Opportunities Report - Last Activity Date ?

Currently we use the Opportunities Report to generate data on the pipeline for each of our sales people.  We record each sales touch to a lead by recording an activity from the open opportunity.  We review our open pipelines and also the marketing touches that each rep performs within the opportunity.  We track open pipeline total activities weekly.
When we review the summary data presented by the Opportunities Report we are searching for a way to pull the last closed activity date for that opportunity.
Is anyone aware of a report that is available to service this need and or....does someone have a query to perform this need.
Any help would be appreciated........
Thanks, Dan

Hi Dan,
I don't have a query, but, as a quick pointer:
The activities table (OCLG) contains a field OPRID which you can use to link the activities to the opportunity. You can the use a MAX function to pull the activity with the last date for the opportunity?

  • Reporting Last Activity Date on Contact

    Hello,
I maybe lossing my mind here but i feel like i have been looking for "Last Activity Date" on the contact screen all day. Can someone veryify that this appears under reporting.
Also does anyone know if you can create a case statement around this to state if values is less than 3 weeks = Dont not Contact and if greater Contact.
Anyway hope someone can verify this.

    JE,
i don't know about a last Activity date but I've just done it with Activity reporting on Service Requests. I did RANK(activity created date by SR ID) and then set the filter to RANK=1. This gives you the last activity created.
I then did a calculation in another field TIMESTAMPDIFF(SQL_TSI_DAY, activity.createddate, Current_date) which gave me the number of days since an activity was last posted to an SR.
You can then do conditional formatting or a CASE WHEN statement on this field.
    cheers
    ALEX
***NOTE I have a current SR with Oracle because I'm in sydney and Current_date returns Central Server time which is a 17 hour difference and for most of the day is a day behind so my formula above has had to be
    TIMESTAMPDIFF(SQL_TSI_DAY, activity.createddate, TIMESTAMPADD(SQL_TSI_HOUR, 17,Current_date))

  • Last Activity Date in Opportunity Report

    Hi Guys,
Would like to knoe if there's a way to retrieve the Last Activity Date in a historical Opportunity report?
    Regards,
    Teena

Basically, I need to show all opportunities with or without activities. If there are activities attached to an opportunity, then I need to get the Last Activity Date.
I tried using the Activity object in reporting but if there's no activity linked to an opportunity, it is not being displayed in the report.

    Hello,

No, unless you can use an FTP client.

  • BAM Report and Active data cache

I am having problems with reports that have automatic active data retrieval.
    It does not work.
If I load the report it extracts the data correctly from an external data source. If I Reprompt or refresh it brings back changed data from the data source.
It does not automatically poll for changes even though it is set in the report properties.
If I stop and start the Active data cache service it starts polling and reconnecting, but not resynching the data.
In the Active data cache log I have the following entries :
    2005-12-01 09:36:54,062 [3576] ERROR - ActiveDataCache Viewset not found:

Can you identify your company and project.?
    a) Maximum capacity of ADC == maximum capacity of your underlying Oracle DB used by BAM as repository.
    b) Retention period - infinite - data is there in BAM ADC (also in BAM repository) till you manually delete it (there is no automatic delete of old data)
    c) Yes ADC stores its data internally in the Oracle database (aka BAM repository)
    d) No - we generally donot publish ADC internals. This is a known decision since end users will only work either to put data into ADC or plot reports/dashboards from BAM GUI. You have to be very specific on what your are trying to acheive and we can suggest possible alternates.

  • Activity Reporting X Activity Data Collector

    Hi,
there are two types of activity reporting in SAP Enterprise Portal, Activity Data Collector and Activity Reporting. The SAP documentation for the Activity Data Collector
(http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/47/8ac2e51b141e1ee10000000a42189d/content.htm) specifies that the "Directory Name" property can be either a relative path or an absolute path on the server (<drive>:\dir).
However, the SAP documentation for the Activity Reporting (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/45/74eeda9ba26975e10000000a114a6b/frameset.htm) does not explicitly specify that the "Directory Name" property can be an absolute path on the server.
I've started the Activity Reporting for KM documents, but I don't have permissions to re-start the server anytime in order to test all the possible configurations. For now, the "Directory Name" is an absolute path. Can the "Directory Name" property of Actitity Reporting (KM) be an absolute path on the server? In order to start the Activity Reporting (KM), is it required to first start the Activity Data Collector?
    Thanks in advance,
    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,
I don't think you need to activate the first Active Data Collector you mentioned,
there are two ADC releases - one for Portal and one for KM
Does your requeriments specify you must use an absolute path? Otherwise I'd
suggest using a relative path (/usr/sap/<SID>/...) - haven't tested absolute paths though.
    so I don't know if that'd work.
There is How-To guide at SDN with detailed explanation of these topics, search and
elearning pages isn't working for me atm else I'd paste you the link but look for it:

