Ora-03137 ttcp protocol error

Hi
ora-03137 ttcp protocol error.....i am using oracle database 11g release2 and operating system is windows xp service pack 2, 64 bit processor....plz tell me the causes for the error and solution
for it.

Hi, this error can be related to the network problem. This tells that the connection between the client and server dropped for some reason.
May be there is some network dis connectivity or firewall or even bug in the software or in database itself.

We created a new database and trying to connect from this database to Oracle access manager at AS400.We added the new instance on oracel access manager Tnsnames.
The connection is failing and the error I see in alert log file is
ORA-03137: TTC protocol internal error : [12333] [14] [0] [68] [] [] [] []
We are able to connect to the other database on same server .
Please help .

SDMWB - ORA-03137: TTC protocol internal error : [3120]

Customer is trying to migrate MS Access 2003 to Oracle database 11.1.0.6 using APEX 3.1.1 and SQL developer 1.5. He has used APEX 3.1.1 exporter the most. He ran the exporter for Access 2003 and got an xml file and sqlfile.
He created a repository fine in SQL Developer 1.5.
When he tries to capture the export XML file he gets the above error in the window and the Capture process either stops or hangs.
Seems like Apex 3.1.1 can read the *.sql file
SQL Developer 1.5 cannot process the *.xml file
Does anybody know why this is happening?

Please refer to the below mentioned document to review the compatibility matrix and support situation between Oracle client and database
Ref: Client / Server / Interoperability Support Matrix For Different Oracle Versions (Doc ID 207303.1)
The document clearly shows that the 9.2.0.8 is no longer supported with 11.2 database. Please use a higher client version to avoid such errors.

i hadbeen installed oracle aplication server.but i m not connecting to database.when i use the sql*plus.i use the user name-scott &password-tiger.i got an error ORA-12560=TNS PROTOCOL ERROR.

You're attempting to go across SQL*Net. I'm a unix guy so I can't help very much except to point this out.
On Unix I'd either undefine the TWO_TASK environmental variable. Probably a reg entry on 2k.
Or configure Sql*Net.

I tried ti install Oracle 8.1.6 for Netware and when starting the database returns the following message:

I got this error when i tried to connect to oracle8i version 8.1.6 from windows 98 station using oracle7 client in the station.
Oracle7 that i'm using it's personal oracle but i used NET assiest and created service name (test) to connect me to network version as follow test/test@test but i got the error above.

ORA-03137: While using Enterprise manager Grid Control

I have this strange issue.
I use grid control to monitor production database. Both grid and prod db are on diff servers.
when I login to grid control and frm there i login to prod database. I see this error in prod db alert log.

this appears to be related to optimpeek_user_binds parameter in 11.1.0.7.
There is a note in My Oracle Support (1296792.1) that shows the same symptoms.
It looks to me that the solution is to install patch: 9703463
If this is not possible in your system then you can try the workaround from the Note:
alter system set "_optim_peek_user_binds"=false
