  • Why is there no option to render as an image sequence?

I am using After effects cs6 and when i try to choose a format there is no option to save as an image sequence. This goes for any clip I try to render. The picture below is where I am having the problem, under the format tab. There are only about 10 options under the tab and image sequence is not one of them. Any help would be great.

Here's what I see in the Format drop-down list on a Mac.  What do you see?

I don't think there is a way for Edge Code. I'm not sure about Reflow.
Why don't you just upgrade? That will stop the notifications.

  • My iPod Classic 120GB is clicking and not turning on. It has been charged but does not hold charge. I am not able to restore factory settings. Error code and have tried troubleshooting options without success. Thoughts?

My iPod Classic 120GB makes a clicking noise when syncing with iTunes and will not sync. It will not turn on at this time and has been charged but does not hold the charge. After trying to sync, iTunes states that iPod must be restored. Have tried to do this but not successful, I receive an error code and have done the troubleshooting steps for the error and I am still not able to sync or use my iPod. HELP?

    Hi mafiose15,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Restoring your iPod to factory settings is the best way to try and get it back to working order. You can use the instructions below to restore it:
    How to restore iPod
Verify that you have an active Internet connection, because you may need to download new versions of the iTunes and iPod Software.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes if necessary.
Open iTunes. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod.
After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
Select your iPod in the Source panel. You will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes window.
    Click Restore.
If you are using a Mac, you will be asked to enter an administrator’s name and password.
A progress bar will appear on the computer screen, indicating that stage one of the restore process has begun. When this stage is done, iTunes will present one of two messages with instructions specific to the iPod model you are restoring.
Disconnect iPod and connect it to iPod Power Adapter (typically applies to older iPod models).
Leave iPod connected to computer to complete restore (typically applies newer iPod models).
During stage two of the restore process, the iPod displays an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. It is critical that the iPod remain connected to the computer or iPod power adapter during this stage.
Note: The progress bar may be difficult to see, because the backlight on the iPod display may be off.
After stage two of the restore process is complete, the iTunes Setup Assistant window will appear. It will ask you to name your iPod and choose your syncing preferences, as it did when you connected your iPod for the first time.
You can find the instructions in this article:
    Restoring iPod to factory settings

    All the best,
    Jeremy

  • Sever vs. Database Code, Server Options

I'm looking for some introductory as well advanced
    Oracle or non-Oracle texts/tutorials on
    1. Deciding how to split code to
    - database strored code
    - and application (Apex) code.
    Advantages, disadvantages etc.
Especially, some description of database stored code execution.
    2. methods of Apex installation.
What are the options for the servers
and what are the choice criteria.
    Thank you very much,
    Marios

    Marcos,
Hmmm... You are asking interesting questions.
How many tiers can an APEX application have?
Well, this all depends on how you define tiers and whether or not you are talking physically or logically.
Physically APEX has three basic tiers; Browser, Application Server and Database, where 'Application Server' can be a number of solutions (Apache/Oracle HTTP Server and mod_plsql or the embeded PL/SQL gateway in Oracle 11g or Oracle XE). The reality of our physical Application Server tier is that it really just forwards requests from a browser into the APEX engine. So as Application Servers go, it's really, really light.
Logically things are a bit different.
Logically it might make sense to say that the APEX engine is the 'Application Server', even though it lives inside the database since its really the engine that runs our application logic.
Let's say that the browser is one tier (client/view) and the database is another tier (data/model). Those tiers are pretty straight forward.
Next comes the 'application logic' or controller tier. If we logically separate the storage of our data in the database (and it's a pretty good idea to do this physically too with different schemas and/or packages) from the application logic we can easily achieve a good model/view/controller architecture even if the controller and model tiers are both physically in the database.
So if the rendering of a data entry form is handled by the browser and the database holds the table that stores the data that form accepts, where should we put the business rules that will manipulate the data?
As Tyler suggested it's almost always a good idea to put the business rules inside the database. Let's say that some of the fields on our form are required. APEX allows you to make data entry fields required pretty easily, but if this wasn't enforced inside the database (with a NOT NULL column for instance) then another application (or even SQL/Plus for instance) might be able to put rows into the table with NULLs and break our business rule. There are many applications out there today that everybody was totally positive that no other application would ever be built against that are totally broken and/or have bad data because someone got around the application logic by building a bad application.
But also remember that as a development environment there's no reason why you couldn't call out to and/or consume web services, XML feeds, etc. from APEX. How you do this is up to you, but really, the sky is the limit.
Is there some sort of clearly separated 'application level'?
There can be if you want there to be. Certainly you can use an APEX workspace to hold your 'application level' information. Again as Tyler mentioned it's not a bad idea to put as much of this application level logic into reusable code libraries using potentially PL/SQL packages.
Is database stored PL/SQL code part of this 'application level'?
It certainly can be. Sometimes this can be a bit confusing, but there is really two 'sections' of PL/SQL code with APEX. The first is the actual APEX engine itself. The second is any PL/SQL code that results from using the wizards and/or PL/SQL code that you write directly. You should really keep the two separate. By default this is what APEX does with workspaces.
Hopefully that helps. If not, ask away...