  • To find the latest active date in case if any gap occurs

    Hi Experts,
I've to find the active date if employee is on leave, any kind, and joined again.
Is there any FM exist to find out the last active date before the gap??
    Regards,
    Jyoti Shankar

It would be worth chatting to someone functional in the HR area of the company that you are trying to do this for, as there are many different ways that have been implemented at different sites to say when exactly an employee started/finished.
Many companies will use IT0041 rather than relying on IT0000 because of the payroll complications that occur with making changes to IT0000 - not to mention that it is rare that a company has been on SAP HR so long that the IT0000 start dates actually reflect employee hire dates (normally a large part of them will reflect system cut-over date).
Also, many companies have taken the approach of using a new employee number when a person re-joins the company and just using a reference personnel number to copy the common data. In this case using IT0000 is not very useful.
Like was mentioned above, you're going to have to code something yourself, but it's worth finding out what the local processes for your company are first!
    Hope this is helpful,
    Chris

  • User login report in Active Directory for specific date and time

I want to get User login report in Active Directory for specific date and time e.g user logged in at15-01-2015 from 8:00am to 4:00pm
Is any query, script or any tool available?
    Waiting for reply please

You can identify the last logon date and time using my script here: https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/scriptcenter/Get-Active-Directory-User-bbcdd771
If you would like to get back in time and see when the user did a logon / logoff then you need to have auditing enabled. Once done, you can records from Security log in the event viewer: https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsserver/en-US/98cbecb0-d23d-479d-aa65-07e3e214e2c7/manage-active-directory-users-logon-logoff-events
I have started a Wiki about how to track logon / logoff and it can help too: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/20422.record-logon-logoff-activities-on-domain-servers-and-workstations-using-group-policy.aspx

  • Last Import Date Report

Hiya. I have several tables that are appended to (some daily, some weekly) via data workshop (HTML-DB 1.6.1/10g). The tables contain standard data (computer generated alerts, security scan results, &c.) and do not implement TS (because, frankly, I can't figure it out yet). I'd like to create a small report on the main page of my app that lists specified tables (T1, T2, T3) and reports-back the last time they were appended to so I can quickly see if they are up-to-date (e.g. "T1, 05/25/2005 13:35).
Would someone mind pointing me in the right direction? Thanks!

My suggestion is to use the vendors table (PO_VENDORS) and the checks table (AP_CHECKS_ALL). Bring in vendor id, vendor name, and check date. Use a Last_Value function on check date to return the last check date for the vendor. See if that might work out. Or if having trouble with that, define the join in the business area between the vendors table and the checks table to be an outer join on detail, that will return master rows with no detail and master rows with matching detail. Take out check date from the format and add sum of amount to the format. Then edit for a check date (say >= '01-Jan-2008') that if you don't have any activity for after that date, then you want to get rid of those vendors. Run the workbook and any vendor with no activity will show as a NULL value for sum of check amounts (so have to add Amount(SUM) from the checks table to the workbook item list). Vendors with activity after that check date will show a numeric amount (might be 0 if in and out). You can then add a condition to filter for amount IS NULL and get the list of vendors that you want to look at disabling. Worked like a charm when I tested that here.

  • Last Transaction Date Report

    hi
I'm trying to run a report in order to audit our database of suppliers (over 1000) (supplier records managed in symmetry)
I need to see against every supplier the last date that we paid them so that I can identify the ones not used in the last 2yrs and disable them.
the closest report I'm getting is one that shows every payment date for every supplier and is so large that I'm running out of space in excel when exporting the report.
Any advice on what items to select and parameters to set in order to get this report would be much appreciated!!!!!

  • Last Activity Created Month in reports

    Hi Experts,
Need to find the last activity created month with a particular value for an account in reports.
Didn't find any activity metrics for that.
Is there any work around for this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Lemu

    Hi Lemu,
It's not clear if your question is with getting the last activity or extracting the month? From the Activities subject area you can filter on Accounts to see all activities for a particular account. To see the Created Date month, expand the Activity: Created Date dimension to expose the Calendar Month / Qtr, etc.
You can use the RANK function (RANK("- Created Date".Date)) to replace the date value with a rank number, where 1 is the most recent date. You can then filter on this field to just get the most recent activity (RANK("- Created Date".Date) = 1).
If you need to get the Month from a date field that is not an expandable dimension, then you can use the conversion function Month or MonthName (MONTHNAME("- Created Date".Date)).
    Hope that helps!
