Opration activity in routing

Dear Experts,
Knidly reply me,how to display list of changes in operation/activity number in new component assignment in routing. also the changes in opration/activity in mas tcode .
I tried in cewb and ca95n but the thing dint work. Kindly help me out
thanks and regards
S kotian

Dear Kotian,
This are only Std Reports to check the changes made in routing ( with out ECM implemented )
if ECM is activated then you can get changes made, in CC02
More over how you have executed AUT10
Upper side you can find two option, make a tick mark for both of change
also you need to check with the dates & user id  option carefully
This is only Std way

  • Changing UOM and activity in routing

    Dear All,
we have defined an activity compressed air with uom FT3 in routing. Compressor are runned on electricity. The power bill is being received for kwh. Now the management wants to change the uom to kwh and subsequently the quantity also.
Now the problem is there are approx. 5000 FG materials where the change is required to be done.
Please give suggestions how to achieve this.
I understand that in CUNI we can develop the conversion factor from FT3 to KWH. Any other workaround available.

    Hi,
Try with CEWB (Engineering Workbench) where you need to select Working Area SAP_OPERATION     Focus: Operation where you will get Operations Overview screen in mass.
    Hope this helps.

  • NPD - no edit authorization in Activity's routing requirements TAB

    Hello,
I set up all activity templates with several steps and several functional areas per step.
It means each functional area is the owner of a specific step.
These areas should be responsible for completing all assigned tasks within their step BUT they must not have permission to edit routing requirement TABs.
Only one team (P2M Team) should be authorized to change "amber in/red in days", for example.
This team is not necessarily owner of activity steps.
Would it be possible to setup NPD module accordingly?
    Thanks and regards
    Daniele

    Hello,
Thank you very much for your feedback.
If it is so, I do not agree with this system design.
Let's use the example you gave.
we are in step 2 where the owner is P2M Team.
You say the owner can make all changes he wants, in the routing requirement too.
I previously set up in its related activity template as follows:
    in amber days : 10
    in red days : 20
P2M team now goes and changes this setting as follows:
    in amber days : 100
    in red days : 200
This team is lazy and does not want to go past deadlines.
System does not keep track of it so P2M team can still blame other team to change it.
    Thanks and regards

  • Routing in Stock Transfer Order

    Hi,
We are having SAP 4.7 & we have activated Transportation Routing process.
Routing is copied in Sales order & Delivery. But the same is not copied in the stock transfer Order. We are doing following steps.
We are using Stock Transfer order to transfer the material from One storage location to another storage location. Supplying Plant & Receiving Plant are same in Stock transfer Order. We are entering Receiving STorage location & Shipping point in the STO.
Is this b'coz of Supplying plant & receing plant are same in the STO ? Or i need to active something els for this.
    Kindly revert back.
    Thanks in advance.
    Samir Bhatt

    Hi,
this is one of the problems caused by an organisation structure that is not quite matching the "real world".
In SAP each Plant should have a unique address and the storage locations are thought of as areas within that address.
If you have two sites that have different addresses, they should <u>ideally</u> be separate plants. You can then use all of the available functionality within SAP that you would expect.
If you want to set up a route that goes from one address to another than this is possible, but in your case you are actually saying that you want a route for s delivery from and too the same address, not really a real world scenario.
So if you really want to do this then each site should be a plant. I expect that it is too late to change your design but it is important for others reading this to understand the problems that are caused when Storage locations are used instead of Plants for physically separate addresses.
Sorry if this is not much help to you but it should help you to understand why you are having a problem.

  • Route determination for PO and Delivery

    Hi Experts,
I would like to ask how to set up route fro deliveries and Stock transport orders.
Hope you can help me on this.
    Thank you very much.

