Opportunity items Single-Level Explosion of structured product
Hi everyone!
Is it possible to configure explosion of a structured products in opportunity?
I've managed to configure it in quotation, but it works there only if quotation is created separately, not as a follow-up transaction.
In opportunity explosion doesn't work at all. And what is interesting, when I'm creating a followup from opportunity, delete copied item in quotation and create the same one again, it explodes but can't determine subitem item category.
What I'm missing here? Please, advise.
Regards,
Alex.

WC27 - Single Item, Single Level(?)
Hello,
I would just like to ask if there is a way in transaction WC27 (for MRP Batch Run) to only run Single Item, Single Level Materials during processing?
I ask because I have a requirement (in addition to filtering material codes) to only run single item, single level entries for WC27 similar to MD03 but the customer wants the batch run feature.
Hope to hear from you soon.
RegardsHi,
As it is correctly answered by the gurus above that it's difficult/not possible to run Batch structured MRP for only run Single Item, Single Level plannings..
Hoiwever it can be mapped with the help of ABAPer to ask him/her to do some coding for standard report RMMRP000 .this is a standard ABAP report available within your SAP system (depending on your version and release level). there is also some standard documentation available for this report and a few details of other objects it interacts with such as tables, function modules, includes etc. If you would like to see the full code listing simply enter the object name( RMMRP000 ) into the relevant SAP transaction such as SE38 or SE80
Within the comments section below there is also an opportunity for anyone to be able add useful hints and information specific to this SAP object. This means that you and other users will be able to find these details quickly by simply searching on the object name.
Hope it could work for you.
All the best!

Opportunities and structured products
We have created an Item Category and selected option "Single-Level Explosion Of Structured Product" for attribute "Structure Scope" under "Define Item Category".
When we create an opportunity, the explosion of the product structure don't work. If we work with quotations or order the function works well. Any idea?Hi Jenny,
How did you solve this matter eventually? I am currently facing the same problem.
I have set up master data with the right item category groups (ERLA u. LUMF) set up item category determination, and maintained the master data in de proper way (Relationshiptype: Component)

Complaint - Structured Product - Not able to see the componentitem details.
Hi.
<b>First Question:</b>
I have a Structured Product (For eg. a Structured Producted is called Desktop Computer. It has two items say Monitor, Mouse.) In my complaint transaction, when I add this product, I dont see the components within it which are associated in the SAP GUI.
Note: In the Item Category determination for the header product, I have chosen the option 'Single Level explosion of structured products'.
But still I am not able to see the items when I add this Structured product to the complaint transaction. Can anybody throw any light as to what could be missing ?
<b>Second Question:</b>
Will the component items be visible in the ICSS. I am only seeing the product header but not seeing the items within it. What could be mising here ?Hi,
For marketing there is a standard Busines rolle MARKETINGPRO with
PFCG Rolle SAP_CRM_UIU_MKT_PROFESSIONAL. Please check whether it is also valid for
Utilities.
I dont see any Marketing workcenters and Links in the "SAP_CRM_UIU_UTIL_IC_LEAN_AGENT" Rolles.

Structured products (BOM explosion) in Marketing Campaign
Hi all,
I try to manage BOM explosion of structured products when a structured product is introduced into a marketing campaing.
Is it possible? In help.sap.com says "If the product is a structured product, you cannot explode to the product items. If you want to explode a structured product, you can either implement a Business Add-In (BAdI) or assign the structured product's items individually." but i don't find this BAdI.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you.Hi Anup,
These BAdIs are for material data exchange between SAP CRM and SAP R3.
I need to explode Structured Products in campaign in SAP CRM.
Thank you. -

Single level price determination is to calculate the unit price of material for a period. It takes into account the price differneces arising out of Price Differences like GR/IR Differences, Exchange Rate Differences, and revaluation differences to calculate the actual price of a material.
You can have more information of Single Level Price Determination at the following link:

What setting to be done for single level planning of following BOM.
M1
M1.1
M1.3
M1.2
M1.5
When MRP is run for M1...it shud create planed order for M1 only.....and when MRP is run for M1.1 then it shud create planed order for M1 .1 only...similarly for M1.2.JJ,
Lets see, you are using ETO, which by design is a multilevel planning process, using project/WBS as MRP segments, but you want to only plan the first level, and then the second level, at your discretion?
Standard SAP does not support this requirement. To me, it seems to defeat the whole concept of project planning. However, I will assume that you have a valid business requirement.
I suggest you speak to your developers to create a specialized selection userexit for MD01. You could craft it to select only M1 material. You could also craft it to select only M1.* materials on a subsequent run. Specifications of the selection process would have to be created by you.
Standard userexit for MD01 can be found in IMG>Production>MRP>Planning>User Exit Material Selection for planning run.

