Optimizing apple devices interconnectivity

Hi,I have a huge collection of music,photos & movies.Recently I decided to shift into using apple products so now I have a Macbook pro, an iPad2, an Apple TV, a Time Capsule and an iPhone. How can connect all devices in a way that optimizes the usage of each? Where should the media be stored? it cannot fit on the notebook, is it wise to put a part of it on the Time Capsule?

The TC is for backups.. you can store files that are not live.. ie shared but not used directly by software on the computer.. Interacting with live files in a library on the TC is prone to cause multiple issues..
For iphoto it will corrupt the entire library.
For Itunes it will simply lose connection continually.
The TC is not a media device.. it is a router with a hard disk in it.
For media sharing in a network.. Apple has specific instructions.

iTunes must run on a computer.. A mac mini is the ideal media computer.. it is compact.. very low power consumption and able to add hard disk.. 2012 model by USB3 which are fast and cheap. You don't need brand new but it is worth thinking about what you will spend for earlier model.. 2011 have
Thunderbolt.. extremely expensive but super fast port.. you can buy a box and use it for video and esata and usb3.. but it costs near $300. Or Thunderbolt drives which begin around the same price.
USB2 .. slow. but very cheap.
Firewire 800.. a good standard.. for yesteryear. About twice the speed of USB2 when it works well.. some FW800 disks are same as USB2 eg WD FW drives..
Internal disks in the mini are laptop.. so you are limited in size.. but you can buy a doubler kit from OWC to mount two drives.

I'm considering on making a new Apple ID as I currently share one. If I create a new one, will my Apple devices be wiped of content?

I share an Apple ID at the moment. I am considering making a new one for services such as iMessage and Facetime. If I create a new Apple ID will my Apple devices (iPhone, iPod Touch) be all wiped of my content? Nothing will be gone or wiped. Yes, your purchases remain tied to the existing AppleID, but you can create as many new AppleIDs as you wish (or at least, as you have email addresses for) and use a different one for each apple service.
So you can continue to use the current AppleID for the iTunes and App store, and create a new one for iCloud and iMessage (or even use a third one for iMessage if you wish to).
That is probably the optimal thing for a family or spouses - one shared AppleID for purchased content, separate AppleID(s) for iCloud/iMessage and other services (like these very forums).

The iTunes Store sells songs in AAC format. Most Android phones can play AACs. Just sync them to your phone per the instructions with the phone.
If by any chance your phone does require MP3 format, you can use iTunes to convert the files, per this guide:
iTunes: How to convert a song to a different file format - Apple Support
(This conversion does not require burning.)
For future reference, note that the iTunes Store is really optimized for people using Apple devices. You might find it more convenient to buy music in Mp3 format from Amazon Digital Music or Google Play Music.

Inline video playback for Apple devices in responsive projects (Captivate 8)

Hello,
I know that Captivate itself does not support inline browser playback for videos on Apple devices, but I was wondering if there might be a way to edit the HTML of a responsive project to add inline playback tags (like the ones listed here). Or maybe some other solution that accomplishes the same goal?
The context is that I will be developing 45 minute course (heavily animated) that my organization wants to be mobile-optimized. I'm developing all animations in Flash and converting to mp4, and then inserting those into my Captivate project. There will be about 100 slides worth of videos, which would be unbelievably tedious for the user if they had to keep toggling back and forth between their browser and the native Apple video player. For the record, I've already experimented with converting these into HTML5 content and inserting them into Captivate as web objects, but that's no good since the <iframe> tag forces those objects to the top, regardless of my stack order in the timeline.
So any creative solutions?

That's unfortunately not really correct. I don't care about user navigation from slide to slide--I actually like the fact that the user has to use the next and back buttons and I would actually prefer that the next video didn't auto-play when the previous one finished.
Let me back up for a second. When you go to YouTube on your iPhone, you can't just push play on a video and watch it in the browser. The video loads into an iOS shell and you often have to exit out of that shell in order to get back toYouTube. In my course, I don't want the videos to play in that shell (i.e. a new window, which is what's happening now). I want it to play directly in the browser. This is indeed possible outside of Captivate (per the link I included in my initial question). I want to know how to add that functionality to a responsive project in Captivate.
Does that make more sense?

