Options on downloaded applications flash and cannot be seen

Hi,
I've had this BB8830 World Edition for a while now. Ever since I installed IBM Sametime and Opera Mini whenever I press the button to show options in the application - the options flash briefly but don't stay on the screen. When I use the scroll button each entry in the options list flashes once and disappears.
Other standard applications like email, phone, calendar, Yahoo Messenger, browser, etc work just fine, punch up options and the options drop down comes up and stays up.
Other than that this phone works just fine.
Blackberry 8830 (GPRS, CDMA)
V4.2.2.123 (Platform 3.0.0.64)
I tried googling and searching this forum for possible answers but no luck.
Anyone seen similar type of activity and/or know of a solution.

Go into verizon tones and press and hold the soft key (the recent apps key-used to be the menu options key on old phones) to the left of the home button. when you press and hold it, the menu options come up instead of the recent apps. Do a search with Spotlight for ".plist" (without the quotes). In that list (should be very long) there should be a file named com.apple.itunes.plist. Delete that file by dragging it from the Spotlight list to the Trash. Don't worry if you drag the wrong file and delete it, as these are preference files that recreate themselves when you launch an application.

Check the date and time and time zone in the clock on your computer: (double) click the clock icon on the Windows Taskbar.

What is N-OS?
For the camera raw problem, every new camera has its own raw format and ACR must be updated to include it. That hasn't happened yet for the D5500, so you'll just have to use the Nikon software till Adobe gets the info and releases an updated version of ACR. It's not unusual to be in your situation if you buy a camera model that's only been out a month. You just have to wait a bit.

Not sure how long this has been a problem. Kids are young and I manually manage most things but recently having music synced is an issue. All software has been kept up to date.

Try a clean installation of the Flash Plug-in as follows.
First, download the Flash uninstall utility on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.
Flash Player Uninstaller.
When the download has completed, close all browser windows, open your Download folder and run the uninstaller. After this has completed, restart the PC.
Next, ( unless you already have it ), download and install Firefox and then using Firefox, download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash. Note: You may want to deselect the option to include McAfee Security Scan Plus before downloading.
Close all browser windows before running the Flash installer.
Launch Firefox and see if Youtube videos etc play Ok in this browser - if they do, close Firefox, open Internet Explorer and click on the same Adobe Flash link above to get a prompt to install the ActiveX component. When done, restart Internet Explorer.

IMac freezes after downloading Macromedia Flash and Shockwave

I just got my iMac less than a month ago. It ran fine until I downloaded the latest versions of Macromedia Flash and Shockwave in order to view certain websites. Since then, my iMac freezes about once a day. How do I uninstall Flash and Shockwave to determine if they are the cause of the freezes?

I have a gut feeling it's Shockwave that is causing the freezes. If you aren't familiar with Spotlight yet, it's the icon with a blue circle top right in your Menu. Click the Spotlight icon, in the Search field type in Shockwave. That will give you a list of where the Shockwave folders are and the components. Drag the Shockwave files to the Trash and empty the Trash.
As far as Flash is concerned, I've been using Macromedia's Flash with Safari for years without a glitch, but that's just my experience. If it were me, I'd trash Shockwave and see how your iMac behaves before I did anything about Flash

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, maybe after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.