Adding a new Tab - ME22n - Item Detail Level
Hi,
This is a bit Urgent!
I need to add a Tab to a TabStrip in Item Detail level, in ME22n that has a count of 12.
Out of which 1 is custom made.
Someone else had done this development and i can't figure out how it's done.
Now, i am adding a 13th Tab.
There is a Enhancement Project made in CMOD.
Which has the component MM06E004 added to it.
I have added the subscreen 0201 to SAPLXM06.
And activated the both the enhancement Project and SAPLXM06.
In ME22n, i should be seeing the 13th Tab in the Item Detail level.
But i can't.
I have all together 23 fields... So i have no way but to add all the fields in a new Tab.
Please help.
Cheers,
RemiHi,
There are some points which you need to keep in mind before implimenting this exit.
First of all this is a transaction and check whether you need a selection screen ( of a program ) on your new tab which will be inserted in the transaction.
And to create a field you need to enable one of the screens depending on your requirement.
SAPMM06E 0101 CUSTSCR1 SAPLXM06 0101
SAPMM06E 0111 CUSTSCR1 SAPLXM06 0111
SAPMM06E 0201 CUSTSCR1 SAPLXM06 0201
SAPMM06E 0211 CUSTSCR1 SAPLXM06 0211
SAPMM06E 0301 CUSTSCR1 SAPLXM06 0301
SAPMM06E 0311 CUSTSCR1 SAPLXM06 0311
If you use any addditional fields you need to define these additional fields in following structures based on the requirement:
CI_EKKODB
CI_EKPODB
To pass data from the PBO / PAI modules you have to enable the suitable function exit based on the requirement. Enabling these exits would pass data from / to the additional screen.
EXIT_SAPMM06E_006
EXIT_SAPMM06E_007
EXIT_SAPMM06E_008
EXIT_SAPMM06E_009
EXIT_SAPMM06E_012
EXIT_SAPMM06E_013
EXIT_SAPMM06E_014
EXIT_SAPMM06E_016
EXIT_SAPMM06E_017
EXIT_SAPMM06E_018
So we can either add a additional tab at header level / item level in this transaction.

How to use the TreeControl's active item indent level
I am trying to query the indent level of an item in a TreeControl when I double-click the item. I have an event structure that captures the double-click event. In the handler, I read the Active Item:Indent Level property but it returns an error:
Error 1135 occurred at Property Node (arg 1) in Viewer Main.vi
Possible reason(s):
LabVIEW: The tree control's active item is not valid for this property.
Property Name: Active Item:Indent Level
Does anyone have code to show how to access the indent level for the Active Item?
Thanks,
-cbsmercurio_fc,
I may not be using the control properties correctly. The help for Active Item:Indent Level indicates that it will return the Item Indent value for the active selected tree item. The indent level indicates the depth in the tree at which the item exists. For instance, a value of 2 indicates that the item is a Child of a Child of a Root node. When I try to access the property, I get an error. I have attached a simple VI (8.2.1) that shows the error and the basics of how I was trying to use it. Can you point out my error or provide a corrected VI?
Thank you,
-cb