It has error number -50.

If it only happens with this project, it's probable some media files have become corrupted.
Those may be render files. Make sure background rendering is off. Select the project in the browser and from the file menu, choose Delete Project Render Files; choose All from the dialog. Without rendering,try exporting.
If that doesn't work, use an optimized version of your DSLR clips. (Right click on the clips in the browser and hit Transcode.)

unless i'm missing something, i think you got mixed up, this is easy google for walk throughs
i'm assuming this is the new 3tb tc AC or 'tower' shape, if so, its wifi will run circles around your at&t device
unplug the at&t box for a minute and plug it back in
factory reset your tc - unplug it, hold down reset and keep holding while you plug it back in - only release reset when amber light flashes in 10-20s
connect the tc to your at&t box via eth in the wan port, wait 1 minute, open airport utility look in 'other wifi devices' to setup the tc
create a new wifi network (give it a different name than your at&t one) and put the tc in bridge mode (it may do this automatically for you, but you should double check) under the 'network' tab
login to your at&t router and disable wifi on it
add new clients to the new wifi network, and point your Macs to the time machine for backups

Deleting an iCloud account only deletes it from the Device, not from iCloud. In iOS 8, the name of this setting changed to "Sign Out" as that is a better reflection of what actually happens. Your iCloud data remains on the server, available to devices still signed into the account, but the device you sign out of the account on is disconnected from the account, and as a result, the iCloud data from that account is removed from the device. It will redownload to the device should you sign back into the account.
The only issue you'll run into when you switch between accounts is with my photo stream photos older than 30 days. When you delete (or sign out of) and account, your photo stream photos are deleted along with the other data from the account in question. However, unlike other data which remains on the server and can redownload to your device when you sign back in, my photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days. When you sign back in, you will only get back my photo stream photos added in the last 30 days (as older photos are no longer in iCloud to redownload). Like other account data, any my photo stream photos on your other devices signed into the account are unaffected by this. If you want to keep older my photo stream photos on your device as you change iCloud accounts, save them to your camera roll before deleting (signing out of) the account.

For some reason I cannot send email - all was working fine, but now I get the following error message when I try to send email:

I've had an iPad for almost two years. When I purchased an iPhone last fall I set it up to use the same Apple ID as my iPhone. I've had no problems doing this. Try resetting each device and see what happens.
First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Restore iPad to Factory Default; do not restore from backup. It may be the cause of the problem.

Hi everyone,
So whenever I open certain websites on Safari, suddenly I am redirected to either a women's health or a doctor's ad. (I am guessing this is called phishing)
1)I've asked my friends if they've had the same problem with those certain sites and they replied no. Does this mean it is about my network? (I am the only one using this network at my home as I live alone)
2)This happens on all my Apple devices including iPad and iPhone (when I tried to open the same website on my İphone while using mobile data, the problem did not happen- when I opened wifi on my phone it happened. same for iPad as well)
Admedic said there were no adware, I have never changed my DNS so it has always stayed the way it always was also. So I am guessing my network is the problem. (I am also guessing that this happened after I tried to watch a movie free online) BUT, this problem does not occur with Google Chrome on the same website. So is this about my network or my safari?
I am now so scared if this person who hacked me gets all my information. What am I supposed to do? Please help!

A few things happened since I've posted this.
1)I've deleted all the history and cookies from my macbook safari and when I opened the website with the issue, the problem did not happen this time.
2)Seeing this, I've deleted my history on iPhone's safari and opened the same website but the problem was there again.
3)The problem does not happen on iPad.
So, I do not have the problem at all on Google Chrome but on Safari (now just on iPhone)
Is this still about my router settings? If so would changing my phone DNS settings would suffice? Or do you think the problem might still remain on my computer as well?
This is so frustrating for a person who does not know anything about technology at all
