    ....theres an ora600 lookup tool which helios posted. Always hit this first. maybe someone made a change that needs to be reversed? could find it in seconds with the 600 lookup tool. Always, always, always lookup that tool first. If it doesnt help only THEN log an SR.
    If the error is found in 600 lookup tool, the support engineer would only point you at that anyway which means you wasted minutes or even hours logging the call and waiting for the engineer to come back.
    I was on support anyway so had a look and that error is in the 600 lookup tool. OP, look it up.

    Hi..
    As you have applied patch, did you try to open the database as
    sql> startup upgrade.
    There musy be some files that needs to be run.
    Better read the README.HTML of the patch and follow the steps.
    If eveythig is done correctly and then also ORA-600 persist better raise SR to Oracle Support.
    For ORA-600 you can refer to metalink Doc ID: 356537.1

  • Problem in UPDATE with EXTRACTVALUE : ORA-00600

    Hi all,
    I have some trouble with this update query :
    UPDATE enveloppe_message
       SET ems_date_modification = SYSDATE,
           ems_login_modification = 'pipo',
           ems_dn_emet = EXTRACTVALUE (ems_xml, '/DataPDU/Header/Message/Sender/DN', 'xmlns="urn:swift:saa:xsd:saa.2.0"'),
           ems_dn_dest = EXTRACTVALUE (ems_xml, '/DataPDU/Header/Message/Receiver/DN', 'xmlns="urn:swift:saa:xsd:saa.2.0"'),
           ems_reference_tech = EXTRACTVALUE (ems_xml, '/DataPDU/Header/Message/SenderReference', 'xmlns="urn:swift:saa:xsd:saa.2.0"')
    WHERE ems_id = 1130;I get this error message :
    ORA-00600: code d'erreur interne, arguments : [koklismem111: BFILE locator], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], []But if I do this :
    SELECT EXTRACTVALUE (ems_xml, '/DataPDU/Header/Message/Sender/DN', 'xmlns="urn:swift:saa:xsd:saa.2.0"') AS a,
           EXTRACTVALUE (ems_xml, '/DataPDU/Header/Message/Receiver/DN', 'xmlns="urn:swift:saa:xsd:saa.2.0"') AS b,
           EXTRACTVALUE (ems_xml, '/DataPDU/Header/Message/SenderReference', 'xmlns="urn:swift:saa:xsd:saa.2.0"') AS c
      FROM enveloppe_message
    WHERE ems_id = 1130;It's ok and I get these datas :
    a : ou=abc,ou=ghf,o=bvhdjdie,o=lkljg
    b : ou=dfg,ou=fkd,o=nbjfkkdk,o=bnfjd
    c : jkldfjsdlflsnvkllkfkfllcklqsjkckldand thus, this query become ok ????
    UPDATE enveloppe_message
       SET ems_date_modification = SYSDATE,
           ems_login_modification = 'pipo',
           ems_dn_emet = 'ou=abc,ou=ghf,o=bvhdjdie,o=lkljg',

           ems_reference_tech = 'jkldfjsdlflsnvkllkfkfllcklqsjkckld'
    WHERE ems_id = 1130;Does anyone have some idea ????
    Thanks.

    Thanks a lot Marco for the link on the FAQ.
    But I don't understand how to use a non default namespace... sorry!
    Finally, this query is okay :
    SELECT xmlcast(xmlquery('declare default element namespace "urn:swift:saa:xsd:saa.2.0"; $p/DataPDU/Header/Message/Sender/DN' passing ems_xml as "p" returning content) as varchar2(4000)) AS a,

           xmlcast(xmlquery('declare default element namespace "urn:swift:saa:xsd:saa.2.0"; $p/DataPDU/Header/Message/SenderReference' passing ems_xml as "p" returning content) as varchar2(4000)) AS c
      FROM enveloppe_message
    WHERE ems_id = 1130;But this one, not !
    UPDATE enveloppe_message
       SET ems_date_modification = SYSDATE,
           ems_login_modification = 'pipo',
           ems_dn_emet = xmlcast(xmlquery('declare default element namespace "urn:swift:saa:xsd:saa.2.0"; $p/DataPDU/Header/Message/Sender/DN' passing ems_xml as "p" returning content) as varchar2(4000)),

    ORA-00600: code d'erreur interne, arguments : [koklismem2: insufficient locator len], [0], [86], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], []Maybe these optimizations don't solve my initial problem !?