  • Hinding code with Optional Regions

This is used to display a google map in my 'Location' page

Is there any way of hiding part of that code in my template?

Yes - well, this is a problem with a template controlled
    page. The body tag
is NOT editable. You *can* use an editable attribute on the
    body tag for
the onload attribute, which would allow you to access the
    values associated
with that attribute on each child page, but it's all-or-none
    in the sense
that you would have to add the full text of that attribute on
    each child
page (adding or subtracting the 'load()' call).
Are you using server scripting on these pages?

  • Pass code unlock option no long available on my Iphone4

Please help.  I can no longer see the pass code unlock option on my Iphone4.  Although I realize the importance of security, this feature can become a nuisance when you have to continuously type in the pass code.  I do not have Microsoft Exchange or is it tied into corporate email.  My Iphone is for personal use only.  This is extremely frustrated when driving and you need to type in the pass code in order to reach the phone pad.  I am on version 4.3.5.  With the focus on driving and texting, I am surprised Apple would run the risk of forcing someone to type a password while driving.  Thank you.

Thank so much for the quick response.  Took your advice and everything appears to be working!!!

  • Remove option for Data Tracking and Drill Mode

    Hi all
We have integrated a bunch of Webi reports into the SAP Portal. My question is now how to remove the options about Data Tracking and Drill Mode in the top right hand corner? I guess it is some special right we need to deny in the Access Level, we have defined. But if I deny data tracking and drilling in the Web Intelligence section of the Access Level, it has no effect.
    Please assist.
    Best regards,
    Martin Søgaard

I, too, am perplexed by this change. Then again, I've been perplexed by most of the changes Apple has made to products/os in the last few years. I'm thinking that I may not only change browsers, but hardware/software also. It's issues like this that make me wonder if anyone on the Apple design team actually uses any of their products, or maybe they think we are all just too ignorant to be able to use a computer.
Making things simple to use shouldn't equate to removing advanced functionality, but it seems that's what Apple believes it to be.
    Really disgusted now.
    Thanks Apple.

  • Command line options / API Support to launch the sequence file

does teststand support any command line options / API Support to launch the sequence file and also populate the test run status. I want to explore the option of integrating the teststand with QC where I can launch the sequence from QC and results are sent back to QC.
    Thanks in advance,
      -Dilip

    Hi Dilip,
Here are the command line options for TestStand v4.2.1:
    Command Line Processing
    Command line usage:
       seqedit.exe [<sequence file>]
                   [/goto <location>]
                   [/run <sequence> <sequence file>]
                   [/runEntryPoint <entry point> <sequence file>]
                   [/quit]
                   [/setCurrentDir]
                   [/useExisting]
                   [<workspace file>]
<location>:  property object path to the item to display in the file
                   Location examples:
                         TestExec.exe c:\example.seq /goto "Seq[\"MainSequence\"].Main[\"Power On\"]"
                         TestExec.exe c:\example.seq /goto "Seq[\"MainSequence\"].Main[\"ID#:JifH4ODTf0y1z7bJne0G7D\"]"
                         TestExec.exe c:\example.seq /goto "Seq[1].Main[4].TS.LoadOpt"
<sequence file>:  sequence file to open
          <sequence>:       sequence to run
<entry point>:    entry point, such as Single Pass or Test UUTs, to run
<workspace file>: workspace file to open
You may specify multiple sequence files, sequences, and entry points.
Quotes are required for arguments that contain a space, such as
       "Test UUTs" and "C:\My Documents\Test Sequence.seq"
I don't believe you'll get a return status of the executed sequence from the editor on close; but you could design your sequence to write the status to a file and then read that by your QC application.

  • 10GB Ethernet options for px4-300r and px12-350r

    Hello,
I see that third party vendors are listing a 10GB 2-port Ethernet upgrade for the px12-400r and px12-450r.   Will this also work in a px4-300r or the px12-350r?  Both units have the optional pci-express slots (1 on the px4, 3 on the px12) so it looks like the hardware is there.
Any thoughts?  I'd love to be able to put that kind of bandwidth in my px4 and px12 systems.
    Thank you,
    --Jeff

I just chatted with one of our level 3 agents and he said that the 10GB cards should work with the px rackmount devices. He did not have a part number though since it is fairly new and he had actually already asked our head office for it but is still waiting to hear back from them. I would recommend calling in if you need the part number or possibly asking the retailer/reseller that you bought the device from if they have it.
You can call this number as it is specific to our customers with px12 devices: 866-856-9898
