Optional Components Fail to Install with Illustrator CS6 via Creative Cloud on Windows 8

Hello,
I'm a paid subscriber to the creative cloud and I'm having a problem with installing Illustrator CS6 through the Adobe Application Manager on Windows 8 64-Bit. I've tried redownloading and reinstalling through the app multiple times to no avail.
My specs are as follows
Windows 8 64-Bit
16GB Memory
Installing to 120GB SSD with 30GB free space
Nvidia GeForce GTX 580 1.5 GB
The OS is completely up to date, as well as the other CS6 Apps I have installed through the manager (Which all installed easily and work well!): Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro Family, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Audition, SpeedGrade, Prelude, Lightroom 4.1, and Acrobat XI Pro.

How to install Premiere Pro CS6 via Creative Cloud Desktop (32-bit-system)

Hello community,
I have used Premiere Pro CS6 as a Creative Cloud Version on my PC with windows xp. After upgrading to Windows 7 Premiere Pro is not longer available in Creative Cloud Desktop App because it is an older PC with 32bit-system. I have read that ist should be possible to install a former version but I haven't found out how it wörks. I'd like to install Premiere Pro CS6 on my windows-7-PC (32-bit-system).

I don't think there is any upgrade that you can purchase for CS2. If you need to reinstall CS2 then see the following...

Installation problem with Photoshop CS6 from Creative Cloud

I try to install CS6 from Creative Cloud using the Adobe Application manager, and everything is fine until I click Start on the application after download. Then, I get a question if I want to buy a CS6 Extended licence after the trial period. I have already uninstalled the CS6 Extended trial version. Se picture attached. I am running Windows 7.

Error in downloading and installation: Installation completed but some optional components failed to install correctly.

I have been trying to download and install Indesign several times.
It downloads till 85% and then I get this error. When I hit 'try again' it starts downloading from 42%, jumps to 77% and reaches 85% and then drops off.
This is getting really annoying. I have the top of the line Samsung Laptop with highest configuration. Even my internet connection is working fine.
Please help me with this. Urgent project to work on.

Install Adobe Photoshop CS6 after Creative Cloud failed...

When I start my Adobe Photoshop, I alwasy get asked to reactivate my abonnement even if I bought a CS6 Version with a Serialnumber... This product is registrated in my Adobe Acount. What can I do to use my Adobe Photoshop with my serialkey instead with Creative Cloud.... (I used the Removal Tool from Adobe to remove my Creative Cloud Applications bevor I installed the CS6 Adobe Photoshop without Creative Cloud..)

Claudias31518194 what specific error do you receive them you open Photoshop CS6? Did you previously evaluate the Creative Cloud version of Photoshop? If so I would recommend removing all installed Adobe Creative software titles and reinstalling the versions you plan to continue using.
Without doing so you may still have upgraded components installed which could lead to unexpected results similar to the repeated request to activate. You can find details regarding the uninstall process at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.

Illustrator cs6 vs creative cloud version

I'm a bit confused. I have a registered copy of CS6 Master Collection and joined Creative Cloud using the discount one year membership to try it out. If I go to the APP section of CC it shows that some of the cs6 apps are installed but others don't show as being installed, although they are (Premiere, Photoshop are two examples). Why is that? Also you are showing an update "exclusive to CC members" for illustrator cs6 but I don't see how to access that. Do I install the CC version of illustrator over my existing cs6 version? But illustrator is showing as one the apps that is installed on my computer. Can someone clarify, please?

I don't believe you have to deactivate each application that you originally installed from disc. Ay least I didn't. I deactivated one...I believe Illustrator and then reinstalled from CC. That seemed to do the trick. It's my opinion that CC is still very much a work in progress, although for the most part I'm satisfied. I do think Adobe could do a better job of communicating the details, which is where the devil resides. In my original query on this subject I received different responses from different people at Adobe, so even they aren't clear on the details. Clearly, the transition peiod will have it's issues. For example, after deactivating Illustrator, as I explained, installing from CC gave me the CC version with the addons; however, the application manager continued to show some applications as "installed" and some available for download...despite the fact that all were installed. I just went ahead and installed the ones that the application manager said were not installed (although they were) and everything seems to be fine. I update whenever updates are available. If you choose to stop your subscription to CC then I believe you would need to probably uninstall the apps and reinstall from original discs, but I'll leave it to Adobe to weigh in on that.

Error message: Installation completed but some optional components failed to install correctly.

The above error message, with (6) at its end, appears when I try to download AI CC. There are no fatal errors, just "optional" ones, but the program installation fails and there's no way to complete it without the optionals. I've seen this message before with other program downloads, but those have been resolved, I think by running CC Cleaner on the entire CC installation and starting again. I'd like to solve this without having to uninstall and reinstall my other apps, especially the larger ones, since the time suck is huge. Has anyone else resolved this problem?
I've had lots of problems trying to get CC apps set up--some have been solved by Adobe, apparently, as they disappear, and a couple by me. I'm also currently unable to download the latest PS bug fix, though the first one installed fine. Is this new system going to get itself sorted soon?
I've run CC Cleaner several times--though no AI CC appears on the list--and have signed out of the Cloud and back in. Computer runs Windows 7, 64 bit.

I am pasting below the error log for today's attempt to download/install AI
CC. The number and specific types of non-fatal errors changes will change
with each attempt.
I am not inclined (nor have I time) to try to troubleshoot these errors
myself and will, when I have time, call consumer support to deal with this
(and with installing latest PS CC bug fixes). Earlier this year, I spent
upwards of 24 actual hours with Adobe techs on what turned out, after
several weeks, to be an Adobe server malfunction. Adobe's customers should
not have to become Adobe (or computer) techs in order to have access and
use of programs for which we pay. If you can read this error log and
suggest a fix, I would obviously be much appreciative.

When I try to open Illustrator cc, I get a message that says entry point not found- my trial was installed and working perfectly until it suddenly wouldn't open- the message suggested uninstalling and
reinstalling, so I tried but the installation keeps failing around eighty percent and I get the error message above. (windows eight) What can I do??

YOu have not provided any system info or told us what versions, much less have you provided the detailed install reports, so we can 't know anything.
