Options problems cannot change settings
When I launch options a blank window pops up. It says options in the title of the window along with a Ok and a cancel button. The rest
of the window is blank so I cannot customize firefox as I have in the past.

Transport landscape problem (cannot change the object)
Hi All,
I have problem to change my object in the integration repository.
Initially, i only have 1 XI server (dev and prod), until certain level that i have to add additional server for development. So i just install new xi in new box (fresh). and export the repository object form production and import into this new box.
But the problem is i can't change all the object. is that any workaround to change the configuration so i can use my nex box become development and later on transport back all the changes to original production box.

If you need to change anything in repository
you need to click on the software component in IR
and at the bottom of the screen you will find two checks
that will allow (or not) you to change objects
if you want to change anything in communication channel
you just need to go to change mode
you can change anything in ID

Cannot change settings to add videos
when I click on the ipod button at the bottom of itunes, the options come up, but when I go to the video tab, it is greyed out and I cannot add videos to my ipod - please help as I need to know how.....
Is your music set to "Manual" update". This is why it is grayed out. Drag and drop the videos to the IPOD icon or into a Video Playlist.

I cannot change settings or preferences.
When itunes opens it's only music. I can only chose album, artist, songs etc. There is no tab for settings or editing. I plug my iphone in and it syncs all my computer photos onto my phone. I want to change this.
I fixed it. I needed to push Ctrl and S to get the side menu back.

Cannot change settings from AAC to MP3 encoder although able to do so on another computer
I am frustrated as I am able to change my settings on ITunes 10 on my desktop computer, but when I downloaded ITunes10 on my notebook, I was not able to change the same settings from AAC to MP3 encoder although I clicked ok. It keeps reverting to AAC, and I am not able to rightclick my music file, as I can do on my desktop, to create a smaller mp3....
I also noticed that other checkmarks, i.e. checking "podcast" under general preferences under source revert back to unchecked when I get out.
What to do?

Iphone 6 camera problems cannot change front to back
i can only get the rear facing pictures onthe camera application and when hit the rotating camera it only shows blrruy image and not the forward facing lens
Has the photo you linked to been enlarged or is that the complete photo at actual size? The dot looks like an out of focus spec of dust.
If you feel your camera on the iPhone is not performing correctly make an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support. -
In iPhoto '11 I cannot change the book settings. For example, adding page numbers. There is no "option" button as is suggested by the help item. How can I change to book settings?
The "options" button should appear at the bottom of the iPhoto window, when you view your book, then the Book Settings Button should be available and you can activate page numbers.
But remember, that the settings available will depend on the Book Theme you selected. The above shows the settings for one of the "Travel" themes. In a Picture Book Theme, e.g. you cannot add page numbers.
What theme and book size are you using?

Not waking up from sleep-flashes lighted keyboard and screen, and I cannot unlock the padlocks in the system to change settings, look at keychain, etc.

I can't reinstall ML, nor can I create another user (unless I use Terminal, and I'm a novice at best with Terminal).

I have been by a web sit that the cookies are disabled in the browser. on looking at the help on firefox help the instuction as i understand was to change the setting under the privacy tab ref history fromthe default setting of rember hhistory to use custom settings for history. I change the setting click ok but it reverts back to rember history. I just cannot change the setting.This also happend in the prevous version.
To see History and Cookie settings in Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting <b>Firefox will: Use custom settings for history</b>
You need to make at least one change to make "Use Custom settings" stay selected.
If all history settings are the default then the History and Cookie setting revert to "Remember history" the next time you open Tools > Options > Privacy.
So it looks that your cookie setting are already correct.

I'm the administrator and I cannot change some options in keychain
I am the administrator of my computer and there are some options that I cannot change (they are a lighter text and the check mark box is filled in with grey) on system preferences (with some panes like the Accounts pane and others) and with keychain (under the 'edit' tab and the 'file' tab.) For instance with System Preferences under the Accounts pane, when it says "Allow this user to administer this computer" (with my user selected and after I have entered in my login password of-course) the box is selected, but the text is a light grey and I am unable to change the selection (not that I want to.)
Now with keychain the text that says "Make Keychain Login 'Default'" under the file tab is a light grey and same with the text that says "Export Items..," even when I have unlocked the keychain. When I have selected the System item in the Keychain menu, I am unable to change the option "Change Settings for Keychain 'System'" and "Change Password for keychain 'System'" under the edit tab. Furthermore under the file tab, I am unable to change the option "Delete Keychain 'System'" and "Make Keychain 'System' Default." Finally under the Keychain Access tab itself I am unable to view the item that says "Show All." These are all with the keychain unlocked, and there are also many other options that I am not able to change. Can someone help me? Is there a hacker or a malicious program on my computer? Please helpI believe that this is all normal behavior. I checked and my System Preferences and Keychain Access work the same way as yours. You should not worry about it.

Cannot change account settings anymore
When I try and view/change settings of an account I get a pop up message "An account with this name already exists. Please enter a different account name."

Have you done your homework?
Run DU, check/repair HD and permissions.
If that does not work, move following .plists to desktop; let system create new plists
try this one first:
com.apple.desktop.plist
reboot and see if this fixes it.
if not then move this one to desktop and repeat
com.apple.desktopscreensaver.rsspictures.plist
report back here with results. -

To change the region your Apple ID is using use these instructions.
Change your iTunes Store country
Sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you'd like to use. Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region.
Follow the onscreen process to change your region, agree to the terms and conditions for the region if necessary, and then change your billing information.