  • ORA -00600 - Urgent

    I noticed this following error in the alert log. i am not sure how serious this error is.
    Is this is a trigger for concern ? Please advice.
    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [729], [600], [space leak], [], [], [], [], ]

    What's the oracle version?
    Assuming the oracle version is 10g, Refer to Note:31056.1 from metalink.
    SUGGESTIONS:
    Event 10262 can be set to safely ignore small memory leaks.
    Set the following in init.ora for example to disable space leaks less than 4000 bytes:
    event = "10262 trace name context forever, level 4000"
    and stop and restart the database.
    Repeated errors or large memory leaks can be diagnosed further by sending the alert.log and trace files to Oracle support.

    Amit,
    The doc id mentioned by Satish already,*138325.1* is the correct note for the error code of yours.As its not right to post the content of metalink material, I shall just say that you have hit a bug which is removed in the release of 10g. So you should upgrade to 10g and/or , post the trace files which are created by this error to Oracle Support. I am not sure that would work either as support for 8i is not there any more.
    HTH
    Aman....

  • ORA-00600 / kohdtf048 error

    I am getting an error on a query retrieving the
    SDO_GEOM.SDO_INTERSECTION() which uses SDO_RELATE()
    in the WHERE clause.
    Any information and/or suggestions would be appreciated.

    The sdo_version is 9.2.0
    I've pasted the part of the .trc file below - including the query. Let me know if you want the binary stack

  • While updating a table i am getting ORA-00600 error.

    Hi all,
    While updating a table i am getting the following:
    **SQL Error: ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [qkebCreateConstantOpn1], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], []**
    **00600. 00000 - "internal error code, arguments: [%s], [%s], [%s], [%s], [%s], [%s], [%s], [%s]"**
    I am not getting how to proceed on this. Please guide me.
    Thanks,
    Ritesh

    While performing some unspecified action (no DML) on an unknown table (no DDL) in an unknown version and edition of the Oracle database you had an untrapped Oracle exceptions.
    There are too many unknowns to help you beyond recommending you open an SR at MyOracleSupport.

  • Ora-00600 error when dropping a table

    Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.2.0 - 64bit Production
    When I tried to drop a table, I got 600 error:
    SQL> desc DEV.ATTR_IDX$EX
    Name Null? Type
    NODE_ID NOT NULL NUMBER
    COL1 NUMBER
    SQL> show user;
    USER is "DEV"
    SQL> select count(*) from DEV.ATTR_IDX$EX;
    COUNT(*)
    0
    SQL> drop table DEV.ATTR_IDX$EX;
    drop table DEV.ATTR_IDX$EX

    drop table DEV.ATTR_IDX$EX purge
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [15265], [], [], [], [], [], [], [],
    I guess this is because it had a parent table, which I dropped (I used "drop table <parent_table>", and it did not give me error, very strange).
    SQL> select dbms_metadata.get_ddl('TABLE','ATTR_IDX$EX') from dual;
    DBMS_METADATA.GET_DDL('TABLE','ATTR_IDX$EX')
    CREATE TABLE "DEV"."ATTR_IDX$EX"

    MONITORING
    Try to drop FK constraints yields the same error.
    So now how can I drop this table table, any work around?
    Thanks.

    This is a bug. There is no Patch avaialble for this yet. This error is seen where recyclebin is enabled. Possible workaround is to disable the recyclebin.
    This happens with the dictionary corruption due to inconsistency between obj$ and seg$.
    This is a correct answer but still i would suggest to contact Oracle support.

    Checked note 743766.1. It is not 100% relevant as it is about import, but the query is usefulselect sowner, vname, mowner, master from sys.snap_reftime$It reveals the materialized view some how based on other schema.
    Recreate the materialized view. problem solved.