    Working with Route Schedules
    Use
Using a route schedule, you can control periodic customer deliveries of a particular shipping point to different ship-to parties (for example, customers or stores) in a certain sequence on a certain defined route. The planning is based on calendar weeks. The period unit is a day. Also, route schedules have a goods issue time.
The route schedule function supports the following processes:
Periodic deliveries from a shipping point to stores or customers are planned in advance on the basis of calendar weeks and weekdays, also without reference to particular deliveries.
You adapt the schedules in the specific cases to the planning. For example, you can plan a GI date for a Monday at 8 o’clock, without knowing the exact date or the delivery.
On the basis of this planning, deliveries that are to leave the warehouse at the same time are combined into groups. In Shipping you can thus distribute the workload by processing these groups.
    Features
You can display all deliveries for a particular route schedule on a particular day, for a particular shipping point, and so on. In this way, for example, you can choose picking lists on the basis of route schedules.
You can create route schedules for the following documents:
    Sales orders
    Stock transfer orders
Deliveries that are based on sales orders, store orders, stock allocations, stock transfer orders, and deliveries without reference.
The route schedule is displayed in the header data of the delivery. For each delivery within the route, the system prints the expected date and the expected time of the delivery (on the basis of the local time at the original shipping point) on the delivery note; the goods issue date is used for the goods issue posting and the stock valuation.
In Customizing, you define for each shipping point, delivery type, stock transfer order, and order type whether or not route schedules are to be used.
You create the route schedules in the master data for shipping. Here you define the route schedule determination and the validity period for the route schedule and the itinerary.
As soon as the legs have been defined, you can branch to another screen to determine the actual itinerary, as well as the time (days/hours/minutes) required to get from one unloading point to the next. In this screen there is a field beside each leg. Here you can enter the number of the itinerary for the individual legs of the route. If, for example, you enter legs A and B, but assign itinerary number 2 and 1 to these, B is the first unloading point on this route. If you press Enter, the legs are displayed in the correct sequence.
At the same time it is possible to control the route schedule determination for each delivery type, stock transfer order, and order type. It is activated in the same manner as the repeated route determination. If the route schedule determination for a delivery is active, the system automatically attempts, during creation or change of a delivery, to determine a route schedule and records this in the delivery. Simultaneously, the scheduling is adjusted. All the deadlines, for example, the transportation planning time, the picking time, the loading time, the goods issue time, and the delivery time can change.
Deliveries with the same route schedule and the same date can be selected for the same picking run and the same goods issue. The same procedure can be used for printing delivery notes and freight lists, for the grouping of deliveries into shipments, and for confirmation of picking orders.
Deliveries that leave the warehouse at the same time, but are assigned to different routes and can therefore have different route schedules, can be combined together and processed through the creation of wave picks. The only condition is that all deliveries have the same goods issue time.
    Route Schedule Determination
If exactly one route schedule is defined for a particular combination of requirements, then the system will use this.
For each combination of requirements for the route schedule determination, you can define several route schedules.
In the case of a delivery without a preceding document, the system determines the route schedule with the earliest delivery time at the ship-to party.
In the case of deliveries based on preceding documents (for example, stock transfer orders), the system searches for the route schedule that is nearest to the planned date/time of the delivery. The system uses the following search algorithm:
    - If a route schedule exists for the specified time, this is assigned to the delivery.
    - If there is no route schedule for the time specified, the system searches for the previous route schedule up to the GI time.
    - If there is no route schedule from the GI time to the planned time, the system searches for the next route schedule in the future and assigns this to the delivery.
    Requirements for Route Schedules
The route schedules are determined by the following conditions:
    · Shipping point
Where are the goods coming from?
    Ship-to party and unloading point
Where are the goods going to?
    Shipping condition
How are the goods being shipped?
    Transportation group
    Which goods are shipped?
® For example, which type of goods?
    Calendar week / year
When are the goods to be shipped?
If you do not explicitly enter the week and the year, the entry applies for each calendar week. If you enter a week and a year, the route schedule only applies for this week.
You can only use route schedules if you have maintained the working times and therefore at least one of the following times in minutes:
    · Transportation planning time
    · Pick/pack time