Item - OnHold / Valid - lock for new production orders
Hi
I am looking for a way to lock an item (with its BOM) for new production orders so that users can not add new production orders for this item until it has been unlocked by the responsible person (BOM needs to be checked by the responsible first).
However, it should still be possible to use (issue/receipt) this item in already existing production orders.
It should affect adding of new production orders only.
btw.: is there any difference in effect between OnHold and Valid settings for an item except for its inverted logic regarding the dates to set?
Thanks
FranzHi!
It is not possible to do this with ONHOLD or VALID field.
Try to use Stored Procedure or FMS.
If u use SP, write code like Block Adding Production Orders with X Item
If u use FMS, add a new UDF in Prod.Order row level which should be mandatory. Give Y as a Default Value for tht UDF.
Write a FMS like, Check the Current Line Item Code if it is X Item then make the UDF NULL else Default Value. This will block adding Production Order with X Item -
Cannot extract user statuses for Opportunity items
Hi,
Standard SAP Extractor does not extract User statuses for the Opportunity Items, Data Source name 0CRM_OPPT_I for 0CRM_C04 icube.
According the OSS note We have to prepare our own enhancement of the extract structure to include the mapping of the user status group.
We extended the related structure. There is no problem with this. We need a code sample for mapping of added field to extract structure.
There is a BAdI for this purpose : CRM_CSDR_BWA_MFLOW
I need to insert some ABAP code in this implementation.
Does anybody can give some code sample for this.
thanks,
YigitYou can also configure the user status for Opportunity Item also. If you want to enhance the dataSource, here is the sample for BAdI:
method if_ex_crm_bwa_mflow~enhance_data_source .
data: it_extract type table of CRMT_BW_OPPT_I,
wa_extract like line of it_extract.
case i_datasource.
when '0CRM_OPPT_I'.
it_extract = ct_data[].
refresh ct_data.
loop at it_extract into wa_extract.
Implement your logic here*****
All the statuses stores in CRM_JEST table*****
modify it_extract from wa_extract.
endloop.
ct_data[] = it_extract.
when others.
endcase.

Stocking Level- Two levels below the finished product
Hi all,
I want to maintain stock two levels below the finished product in MTO environment...How can i acheive this in SAP...Also i want to maintain forecast one level below the finished product..Please give ur expert opinion in order to achieve this requirement..
Actually scenario is Packed liquid is my finished material and forecast is given at liquid level and both these levels are not produced until a sales order arrives...i am taking liquid as SFG, please suggest otherwise if i m not moving in right direction.
Thx
ShahHi,
Kindly follow the steps mentioned below, I hope it addresses your query.
Warm regards,
Umesh
Process Scenario & the BOM structure
Level 1: ZURP_PKG_LIQUID <Sales order received here>
Level 2: ZURP_LIQUID < Forecast done here to plan lower level materials, this material is planned on the receipt of sale order at higher level>
Level 3: ZURP_RM_LIQUID < Procured/Produced and kept in inventory>
Step no 1: OMP0 use Requirement class u2018103u2019 or create a copy u2018Z70u2019
Step no 2: OMP1 create a new requirement type u2018Z70u2019 and assign the Requirement class u2018103u2019 to it.
Step no 3: SPRO define a new strategy u20187Tu2019 and assign requirement type u2018Z70u2019
Step 4: SPRO create strategy group u20187Tu2019 & assign the strategy u20187Tu2019
Step 5: MM02 u2013 MRP3 view Assign this strategy to material code ZURP_LIQUID at which forecast is done
In MRP4 view leave the individual/collective indicator blank
For Material ZURP_PKG_LIQUID maintain strategy group as u201820u2019
For Material ZURP_RM_LIQUID maintain strategy group as u201810u2019 & individual/collective indicator as u20182u2019
Step 6: MD61 Create Planned independent requirement for ZURP_LIQUID
Step 7: MD02 Execute MRP for ZURP_LIQUID
Note: Planned orders for ZURP_LIQUID are created, but they cannot be converted into Production order, but this triggers requirement down the line triggering procurement/production for material ZURP_RM_LIQUID
Step 8: VA01 Create a sales order for ZURP_PKG_LIQUID
MD02 Execute MRP for ZURP_PKG_LIQUID
Note: The MRP run triggers the procurement proposal for ZURP_LIQUID, which can be converted to production order & simultaneously reduces the created PIR -
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SINGLE LEVEL AND MULTI LEVEL COSTING
Sir,'
Please explain the difference between Single Level and Multi Level Costing in Detail
thanking YouWhile using material ledger, we can use the single level or multi-level price determination for valuation of inventory.
Procurement processes are used in Product Cost Controlling to determine procurement costs and to present those costs. Purchase Order, for example, is single-level procurement and Production is multilevel procurement.
Single-level material price determination calculates the periodic unit price for a material. The standard price and the cumulative single-level differences of the period are taken into account. Single-level material price determination takes into account the differences that arise directly when a material is procured.
Multilevel price determination calculates the periodic unit price for a material. The standard price, the single-level differences cumulated in the period, the differences between planned and actual prices, as well as input material differences (multilevel differences) are all taken into account.
Single-level material price determination is a prerequisite for Multi-level price determination.
