ORA-00932: NUMBER-REF

Question

I have a problem with this code:
CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE "TIPO_NUEVAPERSONA" as object
(nombre varchar2(25),
apellido varchar2(25),
fecha_nac date,
member function edad (Fecha_Nac in date) return number);
CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE BODY "TIPO_NUEVAPERSONA" as
member function edad (Fecha_Nac in date) return number
is
begin
return round (SysDate-Fecha_Nac);
end;
end;
CREATE TABLE "PERSONA_NUEVA" OF "TIPO_NUEVAPERSONA"
select REF(p)
from persona_nueva p
where p.apellido='Sánchez';
I'm using the oracle express edition and the program says: ORA-00932. A number is expected where REF User.Tipo_nuevapersona is obtained.
Any help? Thank you.

with regard to the scheme I have one project called db
created a workspace with:
- Username: db;
- Application username: dbase;
- Added password;
ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected NUMBER got REF db.emp_person_typ

The oracle exception includes 'db.emp_person_typ'. I have never known Oracle to include a schema qualifier unless the object belongs to a different schema than the one being used to execute the query.l
As already suggested above by me and others you should connect as a dba and see if there are any other objects or synonyms that are already using that object name. Perhaps they got created as part of a prior failed attempt and never got deleted.
