Opmn Configuration step never finish in the process installation

during installation process of webcenter for windows 2003 server the opmn configuration step never finish and the oui is not reporting any error or
problem.
what to do?

Sometimes it helps to stop and start opmnctl from the commandline during the installation. Otherwise finish and execute the remaining commands (noted in cfgtoolslog) from the commandline.

  • Job that never finishes in the Batch Apps Service?

We have a job that never finishes, the single task that it runs says it's finished but the job never ends. I end up having to cancel it.
The task that runs takes about 33 minutes or so to complete. Could whatever that monitors the job timeout waiting for the task to finish?

Unfortunately, posting our code here really isn't possible.
I can describe what we're doing and seeing.
We're not using the batch service to run command line applications. In our task processor, we're determining what classes to create and call and call them in process.  We have a lot of job types (above 15 and counting) that we need to run, so we opted
to combine them into a single class library and call them that way. None of our jobs output any files, all of our output get persisted to blob storage. We're using the batch service kind of as an on-demand cloud worker infrastructure.
It seems like the issue (jobs that never end) are random.  It's not always the same job and it's not always long running ones.  When the issue does crop up, our task completes without any errors. We do see the results of our jobs in blob storage.
Also in our task processor, we set the TaskProcessResult's ProcessorOutput property to any messages we've logged.  We can download and see those log messages in the portal.
We also see 2 tasks created for the job, our task and the default merge (we don't create merge tasks for our jobs).
Would the job id's or logs help in any way?

  • Hello everyone!  I am having issues with my MacBook Pro early 2011 13 in.  When I boot up it starts to boot up and never finishes.  The screen just continues to have the apple and spinning circle on it.  Any recommendations?

When restarting my computer the screen is freezing on the apple and spinning icon.  It never finishes booting.  Anyone know how to fix this?

Reinstalling Lion Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. For example, if you are already booted into the Lion you originally purchased with your Apple ID or if an instance of the Lion installer is located anywhere on your computer.

  • When I "share" to DVD the file is transcoded.  When it reaches 66% it starts to "finishing", but the process stops and does not proceed beyond 66%.  When I stop the sharing process I receive the following message "the share operation dvd has failed".

When I "share: to DVD the file is transcoded.  When the sharing process gets to 66%, it changes to "finishing" "CreateDVD:waiting fro create disk to finish.  The sharing process does no go beyond 66%, and when I stop the sharing process, I receive the message "the share DVD operation has failed."
Is this a problem with FCPX or Create DVD?  How can this problem be resolved?

The handshake between FCP and a hidden app called Create Disk wasn't completed.
Try this. Select a short range and Share>DVD. In Output Settings. set it to Hard Drive to save as a disk image. (Save to your Desktop so you can find it.) For menu Background, click the Add button, then cancel. That is often enough to wake up the disk burning part of this process. If it makes a disk image, try a physical disk.

  • I purchased a blu-ray of The Hunger Games and it came with a code for a digital copy. I redeemed the code on iTunes but the download has been continuing for 2 weeks now and it never finishes! The time just keeps going up. Never an issue in the past.

I purchased the blu-ray of The Hunger Games and it came with a code to redeem for a digital copy. I redeemed the code in iTunes and the movie downloaded fine, but the "EXTRAS" have been downloading for 2 weeks! Everytime I launch iTunes it starts the download again and the counter keeps going UP, at one point it said it would take 3 weeks. I have paused and restarted the download, I have deleted the download, nothing works to finish or stop this download! Does anyone have a clue what's up?

ps when syncing it jumps through steps 1 - 4 real fast, i seem to remeber iphone showing the number of tracks transferring and names, but i see nothing? then it sits on 5 saying "waiting for changes to be applied"

  • Project never finishes distribution build process ... why not?

I've got an app all done that I can Build and Go fine in Device | Debug mode for my touch. It takes perhaps 15 seconds to build in debug (48 source files) and then another 5-8 to actually get pushed onto the touch. Using my development certification of course.
But then, I hit Build after correctly(?) setting up my distribution settings and certificate and set to (Device | Distribution), the same app gets through all 48 source files in the Build Results window, and then never completes the build, even after running for more than an hour. I do not have my device connected because, of course, the distribution provisioning profile is grayed out anyway.
The Activity Window says ... performing "build" on "appname" and then a smaller line stating Compiling ..... with the name of the very last source at the end of the long string. But it never completes even after hours.
Can anyone tell me what's possibly going or what settings I've messed up so I can actually get this thing built and submitted?
    Many thanks!

I'm also going to try a couple of other things and will post the results ...
Try compiling just the last file to see if it even builds correctly at all. If it doesn't compile, I'll try commenting out one function at a time, and recompile. I will also, per another thread here, set the "Code Signing Identity" for the project build settings to "iPhone Distribution" and leave the "Code Signing Provisioning Profile" set to "Default Provisioning Profile for Code Signing Identity".
For the target build settings, set the "Code Signing Identity" to "iPhone Distribution: <my distribution cert name>" and select your distribution provisioning profile for "Code Signing Provisioning Profile".
It seems to compile all of the app (after doing a show package contents) except the executable app itself.

