I found the following menu option relevant to multiproviders only :Extras-Delta Pairs.
When is it needed and how to use it?

The InfoProviders that are assembled together to form a MultiProvider can work together in pairs as delta InfoProviders.
That means that one of the InfoProviders contains cached data for a logical dataset, and the other InfoProvider contains the (new) dataset delta, which has yet to be posted in the first InfoProvider.
Procedure
You can create pairs of InfoProviders on the current dialog box (with regards to delta caching).
Before you can create a delta pair, you must ensure that both of the InfoProviders involved support delta caching.
You also have to specify the name of an ABAP delta class. This class must support the IF_RSD_DELTAPAIR interface

This is new feature - i.e. suppose you are having cached data ..and if new data comes then this would be posted as delta data ...and for this you need to specify class as described below ->

Why do I need to press the CTRL-button to view my extra options in the tool panel?

strange!
all of the sudden, I don't get my extra tools in the tool bar (left) when I hit the black traingle in the right bottom corner.
It appears to be the same problem in ALL my CS4 programs.
I thought there was a conflict with my system OS X 10.6.2.
but after searching for days, I see that the extra options in the fly out menu become visible when I hold the CTRL-button and click on the black traingle.
any idea what has happened here?

but I didn't need to do that in the recent past!
when I simply clicked on the triangle, all the other options become visible. now, when I only click, nothing becomes visible!
now I need to click using the CTRL-button at the same time.
what has changed here?
I phoned my collegue. he doesn't need to use the ctrl-button either...
what did I miss???

Double Data is seen in the Multiprovider (LISTCUBE transaction)

I have a multiprovider which uses 2 ODS's namely ODS 1 and ODS2 , ODS1 is the source to ODS 2. after the ODS 2 is loaded from ODS 1, a selective deletion is to be done in ODS 1.There is a query on the multiprovider. ( i have not performed the selective deletion yet). When i goto LISTCUBE transaction, i see exactly double the records i am gettin in the output of my report. I believe this is because i have same data in ODS 1 and ODS2.
Step 2:
I have performed selective deletion in ODS 1 for the relavant selection. After the selective deletion in ODS 1, I am not able to see the records even in the ODS 2.
But, the multiprovider still shows double the records from both the ODS. ODS 1 and ODS 2.
The query fetches data for a particular selection criteria. I see the data in LISTCUBE transaction for the same criteria, but there is no data in both the ODS for the same criteria. Can anybody explain, why am i not able to see the data in both the ODS, whereas the data is to be seen in the multiprovider.

Before addressing your questions, do you have any reason for loading ODS2 from ODS1 and then a multi provider on them? By doing this, your data in the report will also be doubled and also you are storing duplicate data which consumes extra disk space.

YES, because you have ODS1 and ODS2 have same set of data. Even if you run a report without filter, you will see data getting doubled.

Run Listcube for the ODS for the same selection that you ran for the list cube on multi cube.
Also, while deleting how did you delete; what selections?

Delete the initialization of delta on open hub table

I have loaded data from cube to open hub table using DTP with full update, later on i have loaded the data using a DTP with delta update. Now i am thinking that delta has been initialized on the open hub table, so now want to delete the initialization of delta on the open hub table. It would be great if some one could send me the response.

Hi Sam,
If I understand you correctly,
You have removed your Initialisation by going InfoPackage --> Scheduler --> Initialization Options for Source --> Removed the Request
Then you did Init without Data Transfer
Then you have the option from init withoout Data transfer to Delta in InfoPackage and Loaded the Data.
Check in the Process Chain the InfoPackage you have mentioned in the selections may pointing towards Init load instead of Delta.

When Acrobat is installed first, it does not have a Plug-ins menu. When you buy extra plug-ins for Acrobat, some plug-ins will add a Plug-ins menu. Some won't - some will add other menus, or buttons, or something else.
So
1. Make sure you have purchased the Mac plug-in(s) you need.
2. Make sure they are installed.
3. Make sure they are compatible with your version of Acrobat; the Mac is much less forgiving about versions, you need to check carefully.
4. If the plug-in is compatible and installed perhaps it doesn't add a plug-ins menu.

If not then does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option on your Mac's iTunes find it ? If that doesn't find it then see if it shows in the 'redownloading' area under Quicklinks :
Whether you can redownload the film depends upon what country that you are in, and if the studio/rights-holder allows redownloading. Does the film appear under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your Mac's iTunes

Swap Option/Alt key for extra Control key?

I use the control key far more then I ever use the Option/alt key.
Is there any way (on either or both my MacBook Pro's keyboard, or my Slim Apple Blutooh keyboard that I can "change" the function of that option key to an extra control key? That way I can have one on both sides of the keyboard.
I've looked and the only thing I can find is something that tuned it into an extra return/enter key. But thats not what I want....but it is close. So there has to be a way to do it.
So any ideas?

