Option to restrict MIGO Posting date after GRR posting date

Dear All,
My client is looking for an option to restrict the posting date of MIGO to be after GRR Posting date. Is there any way to do it? where the system don't allow you to post a MIGO without the GRR transaction has taken place?
One option i got is to tick the GR MESSAGE tick which creating a PO. Is it the right solution?
I would request you all to kindly give in your valuable inputs if in case anything else can be done or for the suitability of this option.

Hi,
Unfortunately, SAP does not provide any such validation between GR posting date and that of IR during LIV process. As long as the GR was posted prior to IR, then SAP will allow you to post. Therefore, what you should do is to activate the user exit so that SAP will populate the error message if end user tries to change the posting date which is earlier than that of the GR.

FI Text in MIGO Posting

HI,
At the the of MIGO posting .One FI document will create.
Please let me know how will appear the text in FI document.
Where we have to put text in MIGO screen and any other setting from FI side .
I have tried all MIGO screen text but in FI document text is not appearing

Hi,
First check the field status group assigned to that GL account. Then go to OBC 4 ...Select the field status group ...which is assigned to that GL account ...then click on general data and make text as required/optional entry.
After completing the MiGO.. check the fi document and double click on the line item .... it will go to the journal screen...enter there text...

System shud restrict stock posting of 04 inspection lot

Dear ALL,
Pain Area - whenevr Process order get release 03 inporcess inspection lot generates and after Process order get confrimed
O4 inspection lot generates , Evry time we use to process 04 Inpsection lot and then stock posted from Quality to Unrestrcted and finally , urestricted stock goes to market . NOw 03 inpsection lot remains in Created status , system not restriced for 04 activity i.e stock posting . So I want to restrict stock posting of 04 inspection lot if 03 inpsection lot doesnt have UD status .
please suggest .

Do you want to put a hard error when UD is taken for O4 lots, if the corresponsding SF lot is not released? This will stop users releasing the 04 lots and personally I am not in favor of writing a piece of code in User exit at UD and stiop the release of a Finished Batch.
I have worked on similar requirement where users used to check manually the SF batch - UD prior to release a Finished Lot. to reduce the manual work and data transpose errors, we have used a calculated char. SF batch released? and assigned it in the finished product inspection paln.
We copied the standard FM - QEFC_FORMULA_CALC_EXAMPLE and written a logic to look the consumed SF batch is released or not .The Function Module is assigned to a Calculated Characteristic u2013 the user will then be able to Calculate the characteristic during Results Recording of a batch of Finished Product to determine the Release Status of the issued batch of Semi-Finished material, as opposed to having to look it up manually. We looked at the Q-score to decide a SF batch is released , rejected or UD not taken. The Function Module used the name of the Master Inspection Characteristic (MIC) and the Material Type of the Inspection Lot to determine the Inspection Lot Q-Score to return.
With this set up you will not issue a hard error at the time of UD for Finsihed batch at the same time users will know the SF batch status when the results were recorded for Finished batch.
If your requirement is a Hard error, simply go for the user exit suggested and write a logic to look for the Semi Finished Batch consumed.

User Status - Restrict FI Posting

Hi All,
The scnerio in my project is as follows,
After completion of the project system status set as "TECO". I am not going to set system status as "CLSD"
After TECO, system is allowing FI-Postings to WBS Elements. I nned to restrict this posting through User Status.
1. How to go ahead?
2. If I set user status to Project definition, Will it apply to all WBS elements?

Hi ,
For creating user status we have to use transaction OK02
Here create a user status profile with user status NFIP- FI posting not allowed.
Select object type as WBS element and once u double click on the NFIP - FI posting not allowed u can see the system status. For the system status TECO select the radio button set. So that when u do the TECO for WBS the NFIP status will be activated.Also similarly for FI posting options select forebidden option against the individual system status.
This user status profile u have to assign to the project profile.
2.If I set user status to Project definition, Will it apply to all WBS elements? As per me this is not possible. Only PREL ie partial realeas of Project defn can restrict release of project.

Exchange Rate to be picked up from MIGO Document Date

Dear Friends,
During MIGO for a foreign purchase order the exchange rate is picked up from table OB08 based on the MIGO posting date.Is it possible for it to be picked up based on MIGO document date using exit.We are not using Material Ledger.

Dear Sathish,
We have the same issue about MIGO exchange rate.
We can change exchange rate derived from document date in MIRO via to using BADI FI_TRANS_DATE_DERIVE. But in MIGO we don't know how to change the exchange date from Posting date to Doc date.
We are using Material Ledger, so we can handle the amount of exchange rate diff. Anyway we don't want post the diff from GR and IV exchange rate.

Excise amount in MIGO posting

Dear friends,
The basic price of material is 100 inr and excise amount is 20inr. Total value is 120INR. Our requirement is In MIGO posting if excise is not captured amount updated for GR/IR clearing account and inventory posting should be -100 and +100 respectively. How to make it?

as the 20 rs ia the excise amount u cant load it to the inventory
in MIGO u can selectt the option of no excise duty then system will only post normal MIGo without the excise posting
now if u dont have excise ,then do not give tax code in po or change it before gr
as there will be no excise tax code ,u can select no excise and post the GR

I want to display one popup at the time of migo posting and that popup ask to user that " How much labels you wants to print?" and in next of that i want one text box or input field in that user inputs the number of labels he wants to print.
I have tried using various POPUP functions but i have not got any FM which fulfill my requirement so please help me on this issue?