  • Photoshop CS5 Video Render Never Finishes; Mac and Windows

    Hello,
I've tried rendering a video using Photoshop CS5 and it never finishes. The progress bar reaches the end but the process never completes. The video is only three seconds long (it's the video rendering exercise in Adobe Photoshop CS5: Classroom in a Book, Lesson 12). A 3D postcard is being rendered. First, I tried the settings in the book, H.264, Medium (quality), 15 FPS, 700 x 700, one-pass. That is only 150 frames! It never finished. Since then, I've tried all sorts of output formats from a 70 x 70 pixel WMV file to standard-def DV/DVCPRO NTSC. Nothing finishes. My Mac Pro has 12 GB of RAM with over 8 GB free. Photoshop is at the latest update.
Now, here is the kicker. I had my students try the exercise in the lab at the university where I teach. We have very up-to-date Windows PCs in our lab and Photoshop CS5. The exact same thing happened on the PCs with six of six students, the render never finished.
I've searched to no avail for a posting about this problem. I'm stumped. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

The serial number is platform specific.  So your current serial number will only work on the Mac platform.  You will want to purchase an additional license for Windows.  Alternately once the Creative Cloud is available you can subscribe have one install under Mac OS and another under Windows of the soon to be current version, CS6, if you would like.  You can find more details at http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud.html?promoid=JQPEQ.

  • ITunes never finished download

iTunes never finished download the music and audiobooks that I purchased, the downloading process didn't have any problem in the begining, but after a while, the file that was downloading didn't appear in the purchased list, and I couldn't find it anywhere in iTunes, if I restarted iTunes or choosed Advanced>check for purchases.. then it appeared again, and being downloaded again from the begining...
The problem repeated so that my purchases are always being downloaded and never finished... they also never resume from the point that have problem, they always are downloaded from the begining.
      Windows XP Pro   P4 3.0Ghz, 1gb Ram, 700gb HDD...

Same thing happened to me just now. I purchased a single song and it got about 1/4 of the way through and now it is just stuck...***
anyone know what I can do?

  • Backup never finishes

I am trying to use Backup for a custom backup to my iDisk (yes, I'm logged in to .Mac). I simply used the checkboxes to select all relevant document types (iTunes, Word docs, etc.) This is the first backup.
Backup never finishes. The upload progress bar reaches the end, then the process starts all over again. I've left it on overnight, and it just keeps cycling through the whole process again and again.

Hi Marakel, and welcome to the forums,
Do you have enough space on your iDisk for all your stuff? An iTunes library alone might exceed the limit.
Why don't delete that back up plan, and start with something much smaller, like the "personal data" option, and see if that works, then work create another plan for something bigger to work your way up. My guess is that Backup is hanging because of all the data you are asking it to backup, but I'm surprised it doesn't tell you you're exceeding your limit (if that is the problem) before it starts uploading.

  • How to load the sequence file from the process model?

Does anyone have an example process model that loads a sequence file? The out-of-the-box process models assume the sequence file is already loaded. I want the process model to identify the UUT type and load the appropriate sequence file based on that.

    Mark,
A better solution to your question can be accomplised if you have TestStand 2.0.
Within the entry point of a process modle you can set the client sequence using Execution.ClientFile(). This is a new method of TestStand 2.0. It was specifically designed so that you could dynamically set the client sequence within the process model.
Currently the entry points in the default process models (i.e. Test UUTs and Single Pass) are configured to Show Entry Point When Client File Window is Active. This means that you must open and have active a client sequence file before you can execute one of the entry point. You probably do not want this implementation if you are going to set the client file during the entry point execution. To change this you will need to go the sequence properties of your entry point (while the sequence is open select Edit>>Sequence Properties), switch to the Model tab of the entry point's property dialog box, and enable Show Entry Point For All Windows. The entry point will then appear whether or not you have an open sequence file active.
You will need to add at least 3 steps to your entry point sequence that all use the ActiveX Automation Adapter. Remember that MUST disable Record Results for any step you add to the process model. The 3 steps will perform the following tasks:
    1) Obtains a sequence file reference of the file that you want to be the client sequence file. You will need to use the Engine.GetSequenceFileEx method. You will need a local variable (ActiveX data type) in which to store the sequence file reference.
    2) Set the client sequence file using the Execution.ClientFile property.
    3) Close the reference to the client sequence file in the Cleanup step group of your entry point sequence using Engine.ReleaseSequenceFileEx
I am attaching a SequenceModel.seq file (the default process model in TestStand 2.0) in which we have modified the TestUUTs entry point as described above.
Note that you'll be prompted to enter the path to your client sequence file. This is a message popup that you can delete and it was added for your review only.
    Good luck in your project,