I love being able to have a group contact list on my device.
You can go to Contacts>Click on the icon right below the contacts with 2 people>Select the green plus sign in the upper right hand corner>Create a group name and then go thru the contact list to add up to 20 contacts for the group.
This will help you get the group contacts added again.

Text options in the new Preview (Yosemite)

Dear list members, in the old version of Preview (Mavericks), there were several options in the text box tool, such as outlined text. Now in the new Preview (Yosemite), those options are gone. Is there a way to reactivate them? Thanks!

I find it annoying too. Also, when you want to add text, you always need to open the title bar and then to text box always goes in the middle of the document. The only way I found to get over that issue was to ask my friend to put Preview 7.0 on a USB key (he is still on Mavericks) and then I dragged it in my application folder. It works for some PDFs but not for all of them unfortunatelly...

Brian - The batteries are fine and there has only every been one keyboard paired with it. We have tried my MacPro keyboard as well, and it will not even recognise that there is a discoverable keyboard nearby.

HT1725 I bought a movie last night and it downloaded. But when the ITunes extras were downloading, my G drive disconnected accidentally. I have tried to check for available downloads and all of their steps but nothing has worked. What do i do now?

I have tried all of their steps online and there is no phone number to call. I don;t want to repurchase the item just for the ITunes extras!

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

Missing "Photoshop" option in the Drop-down Menu Toolbar

So today, I hear about "Syncing" my settings in Photoshop CC. In asking how to do that, I am told to go to the "Photoshop" option of the Dropdown Menu Toolbar. I don't have such an option -- my choices are File, Edit, Image, Layer, Type, Select, Filter, 3D, View, Window, and Help.
When I go to Edit/Preferences/Sync Settings, I am not signed in and was never Synced. I have logged in to my Adobe Account online with Internet Explorer. And under the /Help dropdown menu is "Sign Out (my Adobe user name)"
What am I missing?

I see. The “Photoshop” option is a Mac thing. I have a PC. In any event, going to “Edit > [your Adobe ID] > Sync Settings Now” does not work because I lack the “[your Adobe ID] ” option. “Sync Settings Now” option is visible but only takes me to the “Preferences” area as described above.

SSRS report with tabular model – Create a dropdown report parameter with "None" option as the top value.

Hello Everyone,
I would like to create SSRS single select dropdown list parameter (it is using MDX query in dataset) with "None" option at the top. Note: this parameter is dependent parameter and getting filtered based on the selection of another parameter.
How can I add hard-coded "None" text at the top of the parameter values? Can Union function help me to add this hard-coded value? The purpose is, when user selects None from the dropdown ignore the condition of the parameter from MDX query else
use the selected value in query condition.

In your scenario, you can achieve your requirement in report level other than in query. Add a Filter like:
Expression: =IIF(Parameters!Name.Value="None",1,Fields!Name.Value)
Operator:=
Value: =IIF(Parameters!Name.Value="None",1,Parameters!Name.Value)
In this case, report will ignore this parameter, and show all the records on the report when selecting “None” value. I have tested it on my local environment, the screenshots below are for you reference.

Design issue with the multiprovider

Design issue with the multiprovider :
I have the following problem when using my multiprovider.
The data flow is like this. I have the info-objects IobjectA, IobjectB, IobjectCin my Cube.(Source for this data is s-systemA)
And from another s-system I am also loading the masterdata for IobjectA
Now I have created the multiprovider based on the cube and IobjectA.
However, surprisingly join in not workign in multiprovider correctly.
Scenario :
Record from the Cube.
IObjectA= 1AAA
IObjectB = 2BBB
IObjectC = 3CCC
Records from IobjectA =1AAA.
I expect the record should be like this :
IObjectA : IObjectB: IObjectC
1AAA       :2BBB       :3CCC
However, I am getting the record like this:
IObjectA : IObjectB: IObjectC
1AAA       :2BBB       :3CCC
1AAA         : #             :#
In the Identification section I have selected both the entries for IobjectA still I am getting this error.
My BW Version is 3.0B and the SP is 31.

My Expectation from Multi Provider is :

(From InfoObject)
Union
IObjectA     IObjectB     IObjectC

(From Cube)
The record in the multiprovider should be :
IObjectA     IObjectB     IObjectC
1AAA     2BBB     3CCC
Because, this is what the Union says .. and the Definition of the multiprovider also says the same thing :

Do you still think this is how the behaviour of the multiprovider.. if that is the case what would be the purpose of having an infoobject in the multiprovider.