The standart POPUP* function modules seem to either give an option to output descriptive text, or ask for a dictionary based field as an input. As you want both in one popup you may need to write your own custom pop-up.
Create a function group with a Z function module and add a dialog screen with the required text and input field to this function group.
Take a look at function POPUP_GET_VALUES as an example - A custom written one could be a lot simpler.
Then call this function from your user exit.

Inbound Delivery - Restrict GR Posting against the PO

I need to restrict GRN posting against the PO in case inbound delivery is already created against the Po. Current the system permits to post the GRN both against the Inbound delivery and against the PO.

Hi Shekar,
If you have maintained confirmation control key in the PO, in Item overview - Confirmation tab.
You have to create Inbound delivery through T-code VL31N, once Ind.del created, the MIGO is possible only by Ind.del No....Pls check wether the PO is subjected to Ind.del.
Confirmation control key can be mainatined either manullay in PO or
it can be maintained tro Inforecord, which will be picked automatically when you create the PO.

Exporting Options iPhoto '09 to include date

I have scanned and imported many [1300 to be exact up to this point] negatives into iPhoto. It has worked very well and FACES has been a great help.
I am trying to export photos and include the dates [of course not all have original dates, but I was able to input correct dates on probably about 100 of them]. I would like the DATES to export at least in some format. So far I have preferred the web/page type export which does give description, but even if I include EXIF data, it still does not include the date.
I just though of a possible reason, I started imported as TIF files which I prefer and iPhoto does an OK job with them, does it not export date on these and it would if they were jpg? I have all the photos also as JPG but I don't want to lose all the work I did with FACES.
So after all that rambling, is there a way to export photos which will include the date of the photo, for use by someone with Windows computer.

I'm just trying to send photos to others so they can see the dates also. I didn't know there were applications that could just read the exif data though.
I actually figured out how to get the dates out as I wanted them...
I used Print contact sheet and select the option that prints all the data where I can check date and title. Wish it included faces, but on most photos I've included the names of the people in the description.
Then I can use print as PDF [save] and all the information is there. Now I just need to figure out how to combine my PDF files into one big one [each set has 100 photos, nine pages in a PDF file] but that shouldn't be much of a problem.

MIGO - Held Data

Hello Friends,
I want to view Held Data in Migo of another user, Check it & save it.
My scenario is User A will enter the data & hold it
User B will Check make necessary corrections if required & save /Post it
But in standard SAP In Migo Held data By User A cannot be viewed by User B
Am sure this might be done earlier by some one using Abap help?

If you Hold the doc. in MIGO, It will not generate any number, it store the same in user Buffer. So there is no material identity to locate the same for other user. Hopefully it is not possible for the ABAPER too.

Error in MIGO posting Assets

How did you resolve your error? My client is experiencing the same error AA048 but using t-code SU53 reports missing authorisations which are maintained, have even went further to re-transport the role to no avail. Can you assist with possible solution.

If you are not going to always be running the newest technology always read software requirements before doing any upgrades. I run a 12 year old computer and yes, I see there are things I can't run (many), but I also then avoid buying any incompatible new technology. The system requirements are printed on the side of the box (albeit in 9 point medium gray font on light gray box ) Do not expect the Apple Store people to check with you about your computer first. I bet half of them were still in grade school when my computer was produced and none of them could possibly imagine anybody would run anything older than 6 years (probably not even that, more like 4).
Why not buy Snow Leopard? Of course you do not say what model computer you are using, but if you can run Snow Leopard on your computer there's no advantage to staying with Leopard. Snow Leopard costs $20 which is minimal compared to you now no longer being able to sync your phone.

For Example: I have 2 Calendar control parameter(Startdate,Enddate). If i select Startdate(2014-04-24)Parameter, Todate Parameter user will not select less than Startdate value (Past date are Hide/Invisible/Not selectable) and Limit the

Hi,
Currently, this cannot be achieved in Reporting Services. If I specific dates in the available values, the calendar control will change to a drop-down box control. You can only specify the default value for this parameter.
Here is my workaround for this:
1. Add a text box and type “The start day cannot be greater than the end day!” in the value.
2. On the Visibility page, choose the option of Show or hide based on an expression. Click expression button and type:
=IIF(Parameters!EndDate.Value<Parameters!StartDate.Value,FALSE,TRUE)
3. And define the visibility of your report as well, using the following expression:
=IIF(Parameters!StartDate.Value>Parameters!EndDate.Value,TRUE,FALSE)

Hi Selvakumar,
we can resrict the PO to have a single delivery date in all the line items by means of giving a error message or overwiting the delivery date keyed/determined in the line item.
You can use the BADI -> ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST. In which you need to implement the method PROCESS_SCHEDULE.
(for technical aid - This method will be called for each and every PO line item, From the imporing parameter im_schedule we can get all the details of current PO line, even we can change the data in the current PO line. )
