Option to i tunes?

Hello, My problem is more of a hardware issue really. I cannot install my i tunes software that came with my new nano as my laptop I use is my husbands government issued computer and you cannot install any software into it. It's a royal pain in the tush, my computer is on the blitz, sooo I was wondering if there is any other way I can download songs onto my nano from the internet without going through i tunes? I did try to transfer some songs off of one of my cd's through the Windows XP media player which is installed on this laptop, it seemed to work, however the songs show they were sent to my i pod under "contacts" which is not where they should go, and I don't see them on any files on my i pod, no songs show up at all, my memory is down some so I would assume they are there somewhere? Any help would be marvelous thanks!!!

Yes, I know this forum has users like me and it's not Apple. I was only venting and, showing my frustration for Apple. You said if I wanted more help I need to give more info...
What kind of info? like what kind of Apple computers I have? the specs? etc. I know I need Itunes on a PC as well to add movies to my Iphone 4s but, I also have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and, that phone all I do is Plug it in to my PC and from there on it's really easy because it gives me the option to let my PC see it as a external HDD to where I can litteraly drag my movies that I want into it.. And, boom! I'm done. With Apple is like oh my god, you need this you need that you need the other thing.. Blah Blah Blah LOL.... But, I'm a stubborn bull and I want to add movies to my Iphone 4s. So, what I do is the following, I plug in my iphone 4s to my macbook pro and Itunes launches by itself, then I click on the iphone 4s on the upperr right corner, right after a list appears with all my music, then I click on where it says Movies on the upper left, then I try to drag a movie into the list and there's an error message that appears telling me that the movie wasn't copied to my iphone because it can't be played.... at this point I gave up and here I am asking for help.
I don't what info you want, I have a iphone 4s, a macbook pro wth OSX Mavericks, 2.6 GHz Intel Core !7 8 GB ram... I also have a Imac which I have put away since we just moved in so, I can't remember the specs but it's about 2 - 3 years older than my macbook pro... Apple seems easy to use when it comes to graphic design, video editing and, working with audio... When it comes to multimedia, it seems not so great. I hope this is enough info... TS1845 i am running windows xp and have tried at a resolution higher than 1024 x 768 but i tunes is still not displaying all options fully on my pc?

Which tuner? ExpressCard? or USB???

Just ordered my new laptop; the HDX 18T; should be here soon; comes without, however, the optional integrated TV tuner.
So I wish to get some tuner.
But I see there is this HP USB TV tuner .. and there also is the ExpressCard thing that goes in the slot.
Which does what? Which should I get? What's the difference?

usb defintly because u can use on other computers just not a laptop and dont go with any from hp because you can get one
for less and it will just work as great

How do I correct the syncing error when the i-tunes logo and connector cord are displayed on screen?

I have just installed the update for ios07.03 and am attempting to sync my phone. My phone appears to be locked with an image of the itunes logo and a connector (with arow) pointing to this logo on screen. I can't select the sync option in i-tunes. I have attempted to re-set the phone, unistalled and re-installed itunes but nothing is working. Any suggestions??

b. Mark has not yet offered the details of the Timeline content (video and/or stills) being taken to burn to DVD-VIDEO or AVCHD DVD. with any oversized stills.

your not getting the tuner you getting the remote that goses into the slot i got mine included in the price from future shop

Sounds like your iPhone was previously hacked/modified/jailbroken and the
update relocked it to the original wireless carrier. If this is the case, only that
wireless carrier can unlock it.
Where did you get this iPhone?
What wireless carrier are you attempting to use it with?
Does the app Cydia appear on your iPhone?
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>Carrier?

Hello All,
We faced lot of problem during Oracle10G migration for example Performance issue, Tuning of init parameter.
Now we are planning to migrate to Oracle 11G.
Can you please let me know how to tune the init parameter. Is any tool \Scripts available for tuning ?
Our system are windows based (window server 2008 32 bit).
Any suggestion or any pointers will be highly appreciated.

