Opportunity not seen in the Account data

Hi
We created an opportunity in the Web UI for a particular customer. When we search for opportunities, we find it in the list.
But when we are in the accounts information using the accounts management, this particular opportunity doesnt appear in the "Opportunities" Dataset.
Could any one please help us understand and solve the reason behind this behaviour.

Now we are facing a new problem
After maintianing the setting that for a particular role, the opportunities should be seen for Y+1 Year, we are unable to see the other opportunities in current and last year.
And system doesnt allow us to maintian more entries.
Can you please help.

Requirement to change the accounting date

Hi All,
A customer wants to have the accounting date on the journal entries influence by the date they need the goods.
Basically what they want is to create a requisition, fill at line level the date required and have this date being used as the accounting date when importing the journal entry lines.
Is this possible, and if so how?
Currently we've tried to update the encumbrance date on the requisition and po. But this doesn't seem to influence the accounting date being used when the journal entries are being created.
So, is there a solution or is this not possible at all?

As i am mainly a HR specialist and finance is relatively new to me i can be quite puzzling i guess ;)
Anyway, i got this little assignment from another consultant who believed (and so does the customer) that changing the encumbrance date influences the accounting date.
So basically what they want is to have the accounting date set to the need by date of the requisition the create.
So basically they want to keep that date through the whole process (as in understand it).
So an example:
You create a requisition with a need by date of 21-05-2010.
You approve this requisition and then create an order via autocreate.
After the order is approved etc you create the journal entry (they use the "Program - Create Journals" for this).
When you look at the journal entry created by the concurrent program they want to have the accounting date set to 21-05-2010 instead of what now happens 31-5-2010.
Hopefully this sheds some light at the situation?
So the question remains, is this possible at all and if so how?

Cannot add hub-managed content type with external list lookup columns to a list -- Error:Id field is not set on the external data field

We are using SP 2010 Content Hub to manage our content types. On the content hub we've created a couple of exteranl lists, and then created some site columns as lookups against these lists. We then added the columns to one of our content types
and set it to publish.
After the publishing job executed, I tried adding the content type (which now appears on the subscriber sites) to one of the document libraries on one of the subscriber sites. When I did that it threw the following error:

The issue is not External Content type or external list but the look up column.
It's not possible to publish a look up column via the Content Type Hub.
If you need to do this then an alternate way is to use a Managed Metadata column instead, otherwise you will have to implement this via a feature.

After upgrading to 10.3.1 Any kind of USB key is not seen by the OS, even after restarting the operating system.
With original OS 10.3 could connect USB key to transfer my photos with file manager.

There a lot of issues being discovered by users doing the upgrade OTA or using Link. And they are varied. It's had to say whether your problem another of these issues or something else. Those I trust are recommending a clean OS install using an autoloader as so far there are not the same problems afterward.
You could try the autoloader route. Do a backup first. After the clean OS install, test before you do a restore and install app. If problem is gone, then you know the clean OS works. The next question will be if the problem returns when you restore or add apps.

What this mean? "could not rasterize because the pixel data for this layer is not"

I've taken a color picture and made it black and white by doing the following: Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Hue/Saturation. I brought the saturation down to -100. The pencil is selected and my foreground color is black.
When I try to select the flowers in my picture to bring out their color (within the black and white image), I get a circle with a black line thru it and the error message "could not rasterize because the pixel data for this layer is not directly editable". The steps I followed are working for most of my team but some of us are getting this error message.
Any idea why and/or how to fix it?

Ah, thank you! I didn't have the mask selected. So once I did select it, the color came thru like magic.

Decimals not seen in the query...

Hi Guys,
I have a problem with the query..
I have loaded a KF with 2 decimal places in the cube.
But when I run a query created on the cube, the digits after the decimal place are not seen in the query.
For e.g. the value of the KF in the cube is 9.85...but in the query, it is seen as 9
please let me know where do i need to make the changes.
FYI..the unit of the KF is %. Has this got anything to do with the problem ?

I am trying to modify the value of the field "Job Code" through API I am getting the following error.(OIM11gr2). I do not get this error when updating the other fields. User start date can not be before the current date

I'm creating users using the Reconciliation engine. The start date attribute doesn't appear to be reconciling. I get many different types of parse errors. The closest I appear to get is when I set the Xellerate User resource object recon field to have Start date as a date field, i receive the error:
"User start date can not be before the current date.".
I'm using 9.0.1.1. And I AM trying to create a user that has a start date before todays date.

Resolution was to patch to 9.0.1.1578

we are using the following scnario,
1. Once the user creates the sales order, automatically system creates PO in the background.
we have created Bapi program for creation of Background PO in SD User Exit.
The following issue occurs in Prd, DS1, QS1 server, We have done Technical upgradation project, Now when we creates sales order automatically po created with error message of Material availablity date can not be after the delivery date. even sales order no also not updated in the PO.
QAS server (without technical upgrade) i refered the same input parameter and used the same and create the sales order system generates PO automatically without error message.
Does any one can through lights on this issue,

The dates are determined due to shipping and transportation scheduling settings. So check whether the shipping and transportation scheduling is being performed as per the cofiguration settings after Technical upgrade. Since the MAD date should not be after Delivery date but it seems that the dates are not determined properly.
Also check the Transit time, Loading time, Pick/Pack time and Lead time are retained as same as before the technical upgrade. Use the QAS server settings to validate the settings in other servers.

AADSTS70001: Application '.....' is not registered for the account.

I am trying to create a web asp.net application to add a user to Azure Active Directory(ADD). I have the single Sign on working properly. AD and Application are created. When I try to add a new user to the AD via my codebehind I get AADSTS70001:
Application '-------' is not registered for the account.
I am in development so I am using locolhost as the domain. I am using Microsoft.IdentityModel.Clients.ActiveDirectory and AcquireToken. That is where the error happens.
Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Not sure what you mean by registering the app in the tenant. If that is adding the app in the AAD tenant, then yes, I've done that. However, does the APP ID URI in the tenant need to match the URL for the app (i.e. http://localhost:xxxxx)?

Check to make sure cellular data is not disabled in settings. If it's on, try re-setting the phone. If that doesn't fix it, call AT&T.

SmallSearchInputBox not seen in the Migrated site from SP 2010 to SP 2013

We did the content database attach migration and didnt use any tool.
We reworked on the Master Page by taking the seattle.master page and put the custom placeholders.
The design came out well, but the SmallsearchInputbox is not seen in the "View All Site Content" and the Home Page.

What did you mean by “We reworked on the Master Page by taking the seattle.master page and put the custom placeholders”?
Did you set the seattle.master page as the default master page for the migrated site?
If yes, I recommend to set the master page to be v4.master and then do visual upgrade for the migrated sites.
After that, add the custom placeholders to the seattle.master page and then check the results.