    · Loading time
    · Transit time
A route schedule can leave the warehouse exactly once in a week. If a route schedule runs several times, either on several days or several times a day, it must be copied to another route schedule.
Special schedules and public holiday weeks are possible.
    Processing a Route Schedule
    Implementation Options
Wholesale trade customers and stores can receive goods at regular intervals. These delivery rhythms have an influence on the workload in the warehouse. To help delivery planning, the route schedule serves as a tool for planning regular, repetitive customer deliveries on a particular route. At the time of planning, potential deliveries that have not yet been created are grouped in the route schedule. When the deliveries are created, the system can automatically determine a route schedule and assign it to the delivery. All deliveries with the same route schedule and the same date can be processed together in the shipping point. All these deliveries leave the shipping point together at a particular time. They are distributed along the same geographical route.
    · Deliveries for route schedule MO10H leave the shipping on Mondays at 10:00 in the direction of Philadelphia.
    · Deliveries for route schedule MO10M leave the shipping point on Mondays at 10:00 in the direction of Boston.
    · Deliveries for route schedule MO10S leave the shipping point on Mondays at 10:00 in the direction of New York.
You can print picking lists for all deliveries that belong to route schedules MO10H - MO10S together.
    Prerequisites
If you want to define route schedules, you must perform the following tasks:
    - Activate the route determination
    - Activate the delivery scheduling
    - Activate the route schedule for your shipping point and make the following settings:
    Transaction
    Activity
    Delivery
Route schedule determination for delivery type
    Sales order
Route schedule determination for sales document type
    Stock transfer order
Route schedule determination for delivery type
Set delivering plant and order type
Maintenance of the itinerary should be uniform for all the route schedules used. To ensure exact planning, maintain the itinerary for all the route schedules. If rough planning is sufficient in this case, you do not need to maintain the itinerary for a route schedule.
If you do not define any goods accepted times in the customer master for the unloading points of the ship-to party, the system assumes that the goods acceptance is possible at any time. The system determines the delivery time from the departure time in the route schedule plus the required traveling time to the ship-to party, as set in the itinerary (specific move time). This delivery time must be within the goods acceptance time of the unloading point of the ship-to party. If not, the respective route schedule is not determined during delivery creation.
For more information on route schedules, refer to the Implementation Guide (IMG) under Route Schedules.
    Process Flow
Select the shipping point you are working for and enter the number of the route schedule.
Enter the data that defines the route schedule more exactly:
    - Description of the route schedule
    - Route
    - Departure day (weekday)
    - Departure time
You define the route schedule determination. When you create the delivery, the system can determine a route schedule on the basis of the following data:
    - Shipping point
    - Ship-to party
    - Unloading point (if available)
    - Shipping condition
    - Transportation group
    - (Optional) year/period
You enter this data (with the exception of the shipping point already entered in step 1).
You decide whether or not you wish to define the itinerary for this route schedule.
(Optional) You enter the itinerary and, if required, also the travelling time.
    Creating a Route Schedule
Choose Logistics ® Logistics Execution ® Master data ® Transportation ® Routes ® Route schedule ® Create.
In the screen Create Route Schedule: Initial Screen, enter the shipping point and the number of the route schedule.
If you wish to use data from an existing route schedule as a reference, enter the respective shipping point and the number of that route schedule. If you also wish to copy the itinerary, check the Copy itinerary box.
    Press ENTER .
The Create Route Schedule screen appears (here the system displays the number you just entered for the route schedule and the shipping point).
    Enter the following data:
    Description of the route schedule
    The respective route
    Departure day (weekday)
    Departure time
In the Determine route schedule section, enter the following data:
    Ship-to party
    Unloading point (if available)
    Shipping conditions
    Transportation group
    (Optional) Year/period
If you wish to define for this route schedule the itinerary according to which the individual ship-to parties are to be delivered to, choose Extras ® Itinerary.
    The Create Itinerary screen appears.
Enter the itinerary and, if necessary, the travelling time.
When you determine the travelling time from one ship-to party to the next, you should include the wait time of the vehicle at the previous ship-to party.
If the same route is planned for several route schedules, define for each of these route schedules the same itinerary that should correspond to the stages and legs of the route.
    Choose Goto ® Back.
You return to the Create Route Schedule screen.
In this screen, the Itinerary maintained field is now selected. If you wish to add other ship-to parties, you must also maintain the Itinerary for them.
Check your data and save your entries.
    Reward if helpful...