My point, though, is that if Oracle has not provided an option to automatically tune a particular parameter, it is very, very unlikely that anyone else has.
You can read through the documentation to understand what each particular parameter does. You can then use your knowledge of your application to make an educated guess at the proper setting. And you can run tests with appropriate application load to determine whether you have improved performance. But it does not sound like that is what you're looking for.
With a lot of these settings, the right value is highly application dependent. For example, I would argue that CURSOR_SHARING should always be exact unless you are temporarily covering bugs in your application code. So if you have set it to something other than EXACT, there should be a project to fix the code bugs that force the setting. As code fixes go in to remedy the bugs you've identified, you'd want to re-examine this setting. Obviously, though, no one other than a human in your organization can figure out when a particular piece of code has been fixed to use bind variables in order to determine that you can change cursor_sharing.

I-Tunes can't see external speakers

I have succesfully created a network using the airport express. Wireless Internet works fine. I have also connected speakers to the airport express but I-tunes does not show them. I have named my speakers and I have put on the "search for external speakers" option in I-Tunes. It still does not work... Any tips? Or do the two features together (router and external speaker) not work?

I am using the same AE as my (wireless) router. It is directly connected to my cable modem. As long as i know the AE does not have an internal firewall let alone one that blocks traffic trough this port..
At the same time I want to use the AE to reach my external speakers whick ar next to my cable modem. I understood from the manual that these two features can be used at the same time...

It sounds like you are try to delete the songs by connecting the iPod to other than the computer from which the songs were synced. You can only delete songs synced to an an older iPod (pre iOS 5) by connecting the iPod to its syncing computer and unsync them.

Album art on i-tunes

I have never used Apple products mainly because most of my vast music collection is on WMA files, but recently I have been considering getting the new ipod touch after having learnt that I-tunes will easily convert these.
Problem:
I installed i-tunes and put just a few of my music albums across, a mix of WMA and mp3 which transferred ok except for the album art. No album art has been transferred. A lot of my album art cannot be obtained from the sources on-line and quite a lot is my own design.
At present I use WMP which allows me to paste my own art but I don't see this option in i-tunes.
Can anyone offer some advice as if this is going to be an issue I will just have to abandon my choice of moving to Apple.

By doing what you say I am able to transfer any album art I created myself as these have been stored as images in my documents. So far so good.
Now for the next bit. How do I get other art which I don't have stored, to transfer along with the music folder.
Why doesn't i-tunes automatically include the artwork when I move a music album into i-tunes just as WMP does.

TIME_OUT in ST22 while loading data

Hello all!
While I load data from ODS-object to an InfoCube, after around 18 minutes I have the first TIME_OUT in ST22. Some seconds later I have the next and then again after 18 minutes and so on. All the time while loading. The loading doesn´t stop.
I found the following statement in ST22:
The program "GP2GCXJX3UPKBEN0B528IGJFPA3 " has exceeded the maximum permitted runtime and has therefore been terminated.
But loading is still running.
This programm is the programm which is generated from the update rules which can be found in the update rules under ->Extras ->Display Activated Programm in the menu there.
I found also the information in ST22 that "rdisp/max_wprun_time" is 1000 seconds (16.66 minutes) which is the max. runtime. I think there is a second chance so the max. runtime should be 2000 seconds.
But I think "rdisp/max_wprun_time" is a parameter for dialog processes and loading over InfoPackage isn´t one as far as I know.
I load as a backround process. I´m loading from ODS and reading in update rules from 2 other ODS-objects. I read around 2 million records. Another IC which is very similar but doesn´t read from the 2nd ODS needs around 1 and a half hour to load.
Can someone please help me?

Update rules are processed in foreground and the time out setting applies to all dialog processes. The processing is done one data packet at a time.
If the load is from ODS to InfoCube and is timing out then there is no option but to tune the update rules. Bring down the records that are being read. If your select statement is reading based on the contents of the data packet, then bring down the size of the data packet. THis can be done in the InfoPack in Scheduler --> DataS. Default Data Transfer. In the Max size field try 10000 or even 5000. Number of data pakckets will increase but processing time per packet should be lower.
Another option is to find the ODS PSA request in the PSA Tree. ODS PSA Request number is the request number right before the REQU number in the ODS requests tab. They begin with ODSR.... Find this in the PSA and update to data target from there. This processing is then done in the background and the time out setting does not apply.
If you do not see the request then turn on display generated object from the menu of the admin workbench Settings --> Display Generated Objects
