying? Or do you have auto-write-XMP enabled and your hand-copied XMP is getting overwritten by LR, automatically, before you have a chance to read in anything?

I suggest that you clone your current drive with 10.6.8 to an external drive. If you have any issues after upgrading to Mavericks, you can boot back into 10.6.8.

How to manage a new Set Up time

I have a Client with a particular requirement to manage Set up time as a planning function. There requirement is that they Campaign a batch of 10 orders and say after every 5 Campaigns they want to manage a new Set Up time to reflect extra cleaning for example. So the Standard Recipe Value for Set Up would be 10min but for this u2018Clean downu2019 it would be 60mins for example.
I was wondering how this can be managed. I guess particularly what is the Recipe master data set up as there is only one field for the standard value/Set Up?
Does PPDS allow you in Scheduling to add an extra set up interactively as the Capacity Planning Table in ECC does not in PP-PI it does allow set up matrix in PP  GREAT!
One solution I did think of awas an Event Process order that would occupy the capacity/time but this would be a manual process.

If the HD is setup for Mac and plugged into the AE.. with file sharing on, it should work.
Try manually mounting the disk.
In finder use go, connect to server, and type in AFP://AEName or AFP://AEIPaddress.. where you replace what I wrote with the actual name or actual IP.
Later versions of Mac OS.. like ML for some strange reason have their preferences set by default to not show network drives.. change finder preference to see everything.

I am new to the Report Writer. My understanding is that Report Writer makes use of pre-defined sets of financial objects. My user wants to create new report group in Report Writer and add some new data which are currently in Z-table. Is this possible? Do we create a new set based on Z-table and then incorporate it in the new report?

No were SAP released document Z tables is support for report writer.
moreever SAP recomonded to create reports by using report writer / painter for specific Tables only not for all standared tables.
as i know not possible to use Z tables for report writer.
still your business want A table data report, you can able to develop through ABAPer help.

The cost of the Full Logic Pro 9 from the App Store is less than the cost of the discontinued Boxed Upgrade set for Logic Studio (if you could find one) ... so you might as well purchase the full Logic Pro 9 from the App store and be done.