  • FTP client on Router

    Hello All,
I am trying to test file transfer via ftp client on the 2811 router and 3550 switch. I am using a very small adhoc ftp server  (ftpdmin) on my laptop. However I get strange error that I am not able to find resolution. The Root Directory for FTP has read / write permissions to everyone.
Here is some capture of the ftp logs as well as router / switch command that I am trying to test:
    Switch#copy run ftp://10.10.10.1
Address or name of remote host [10.10.10.1]?
    Destination filename [switch-confg]?
    Writing switch-confg
    %Error writing ftp://10.10.10.1/switch-confg (Undefined error)
    And on Laptop:
    C:\>ftpdmin C:/TFTP-Root
    ftpdmin v. 0.96  Jun 7 2004
    Using 'C:\TFTP-Root' as root directory
ftpdmin ready to accept connections on ftp://10.10.10.1
        220 Minftpd ready

    STOR switch-confg
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection
    connect() failed: No error
        550 No error
What could be wrong? There is no firewall or anything else that is blocking. I have tested both ftp passive and active on router.
Please advise as I am planning to do IOS upgrades on 2811and 1841 routers on a VPN network remotely from HQ and want to make sure that the large images get transfered soonest possible (I have to delete existing images to be able to accomodate the new image, and in absence of any image on flash, I want to make sure that new image is transfered soonest via FTP rather than using TFTP byte by byte and wait and acknowledgement protocol. I am also not sure if  tftpd32 or any other tftp server and cisco routers themselves will permit larger than 32MB images to be transfered over tftp.
    Much thanks.

Folks, I was able to resolve this issue.
But I find is that contrary to but I had read that default passive does not work very well, and we need to set router / switch to active mode with "no ip ftp passive", I removed that and with default passive mode, it works fine now with my little adhoc FTPDMIN written by Matthias Wandel (http://www.sentex.net/~mwandel/ftpdmin/).
I had earlier tried other ftp servers (and had tried default passive mode) and it wwas not working.
Thanks and have a great day.

  • Does inverse arp forward routing protocols?

I know by doing the, frame-relay map ip <x.x.x.x> (dlci #) broadcast routing protocols work in my lab inside of packet tracer. But when I was just doing inverse arp dynamically, "Serial0/0 (up): ip 80.53.32.1 dlci 25, dynamic, broadcast, CISCO, status defined, active" the routing protocols do not work. Is there a way to have inverse arp to work with broadcast?

Cool, i'll read it in just a big. Would you also happen to know if a cloud in Packet Tracer is able to work from point-to-point (sub interfaces) frame relay networks? I am attempting it and I can't get the cloud to except more then a few mappings of the sub interfaces dlci's so only half of it works, the rest I get an error message

  • Default Activities in Routing

    Hi Friends,
We have assigned activities with work centers, but after creating routing and we are not getting the activities in routing therefrore in CK11N, we are not getting these activities.
Please suggest how can we get the activity in routing.
    Kraheja.

    Dear Raheja,
Check whether have you assigned the proper work center in the routing for the individual operation.
check whether the usage of the work center is 009 - all task list types.
check whether the work center is locked, goto CR02->extras->status - lock/unlock.
Check the status and usage of the routing is as usage - 1 production and status is - 4 released general.
    Check and revert back.

  • Internet stops with PPTP VPN connections to ASUS RT-N66U VPN Router

I have a client with a small office network that has a few people working remotely from Windows 7 and 8 PCs. As an inexpensive solution the client opted to use a VPN router (ASUS RT-N66U) that supports PPTP so remote users could access the shared
    files and SQL DB server.
The VPN connectivity for one client was working fine and then stopped working altogether so when the VPN connection is established all Internet and VPN access is stopped. This was especially troubling for me since I work remotely and cannot test or debug after
the VPN session has been connected. I checked the error logs and found nothing. Also there had been no new programs installed. And finally, I ran a full system antivirus scan with no issues found.
In case you are facing a similar issue, before trying something remotely that may not work, use the shutdown with reboot command in a COMMAND window and set a timer for something like 3 minutes to reboot in case you get stuck. (e.g. shutdown -r -t 180).
Problem: The two symptoms of the VPN connection failure are:
    1) All Internet browsing stops working locally
    2) No data can pass through the VPN tunnel
I created a virtual machine on my local network and replicated the client's environment. I experimented with nearly every setting in the VPN dialogue until and came to the final solution.
Solution: For the VPN adapter on the remote machines I configured DNS settings and used the remote as the default gateway.
    * VPN adapter Networking IPV4 Properties for:
    - DNS server 1: Main Office VPN Router IP Address
    - DNS server 2: A public DNS server (Google is 8.8.8.8)
    - I also checked the box to "register this connection addresses in DNS"
Note: Perhaps the local router would also have worked and DNS2 but I didn't test it.
I have documented this because after reading and searching among many Technical articles and the Microsoft support website, I was unable to find the solution that I came up with so I hope to help someone else.
Question1: - Can anyone tell me why the connectivity only works when 'use default gateway on remote network' is checked?
    - I have disabled this option with some business class VPN routers and the connectivity still worked to the remote network but it does not work to the Asus router.
Question2: From the information provided can I determine where the problem lies?
    Is it the:
    1) Remote client PC
    2) Remote client router
    3) Home office VPN router (Asus RT-N66U)
If the true culprit cannot be determined yet, what steps do you recommend so I can isolate the true cause of the failure.
I appreciate any help so that I can be sure my solution is valid and pass along the findings to ASUS if it is their issue.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have successfully connected through the VPN router when the one client was unable to get VPN throughput working.
I looked at the routing tables with and without the VPN connection established. The differences are that:
    1) when VPN is NOT active, there is a route from the local NIC IP to the Internet IP address of the local gateway
    destination 68.109.82.xx
    mask 255.255.255.0
    gateway 192.168.0.1
    interface 192.168.0.11
    metric 21
    2) when VPN IS active, the route to the Internet IP address of the local gateway is deleted and a persistent route to the VPN router local network has been added
    Persistent route:
    destination 192.168.21.0
    mask 255.255.255.0
    gateway 192.168.0.1
    interface 192.168.0.11
    metric 1

  • PP and PS activity type

    Dear PP and PS Expert,
I am not good in PS but i know about PP. I have a requirement that Production order is created with respect to WBS element. And as we know in PS we have activity and also in PP we have activity.
So do we assign activity to routing of production order or only at PS activity will be there or activity will be present at both side.
In production order settlement receiver is material but in case of wbs how settlement takes place.
    Regards,
    Saurabh

    Hi Saurabh,
Your manufacturing material(MAT-A) with help of PP order and then MAT-A will be used in PS. So to get the manufacturing cost of material (MAT-A) for production, PP activity has to be maintain in Routing.
Now this material MAT-A is manufactured and issued to Project.
(Example) This MAT-A is now required for building assembly or any other thing in PS, so capturing activity cost in Project system, PS activity is required.
    Thank,
    A Vaidya

  • Airport Extreme , Router, Modem set up question: Extreme now flashing yello

Trying to help a disabled friend and my thinking is stuck
Friend has new Macbook, using it wirelessly. Setup which was fine until this week: Older cable modem needs a Wireless Router piggybacked onto it to accommodate wireless. Modem connected to Cable Ethernet hooks the router to the Modem. AirportE Extreme connected via Ethernet cable to the Router. Until this week, Airport showed the solid normal green. The disabled man " did something on his computer" - he cannot recall what he did - may have been a firmware upgrade message- and lost connectivity.
Last night I re-establshed connectivity but the Airport now flashes yellow and Airport Utility cannot find the Airport.
Despite that , the man has internet connection, Network Preference shows Green radio buttons for Internet and the Airport signal thingee in the menu bar shows all bars black.
    My puzzle:
    1) the Extreme flahing yellow and cannot be found
    2) The network which is active, named Router is NOT the network which was active ( I set up things up initially months ago, have notes which indicate we had a different network operative in past)
    3) I cannot use Manual set up.. that option remains grayed out
    4) I tried to reset Airport Extreme to factory settings, but Holding a pen tip in the reset button for well over a minute did not seem to reset anything.
With all this, the man has internet connectivity! I saw it, tested it (went to website that could not have been in the cache, sent myself an email.. connections are patent but I do not know how.
Is it possible the gentleman's attempt to do the firmware update scrambled the Airport extreme?
Any thoughts what I might try?
I also asked the gentleman to call the ISP about an updated cable modem so we don't need to piggy back the linksys router to get wireless.

Directly connect a computer to one of the Extreme's LAN ports and open AirPort Utility. Does this allow AirPort Utility to find the Extreme?

  • Trying to migrate to routed mode

We have multiples css11k configured as bridge mode.
The firewall has direct connection to all DMZ (one vlan per DMZ) and it is the default gateway for all servers. The CSS11K is connected to all DMZs and using the group NAT to relay traffic to the real servers. The firewall does NAT for public to private VIP.
We are trying to migrate to routed mode so the servers can capture true source IP addresses, reduce the number of default routes in the CSS and remove the public VIP NATed in the firewall (to setup content rule VIP using the public ip address).
A new test DMZ is setup and it is connected by CSS and the real HTTPs servers. A test ip address is
configured at the firewall without NAT and the firewall is configured to route the incoming traffic to the CSS through one of the existing DMZ. The content rule of the CSS is configured using the test public ip address. I can see traffic in/out through the two sniffers I setup (between f/w and CSS, and CSS and real server). Most of time, we cannot get page displayed. The firewall log showed all traffic in/out through the correct interface. The sniffer showed data retransmission, tcp rest, tcp out of order .....
    Any suggestion.
p.s. The ssl certificate is associated with the public ip address. The server is working fine if we connect the firewall directly to the new test DMZ and have firewall does the server IP NAT.

  • Router MI424WR - Device Names to MAC Addresses Question

I have Verizon FiOS with an ActionTec MI424WR Router. I have many devices connected to it on our home network: ipods, ipads, nook, kindles, laptop, roku, and a desktop.
For each device, I found its MAC address. Then I logged into the router and went to "My Network." There, I renamed each device (for example, from "android-alsdfjl3kljasdf" to "JonKindle" and "new-host-4" to "MaryIpad"). That way, I'll be able to go to the parental controls rules screen and assign each device to rules as I like.
    Problem:
The names keep changing back to "android-alsdfjl3kljasdf" and "new-host-4". Not only that, but somehow, the MAC addresses keep changing. Is there a way to keep that from happening?
I thought MAC addresses were assigned to a piece of hardward and didn't change. Can someone please enlighten me?
    Thanks,
    smy

The trick to make the [name, MAC address] permanent is to assign a static DHCP lease to each device.  Otherwise, when the lease expires and the device is no longer active, the router forgets everything about it.
As for changing MAC address, you are correct, they shouldn't change.
If you have multiple "Android-xxx" devices they may be coming up in a different order, thus creating the appearance of changing addresses.  Make a list of every active MAC address and attempt to correlate it to your devices.  The next time you think one changed, look and see if it's on your list.
MAC addresses can be changed by the user on some devices, however this is typically only done to "play" with a network or circumvent security features.
    Good Luck.

  • HSRP (standby taking time time to become active)

    hi
i was configuring HSRP on my cisco 3550 switches
    my topology is
i am doing this on live equipment.
hsrp is working but the problem  is i lose around 4 pings every time when the standby switch to active
    my configuration is

You're always going to lose *some* traffic while HSRP figures out the primary is dead and enables the secondary. 4 PING's isn't much, assuming an average network latency of 30 msec per PING that's only 120 msec - just over a tenth of a second.
You could try lowering your standby timers furter, but you've already got them lower than Cisco's recommended minimum (1 second/4 seconds), so all you'll do is increase your CPU load without any real benefit.
From memory, there are other protocols which provide a form of active/active redundant router scenario - maybe you should look into one of those. I'm sure someone will point out what they are (or smack me across the back of the head if I'm wrong!). :-)
    Cheers
